“From 0 to 24”
Having a super busy days with very strict schedule, the actress Atsuko Maeda looking forward for her day off. Her manager said that she may has three to five days off next week, but she has to attend some TV show on her important day, her birthday, which will coming next month. She really wants to spend her special day with the special people for her. Family, friends, and the most important... Minami.
Later, Acchan ask her manager and offer a deal that she will go to work the whole next week, but she asks for having her day off on her birthday. Fortunately, the manager agrees about the deal. She will having her day off on her birthday, only that day, one day. Although it seems like that deal force her to do hard works, she bravely face it just to make her birthday happier. Planning to have a great celebration, she calls her beloved midget to mark that day as 'their special day'.
"Minami, are you free on my birthday next month?!"
"Aah, seems like you're so excited to prepare it, eh?" she teases her pretty princess.
"Mou... I have to. I'm quite busy so I have to make it special"
Although they talk on the phone, Takamina can imagine how Acchan pouts. She giggles. "Okay. I'm free.. Let's celebrate it together!"
"Seriously?!?"
"Uhn. I'll be there for you from 0 to 24!" Takamina said confidently.
"Thank youuu Minami!!! I love you" Acchan replies happily.
Hearing Acchan says I LOVE YOU always makes her blushed. Luckily Acchan can't see it now.
Acchan works hard every day, now she has a new little habit, cross marks the date on her wall calendar, counting down to her birthday. She's so excited as she plans a little party with her best friends at her apartment.

Just a week before Acchan's birthday, Takamina is called to meet Akimoto Yasushi. He told her that their performance in Osaka on July 8th will be postponed to July 9th. It made Takamina a bit surprised. She had planned that the next day after the show in Osaka, they will come back to Tokyo so that on July 10th, they can spen their day off to celebrate Acchan's birthday. After the meeting, she immediately informs other members, and then sends Acchan a message.
"Acchan, I'm so sorry to inform it so sudden. Our show in Osaka will be postponed to July 9th. We can't go back to Tokyo before your birthday. We're so sorry for that.. We promise will celebrate it whenever you have a day off. Once again, sorry…"
Reading the message, Acchan feels like her heart breaks down. Her mind is full of disappointment. Now she has no choice. Her birthday will be a day off without any celebration as she had already cancelled all scedule for that day. Then, Acchan decides to call her mom and tell that she will going home and celebrate her birthday with her family at home. Besides, it's been so long that she haven't had spending her time with family.
At first she doesn't want to reply Takamina's message, but she realized that her midget will be so worrie if she doesn't reply it. So she finally text her a message
"It's okay, Minami. I understand. I will spend the day at home with my family. Do your best for the show, my dear General!!"

In the evening just after the show, Takamina gathers all the members in circle.
"Thank you for your hard work. I'm so proud that we did our best and the people cheered up by our performance. After the event ended, go to the hotel and take enough rest. Tomorrow we still have a talk show event. Thank you..." Takamina said in polite.
The girls are in the changing room while suddenly, Yuko grab the General Manager's wrist and drag her out from the room.
"Yuuko!!" she yelled. "What happen??"
"Here!" Yuko hands her an envelope. Takamina examines it, guessing what's inside.
"It's still 9PM. You have 3 hours to go back to Tokyo. I told the driver to take you to the airport and a driver in Tokyo will be there to pick you up."
"What do you mean?" Takamina frowns, she opens up the envelope. Then, she finds a plane ticket to Tokyo.
"BAKA!! Go to Acchan's house you idiot!!" Yuko shouts.
"Are you crazy? That's impossible! Tomorrow is talk show event!"
"Your fans won't let you leave Acchan on her birthday! Just go... I'll tell AkiP about it. Hurry!"
Without thinking any longer, Takamina get in the room, change her clothes quickly and takes her bag. Yuko leads her to the parking area where the car is ready there. Takamina get in the car. "Good luck!"
Drives fast to the airport, Takamina almost left the flight but fortunately she can still get on the plane. One hour flight to Tokyo, Takamina arrives and a driver already there. She asks him to drives her to Acchan's house.

Feeling so tired with her work that day, Acchan just take a nap on her bed when she arrives at her house. Her mom cooked her some her favorite foods. Late after the dinner, she has a talk with her family tells them about her work and dreams and also… about Takamina. It's not a new thing for her family to hear Acchan tells a lot about her cute midget.
Getting closer to 00.00, Acchan get in her room. She told her mom that she wants to go sleep, even though she knows she wouldn't. Acchan takes her phone, reading earlier messages from Takamina.
I'll be there for you from 0 to 24."
She smiles in pain, the pain that says the fact that Takamina is out of town for work. Acchan put her phone on the desk, she walks to the balcony. The sky is beautiful, there are a lot of sparkling stars and also a bright moon. She misses this moment when she always spends the night watching at the sky with her midget when she were in AKB. Just when the clock hits 00.00, Acchan lift her hands, close her eyes and turn her head down. She prays to God, that for her birthday wish, she only hope the best things happen to her Minami wherever she is now. And she hopes those stars can send her longing to her Minami.
As she finished her pray, she opens her eyes while a cracking sound heard. She quickly turns around.
A small cute figure, half panting but she tries hard to smile, Takamina standing in front of the door to the balcony.
With her teary eyes, Acchan half whispering.. "Minami...."
The older girl takes the initiative to move first, she walks closer to the taller girl and capture her lips with hers. It's not a long kiss but can erase Acchan's sadness that night.
"Happy birthday, Acchan" Takamina says while breaks the kiss.
"Minami how could you here?" Acchab said worriedly. She knows that 4 hours ago, Takamina was still shows her performance on a stage in Osaka. She watched it on TV. But now, she's in front of her, kissing her. It's just like a dream for Acchan.

The next day, Takamina woke up earlier than Acchan. She promises herself to make a breakfast for her lover. Acchan's mom helps her prepare it so it finished faster. The lazy Acchan is still on her bed closing her eyes. Minami get in the room, bringin her breakfast with her.
"Acchan, wake up.. " she whispers in her ear, sending an electric shock to Acchan's body.
"I made you breakfast. Come on, let's eat it "
Acchan smiles, looks at her midget acting so romantic that day. She gets up and lean her back on the bed head board.
"Wow, looks so delicious!" Acchan said, she smiled bright. She takes a slice of tomato and about to eat it but then Takamina slaps her hand.
"Why?" Acchan frowns.
"I'll feed you, you're the birthday girl!" she grins. Minami takes the tomato by the fork and about fo feed Acchan. But then the birthday girl take the fork and feed back to Takamina.
"Aah Acchan, you know I don't like tomato" Minami avoid the tomato that Acchan directs to her mouth.
"Who said you have to eat it?"
"Eh?"
"Here bite it!" Acchan force Minami to bite the tomato. In a second, Acchan moves closer to Takamin's mouth. She licks the tomato in Takamina's mouth, she starts to bite an chew it until her lips touch hers. They starts to kissing as Acchan already bite the whole slices and swallow it.
"Now you still wanna say that you don't like tomato?" Acchan smirks, leaving a red blush in Takamina's cheek. To erase.her shyness, Takamina ask Acchan to o hang out together that day. Acchan easily agrees with her offer but they tell Acchan's mom first before they go.
"Mom, I'm sorry I think today I will go out with Minami" Acchan said while her Mom is having tea in the backyard with her father.
"No worries, honey. As long as you’re happy. Takamina-san is here, don't waste this rare chance" her Mom said.
"You're right. But I feel uneasy as I told you I would spend the day at home with my family."
"Ahh, no… Nothing's problem with us." her father said. "Besides, Takamina is our family too. Sooner or later you will be one of The Takahashi, right?" at this statement from her father, the two blushed so hard and look away.

~ Talk Show Event ~
"Yuko-san, there's something incomplete with AKB48's appearance today. Where is the General Manager Takamina-san? I thought I see her last night on stage." the MC asks her.
"Takamina was going back to Tokyo last night. You know, it’s Acchan's birthday." Yuko said. Then she looks at the main camera "Atsumina fans out there, if you're lucky, I guess you can spot them walking around together in Tokyo!" Yuko pointed her index finger at the camera.

Takamina takes her Acchan to the city. They had a great day together. The two walk to the park. They were so surprised as they saw some big posters of their photo and written there “Happy Atsumina Day”. At first, Acchan thought that it was Takamina’s idea, but it seemed like Takamina had no idea too about how people could put those poster all over the city. Takamina texted Yuko and told her what happened. Yuko just laughed at her, that’s the time Takamina and Acchan knew that it probably Yuko’s idea.
After a very wonderful day spent with Takamina, Acchan ask her to spend the night in Acchan’s apartment. About 11 PM, they finally arrived there. Acchan opened the door, holding her girlfriend’s hand, after a long surprising day that Takamina threw for her 22nd birthday.
"I can’t thank you enough for day, Minami. It was so amazing!!" Acchan exclaimed while hugging the older girl.
"Anything for you. It's your 22nd, we had to let it go down with a bang. You deserve it" Acchan began beaming a huge smile at Takamina, and Takamina returned the gesture.
Feeling so tired, Acchan walked into the living room and flopped down on the couch, pulling a blanket over her and shut her eyes, nearly falling asleep. Takamina followed her into the living room, a small smile toying on her face. She walks over to her half asleep girlfriend and whispers.
"Acchan, why don't you head to bed instead of sleeping on the couch?"
Acchan's eyes flutter open and then close again, "Carry me?" the younger girl asks sleepily.
Takamina laughs softly and says "Aren't you capable of walking there yourself, eh?"
"But I'm too tired to stand, Minami. Please carry me?"
The older girl smiled and leaned down, "Raise your hips for me please?" she whispered softly and lovingly into Acchan's ear, and her hips lifted off the couch and Takamina scooped Acchan up bridal style and headed off to Acchan’s bedroom.
Acchan barely realized she was in Takamina's arms and was on her way to her bedroom, without actually having to move and walk there herself. “You’re getting stronger..” she said while clinging her hands around Takamina’s neck.
Once they entered the bedroom, Takamina placed her girlfriend under the covers of the bed and tucked her in like she was a baby. "OH! I almost forgot to give you your surprise!!" Takamina exclaimed as she quickly stood up.
"Another surprise? You've already given me so many throughout the day!"
"I know but this one is different. That's why I saved it for last. Just give me a moment to go get it, okay?"
Acchan nodded her head and Takamina placed a sweet kiss on her nose and quickly ran off to grab Acchan's surprise.
"I'm so lucky to have someone like Minami by my side" Acchan thought to herself, as she untucked her arms from under the blankets and smiled. "She's so perfect. She's the greatest girlfriend ever".
As Acchan was lost in her thoughts about her girlfriend, Takamina was walking back from the living room, where she kept Acchan's surprise in her bag.
"I really hope she likes it and doesn't freak out. I mean, I could always return it but things wouldn't be the same between us if she doesn't. I really hope I'm not making a mistake with this surprise." Takamina walked back into the bedroom and stopped in the door frame, admiring her now wide awake girlfriend, who was lost in her train of thought. After a couple of seconds, Takamina walked to the younger girl and snapped him out of her train of thought.
"Am I getting my surprise now??" Acchan asked like an excited 5 year old on Christmas morning.
Takamina giggled at her excitement "Yes, you are, but I need you to sit on the edge of the bed so you're facing me."
Acchan did as she was told and sat on the edge of the bed, facing the older girl.
"Okayyy, I'm ready!!" Takamina got a little nervous and slowly got down onto one knee and pulled out a little blue box from her pocket. Acchan gasped and put her hands over her mouth while tears brimmed her eyes.
"Acchan," Takamina began "…these past almost 8 years, have been the most amazing, wonderful years of my life. Ever since we first met, I knew there was something about you that was special, and ever since that day, my life has been incredible. You are the most loving, caring, sweet, thoughtful, loyal, and amazing girlfriend anybody on this planet could have, and I'm so unbelievably honored that you've chosen me to love through everything.”
Acchan just can’t say anything. Her eyes start to teary with happiness.
“This ring right here, is a promise ring. It means that as long as you wear it, I'm always yours, and you are always mine. It means that even through the hate, the arguments and troubles, we'll always love each other no matter what. You mean the entire world to me, and I want you to wear this ring until we're BOTH ready enough to get married. Acchan, do you promise to be with me?" Takamina asked after she finished her whole speech.
Acchan was shocked and happy. She didn't know what to say, but she knew that if she didn't say something that said she wanted this, Takamina would feel like Acchan was unhappy. Acchan then practically attacked Takamina and kissed her passionately for about 5 minutes.
Once they pulled apart, Takamina says "I hope that was a yes" causing Acchan to giggle.
"Yes", she kissed Takamina’s nose. Takamina could not stop smiling at Acchan. She was so happy that she accepted the ring the way she did. She’s gonna marry Acchan someday. That thought made her get butterflies. Takamina then crawled into the bed, pulling Acchan beside her, neither of them bothering to change their clothes. Acchan nuzzled her face in the older girl’s neck, and Takamina wrapped her arms around Acchan's middle.
"Goodnight, Minami" Acchan whispered.
"Goodnigh, Acchan. I love you so much."
"I love you so much too. Forever…" the younger girl began the line,
"and always" Takamina finished. “Happy birthday again…”
And with that, the two lovers fell peacefully asleep in each other’s arms, happier than ever. Just as what she promised, Takamina has been there by her side on her birthday from 0 to 24.
