CHAPTER 11
~Acchan~
I get my handbag in my room then go to the front door. We’re about to go hang out together. It’s Uncle Sae’s idea that he gave us money to buy some new clothes and everything. I walk outside, there I can see Kine, my uncle is ready with the car. I stop there when Kai is about to get in the car.
"What are you waiting for? Let's go" he said looking at me who's standing there silently.
"No, we go by train" I said.
"WHAT??! Train??" he said surprised. "NO. NO WAY. I won't go anywhere by public vehicle!" he said cruelly, then he wears his sunglasses. Looks like an actor in a hollywood movies.
"Okay, just go on your own. I'll stay home" I said, turn around and act like I'm going to enter the house again.
"How come? Uncle Sae ask us to go together!!" he shouts, takes off his sunglasses again and walking towards me.
I stop. He's right, I can't cancel it. I turn around, "I don't want to go by your car!"
"I don't want to go by train or bus!" he replies in the same tone like I was.
We look in each other's eyes with the same ego. "Okay, we separate our way. You go by your car, I'll go by train."
"... Fine!" he said, a little mad. He wears his sunglasses and get into the car while I walk to the nearest train station from the house.
Arriving in the train station, I get in the queue and buy a ticket. "One ticket to the 3rd station." I give the money then the man gives the ticket.
"Ehm, me too!" a sudden familiar voice behind me saying.
I turn around and see a blond head guy behind me. He look at me with "Satisfied?" look. I smirk at him. We finally go together and get on the train. We sit there side by side. He doesn't talk anything. Just look around the people. I bet this is his first time riding on a train.
I chuckle and he looks at me. "What's funny?" he pouts. I can't hold it and burst into a little laugh. "Nothing. Where's my uncle, by the way?"
"Home" he said shortly.
The train is stopped in the next station, then a lot of people get in. Almost full, some people don’t get their seat and decide to stand up. An old woman walks on the wagon, she searches for an empty seat. I look around but everywhere is full. The woman walks over us and she finally stand up. I look at the blond boy behind me who is spacing out, still feeling strange with this situation on a train.
“Ittaaii!!” he groans when I pinch his arm. I give him a code by show him the old woman who is standing in front of us.
“What?” he said doesn’t understand what I mean.
“Sigh..” I move closer to him and whispering “Ask that old woman to sit on your seat!”
“Eh? Why should I? This train is so full, so where will I sit?”
Ah, lame. This boy is totally lame. I pinch his arm again, force him to do what I said with wide-eyes. I don’t know why but I feel like if I force him to do something in that way, I can see he’s afraid of something. He’s afraid at me when I’m mad?
He stands up and approach the old woman, he asks her to sit on his seat beside me.
"Ah, thank you" the old woman sits beside me and I smiles at her while Kai standing in front of us.
“.. you have a good boyfriend” she continues.
“…….” I’m stunned. I look at Kai. He looks away with red cheek. Ah, funny. This boy is so funny.
We arrived at the shopping center. At first, Kai ask me to follow him looking for his basketball shoes. He’s so excited to look around the shop until he forgets that he’s with me and he leaves me. I quickly call him by phone when I’m left behind. He’s terrible. But I appreciate for willing himself to accompany me buying anything. Everyone thinks that he’s my boyfriend. A boyfriend with not so friendly behavior.
After we bought so many things, he’s about to call a cab but I deny him. I call Kine to pick our shopping bags home, while I take this arrogant blonde boy to walk around the city. It’s already dark outside, I give him an idea to have dinner. He’s agree. But when I tell him that I want to buy foods in a street which has a street food festival, he doubts it.
No wonder, he never eats street foods. Always eat expensive and healthy foods. Sigh… I have to teach him how to live like normal people on the streets. I force him to try the foods, and… bingo! He finally likes it. We spent the night trying all the foods there. Time flies so fast, we don’t notice that it’s already midnight. Once again, he tries to call Kine to fetch us but I forbid it. I drag him to a bus stop and get our way home by bus.
“Uwhh.. I’m so tired..” I said when I sit down on the bus seat. We sit on the very back seat of the bus.
“Tired? Today was awesome, why are you feeling tired?” he refuses it and sits beside me.
“So, you enjoy the day?” I smirk at him.
He looks at me, his cheeks are getting red. “A little,” he change his expression and looks away. I chuckles.
I stare at the window beside me. Watching the people on the streets, the lights, everything. “I love to walk around the city at night...” I suddenly say.
“Yeah, me too… ”
I look at him. “Really?”
He nods. “Yeah..”
“Since when?”
“Err… since now, hehe” he laughs, showing his dimple on his cheek.
I seldom seeing this view. I laugh at him too. Seeing him laughing is making me happy. “You look better like that, Mr. Blonde!”
The bus is so quiet. Of course, it’s only us inside cuz it’s already midnight. Before I notice it, he hold my cold hand. I look at him in confuse.
“You’re so cold” he said shortly, so clumsy. Then he looks away.
I smiles a little, then we just enjoy the drive. I fall asleep on his shoulder and it felt so comfortable. I'm starting to enjoy my time with him even though sometimes he sucks.

X days later…
School is over today. Acchan went to the library and borrowed some books. Now she walks to the school gate, holding some books on her hands. Today is Kai's busy day, he will back home in the evening. Somehow it makes Acchan feels bad if he's not home all day. Even though sometimes he’s so annoying, but it’s relieving to have someone at home to share about everything.
"Watch out!!" shouts of a boy riding a bicycle very fast almost crashes on Acchan. She quickly avoids the boy's path but she finally drops her books on the ground.
"Sorry!!!" the boy shouts and leave.
"Sigh.. Couldn't he drive carefully?!" Acchan takes a deep breath and start to pick her books on the ground.Suddenly another hands pick her books to. It's her senpai is helping her. Acchan looks at him, he smiles. After Acchan collects all the books, she get up and bows to her senpai.
"Arigatou.."
He smiles and say "Anytime.. By the way, are you going home?"
"H-haik.." Acchan replies.
"Let's go home together then.."
"OH.. So this is our bitch!!" a voice of a girl heard. Three girls with glamour appearance walk approach them. It's the girls who bullied Acchan before.
"You tease my boyfriend again?!" the girl widened her eyes towards Acchan.
Acchan shakes her head.
"Darl, you misunderstood it. I'm just helping her picking up her dropped books" Acchan's senpai try to ignore.
"Shhh... " the girl put her index finger on the boy's lips. "I know this girl teases you so that's why you try to betray me." The girl raises her hand and about to slap Acchan.
"Acchan!!" a voice of a boy heard and Acchan turn around to see who is calling her.
A good looking boy with classy uniform, walking towards them smiling.
"Yuu?" Acchan thought.
"Hey, I'm waiting for you.. Let's go home," Yuu holds Acchan's wrist.
"Wait!! Who are you?" Acchan's senpai asking Yuu. Looking at the badge on his uniform, he thinks that the boy must be from an elite high school.
"Listen. I heard all the things what happened just now" Yuu said firmly. "Ironic."
Yuu turns to the girs. "Miss, if he is really your boyfriend. Keep him well. Because I'm really sure it's your boyfriend who tries to tease another girl."
Then Yuu turns to the boy. "And you, don't tease Acchan again. I'm Oshima Yuu.. Acchan's boyfriend. There’s no reason for you to tease her, of axpecting to be her boyfriend. She’s not available, dude!"
Yuu turns to the girl again."Now I guess everything is clear. Acchan never tease your boyfriend, and don't you try to bully her again!"
They can't find any words to response this situation. Yuu grabs Acchan's wrist and leave them in dropping jaw, watching Acchan holding hands with a boy from an elite high school.
“You’re going home?” Yuu asks when the two walk on the street side.
“Yes, how could you here?” Acchan asks him curiously.
“Hmm, nothing. I just want to fetch you and… maybe ask you to have an ice cream?” he smirks.
Acchan smiles and blushed. “Why is so sudden?”
“I couldn’t stop thinking about you, and today I couldn’t hold it again. I had to meet you…”
“Sweet talker..” Acchan smirks, with red cheek.
“I know you will say that. But however, that’s the truth. I really into you, Acchan” now he talks more seriously.
Acchan feels nervous. She never sees a boy saying his feeling this honest in front of her.
Seeing Acchan’s nervous face, Yuu tries to make it easy again. “Come on, I’ll treat you. There’s a great ice cream café near here..” Yuu takes Acchan’s books and hold it while his other hand holds Acchan’s hand and they walk together to the café. They talk about everything and Yuu is so expert in making her laugh. He always finds a way to make her happy.
“Yuu, thanks for today” Acchan said while they arrive in front of Takahashi’s residence. “Are you sure you won’t come in?”
He shakes his head. “No, maybe later. I just want to spend my time with you today, not meeting Kai..”
“Hmm.. okay then, thanks for everything” Acchan smiles at him. She turns around and walks in to the door.
“Acchan!” Yuu call her again just before she enters the house.
“Yes?”
“About what I said earlier to your senpai…” Yuu said. “Can I make it true?”
Acchan tries to remember what Yuu mean, when she gets it, she blushed.
“It’s okay, maybe not now…” Yuu said before Acchan could say anything. He smiles and waves his hand then leaves.
Acchan get in the house, heading to her room. She puts her school bag and the books on the table. She throws herself on the bed and spacing out. Her thought replays the earlier moments with Yuu. For Acchan, Yuu is a kind of perfect guy. He’s so kind, gentle, praises girl just like every girl wants, and the most important is he can say honestly and directly what he feels.
“This guy is so sweet.”

Kai is walking on the hallway of the sport center after their basketball training. They actually had a special training as the forward players. They decide to have a dinner first before they going home. They enter a restaurant not far from the sport center.
“Juri-kun!” a pretty girl walk approach them and hug Jurina.
“Hey, I’m sweaty..” Jurina tries to ignore the hug but the girl seems doesn’t care about it.
Kai standing there like a stone looking at his friend hugging the girl who is looks like older than Jurina.
“Kai, this is Rena” Jurina introduce the girl to Kai.
“Hi, I’m Matsui Rena. Nice to meet you…”
”Oh, I’m Takahashi Kai” Kai shakes her hand. “Your sister?” he asks Jurina.
“Girlfriend, actually…”
“Oh..” Kai just can’t say anything but think that his friend is such a jerk, dating an older girl. Great.
“Dinner?” Rena asks them.
“Yeah, give this Takahashi the best menu, it’s his first time eating here.. ”
“Okay. Just take a seat..” then Rena leaves them to the kitchen.
Kai and Jurina choose the cozy table and sits there.
“You date an older girl?” Kai said.
“Yes. Why? You never?” Jurina smirks at him.
“Bad boy..”
“She’s pretty. We’ve been together for three months. I was getting back from the basketball match, then I met her here. She’s amazing. You should try to date an older…” Jurina stops talking when he notices Kai is spacing out, doesn’t pay attention to what he said.
He waves his hand in front of Kai’s face. “Dude? What are you looking at?”
“Eh?” Kai look at Jurina who is looking for the direction that Kai looked at before.
Jurina smirks when he sees a sexy girl with a hot outfit sits on another table. The girl is sitting alone while eating her spaghetti.
“C-cup” Jurina smirks at Kai.
“Yeah…” Kai said. He doesn’t notice that Jurina is teasing him. “Eh? What?” he blushed so hard when notice what Jurina said.
“Oh, man… Come on! It’s normal. Go ahead, she’s alone…”
“What do you mean?”
“Go get that big boobs for a date!” Jurina whispers to Kai.
“What?? No!” Kai shakes his head.
“Come on, don’t be a loser, man!”
“I can’t…”
“Why? You’re afraid? Don’t say that you never with a girl!!” Jurina wides his eyes.
BAMM. Kai feels like Jurina just hit him with basket ball. “I ever with a girl” Kai quickly said. At the time, he thought about the night he spent with Acchan walking around the city.
“Kissing too?”
“Of course… ”Kai try to think again. Of course he has kissed a girl, once… accidentally.
“You’re lying, dude! I can see that” Jurina teases him. “Hey, I have a deal. I challenge you to get that girl… in your room… for a night…”
“Crazy” Kai said cruelly.
“Ah, you’re such a loser. Kai, you don’t have to fall in love with her, but look at that boobs! So hot!! Just get them for a night!” Jurina whispers at his ears.
"No."
"Loser."
"I'm not."
"Yes you are."
"I'm not a loser."
Kai stunned with what Jurina said. That’s a shit. But he want to challenge himself too, get a girl for one night stand.
"Okay."
