I wonder why the world isn't peaceful. I also wonder why some things aren’t meant to be yet some other things are meant to be. Yes, the world is indeed unfair. There are two types of people in this world, after all. The lucky and the unlucky. And I for one am part of the unlucky people in this cruel and unfair world. Some people wouldn't believe me when I say I am indeed an unlucky person. They say that I’m very fortunate to be a famous and contented person… but they’re wrong. They’re very wrong. Yes, I might be famous as a part of a well-known girl group, but I’m not famous in her heart. I’m not contented at all too. I’m not proud in achieving what I have right now because I haven’t achieved her at all. They don’t know anything. And right now, as I look at her glimmering eyes, they sparkle so bright… but why is it that when she looks at my eyes, the spark silently, darkly disappears without a trace…
“Rena-chan, stop spacing out.”
“Eh? Oh, Airin. Sorry, I was thinking about things.”
“Seems like you've taken thinking to another level. I've been trying to get your attention years ago.”
“You’re exaggerating.”
“No, seriously. Is something wrong? You seem down.”
“Nothing is practically wrong. Stress is just coming into me. That’s all.”
Airin sat down beside me and smiled as if she knew something was going on
“It’s about her, isn't it?”
“Who’s her?”
I thought playing airhead would make her stop, but she was persistent
“What happened to you and Jurina?”
“Nothing happened, Airin.”
“Rena, I know you. And that look doesn't fool me. Please just try to open up for once.”
“Fine. Well, I don’t know why, but it all happened just too fast…”

That day, I was in the dressing room, fixing my things and randomly throwing them into my bag not even caring what’s happening in it. Chit chats filled the air and the atmosphere was so happy go lucky. That’s why I didn’t expect something awful would happen. I decided to glance at the clingy puppy who I miss so much but she was just there… staying put… not doing anything at all. This was a rare sight to me, really. It’s not every day you see Matsui Jurina staying put in one place.
“Ne, Rena-chan, we’re going for karaoke, you coming?”I really wanted to go that time but it seemed like that puppy needs me right now.
“Thanks for the invite, girls. But I’m planning to hit the sack when I get home.”“Ah, okay, Rena. We totally understand your situation. We’ll see you tomorrow! Ja!”They walked out briskly, leaving only two people in the dressing room. I decided to finish fixing my things before talking to Jurina but suddenly, she spoke out.
“You know… it’s really hard for me to keep up with all this work now.”
“Jurina, it’s always okay to take a break.”I smiled at her, not knowing what she was talking about.
“But what if when I return from my break, you’re already taken by someone else?”
“Jurina? What are you talking about?”
She stood up and approached me. She ran her fingers through my hair and smiled sadly
“I don’t know… My brain can’t keep up.”
“What? Jurina, do you want to go to the hospital?”I cupped her cheek and she leaned her weight into it
“No. The doctors can’t heal the pain I’m feeling right now.”
Still not knowing what she was talking about, my face showed deep confusion.
She rested her hand on my hand which was cupping her cheek
“I’m just tired… tired of waiting, Rena-chan. I’m afraid that I might give up.”
“What are you waiting for? I don’t know what you’re talking about but if you want something, then look for the opportunity to catch it.”
“So many opportunities had passed by but… I can’t. I’m a hopeless coward who knows nothing about love. There were so many times I just want to be bold and just give you my heart already.”
“ M-me..?”
“Yes. Rena, I’ve loved you for so long. I’ve taken deep action but you just ignored it. What do you want me to do, Rena-chan?! I just… I just want to give this up…
but I can’t. I’m too in love to let you go.”
She took my hand away from her face and she took steps farther and farther away from me.
“Jurina, what are you doing— Come back here! You tell me your feelings and you distance yourself?! Are you a coward, Jurina?!”
“Yes. I’m a coward. I’m the hopeless and lonely coward who’s tired of waiting for the shining angel who’s out of her league.”
“Jurina, stop talking non-sense. This is killing me! This is happening too fast—“
“It’s killing you? IT’S KILLING ME, RENA!!”
She finally stopped being a coward and went back in front of me, clutching my shoulders forcefully.
“You… you have no idea what I feel! I’ve been waiting for almost 5 years now! You think it’s killing you inside?! Then, you think I’m much stronger than you?! I’M 15 YEARS OLD, RENA! I’M A KID! I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO IN SITUATIONS LIKE THIS!! I HAVE NO ONE TO COME TO!”
All those words she said were bouncing inside my head as she loosens her grip on me.
“You’re the only one I got, Rena…”She looked into my eyes and collided her lips with mine into a forced kiss, pouring all her emotions into it
“J-Jurina…”
“I’m sorry… for loving you, Rena-chan.”
She started backing away from me once again and she turned around.
“Please don’t be sorry. Turn around and let me see your face.”
“No one wants to see a coward’s face.”
She quickly grabbed her bag and ran away
“Jurina, wait!!”==== T w T ====
"And that's what happened..."
"Oh my God, Rena-chan, that was a confession!"
"I know..."
"You have got to do something about it!"
"I know..."
"Stop saying I know and just take action already!"
"HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE ACTION?!?!"
I suddenly yelled at Airin and all she had was a mischievous face. I glanced at Jurina and she ran away.
"Hey, look. She's alone, go for it, Rena-chan!"
"Un. Thanks, Airin!"
I stood up from the couch and ran after Jurina. After successfully getting into a place where no one's around, I caught Jurina and pulled her into the janitor's closet.

Hitched breathing as the both of us lean onto the walls of the very tight room. As I glance at her face, she's all flustered and nervous. But yet, I don't think she's worried about my feelings for her
"Ne, Jurina.."
"... Yeah?"
"You've been avoiding me for the past few weeks."
"I'm not."
"Jurina, look at me."
She slowly tilted her head and looked at me
"If I walk, would you run?"
"What do you mean?"
"If I walk away from you, would you chase after me?"
Her eyes immediately shifted down to the floor
"If I stop, would you come?"
She looked at me with a confused look
"If I forgive you, will you come back to me?"
She blushed but still no response
"If I say you're the one... will you believe me?"
"Say it, then. Let's see what happens."
"I'll say it but you have to answer my questions."
"You know... the answers are all yes. I'd do anything for you."
I pinned her against the wall as she looks deeply into my eyes
"You're the one...?"
"I believe you."
She answered with a tired smile. I looked at her eyes and saw bags under them
"... Were you crying?"
"I... Yes. I can't stand a day without kissing you nor hugging you. That's how I love you."
"I know... Are you still tired of waiting, Jurina?"
"What if I am...?"
"I'll try for your love. Give me your heart and I'll play my part, Jurina. It would be the start of something beautiful. I just want to catch up to you while you're running away, chasing your dreams."
She nuzzled her nose to mine with a grin on her face
"Okay. I'll give you my heart. I guess the wait is over...?"
"It's over because I tried for your love."
"You and your cheesy lines."
She wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me passionately. And I know it's the start of something beautiful.
