"Um, I'm just looking for someone, actually." Atsuko gently interrupted him.
Kuu frowned a bit.
"Who are you looking for?"
"Well," the actress spoke slowly, curiously looking around the cafe with a slight blush. All the staff were quite good-looking. "I was wondering if there was a little blond guy who works here. I wanted to return this to him." Atsuko held up the pink umbrella.
Sashihara-san coughed violently.
Kuu gawked at Atsuko.
Haru and Yuu's jaws dropped.
Haruna looked up from her DS, eyes wide.
Churi's head popped out from the kitchen door.
Yuki's already shocked face became even more exaggerated.
Mayu smirked in amusement.
Luis facepalmed, shaking his head with a small smile.
"Oh Takamina, what the hell did you just do?"
The dark-haired AKB graduate shifted anxiously, waiting for an answer.

He is not here right now, Acchan," a voice resounded throughout the cafe, "and you might want to just return tomorrow."
Acchan turned to the voice and squinted her eyes.

When Minami returned to the cafe on Saturday morning, she was expecting the others to barrage her with questions.
She did not expect Haru, Jun, and Yuu to prostrate themselves in front of her.
"TAKAI-NII!" Jun cried out and clasped his hands tightly.
"TEACH US YOUR WAYS!" screamed Haru, tugging on the hem of her jacket.
Yuu stood up and shook Takamina's shoulders so hard her head was about to fall off.
"HOW DID YOU DO IT YOU MIDGET. HOW?!"
"SHUT UP!" the red-faced midget roared.
"HAI, TAKAI-NII!"
The three immediately fell silent.
"We all want to know, though," Luis approached the short girl and patted her head, "how your umbrella ended up with Maeda Atsuko."
"Yes, Takai-nii." Mario rested his elbows on the counter with a hand on his cheek, a sly smile gracing his face. "Do tell."
"Hold on, don't start yet!" Akane quickly got out of the kitchen and eagerly sat herself at the counter, grinning.
"Minna, I have Miichan on loudspeaker." Haruna announced nonchalantly, placing her iPhone on the table nearest Minami.
"TAKAHASHI. EXPLAIN YOURSELF." Takamina took a deep breath.
How did it come to this?She exhaled.
"I saw her at Hanazono shrine last Thursday and she was waiting for the rain to stop so she could go home so I offered to share my umbrella but she didn't trust me so to gain her trust she made me treat her lunch so I took her to Shomben Yokocho and she ate all the yakitori and we adopted a cat named Nyaachan and then when it was time for us to part ways I lent her my umbrella because it was going to rain again and I ran all the way from my train station to the apartment in the rain and that's why I got sick yesterday also apparently the whole time I forgot that I still had my wig on so I must've been mistaken for a dude and also I didn't know it was Maeda because she wore huge ass shades. Yeah."
Time stood still for five whole minutes as everyone (save Mariko who already knew) tried to internalize the long line of words than just came out of the midget's mouth.
Then the iPhone spoke up.
"So basically you went on a date with her.""Yeah."
"And you shared your umbrella with her.""Yup."
"Without even knowing she was Maeda Atsuko.""Un."
The iPhone became silent for 3 long seconds.
"Takamina, do you have any idea about the gravity of what you've done?"The midget gave a slight frown. "...No?"
"We have taught you too well, grasshopper. Wellgottagonowja!""Hold on Miichan wait--"
Beep.
Takamina stared hard at the iPhone.
Mario's light laugh rang in the short girl's ears. She turned to glare at her boss.
"What now?" Minami snarled.
"You should get dressed already, Takamina," chuckled Mario, his eyes twinkling. Takamina began to sweat. She knew that look on her boss's face too well by now.

True to the barista's word, Maeda Atsuko really did arrive that morning, as their second customer even. The first one was a regular, Sashihara Rino-san, who was a little quiet and always brought a netbook with her and was now typing furiously on it, sending furtive glances at the counter where the actress and the little blond now sat at.
The pink umbrella was currently being venerated in the backroom.
"So," the actress rested her chin on her hands. "Cafe Ricori, huh? I had heard that you owned a cafe now, but I didn't know it was a danso cafe."
"Well now you know." Mario grinned as he finished his latte art. He placed the cup in front of Atsuko. "Here you are, one Usagi-chan latte. On the house."
The ex-ace of AKB stared at the drink like a child who had received a Christmas present.
"Seriously, Mariko-san, I'll pay you." She breathed out. "This is so cute. I don't even want to drink it."
"Consider your coming here as payment. I did tell you to return." Mario chuckled and turned towards Kai, who was sitting a seat apart from Acchan, with head lowered and cheeks a dark shade of pink.
"Now, Takai-nii, don't be shy." The sadistic glint was still present in his eyes. "Sit next to Acchan."
Kai sharply looked up and shot daggers at the barista.
I hate you.Mario gave him a devilish smile.
I pay you.Knowing that he had lost (yet again), Kai grunted and dragged his ass next to the grinning Maeda Atsuko. He buried his head in his arms.
"What happened to the gentleman who lent his umbrella?"
Currently shitting bricks, thank you."You know, I never got to know your name." He could hear Atsuko take a sip of her drink. "So what is your name?"
"Takhshi Minmi." was the midget's muffled reply.
He felt her breath on his wig and the smile of her face grow wider.
"I can't hear yooouuuu."
Kai grit his teeth and sharply raised his head, blushing even heavier when he realized just how close her face was to his.
"Ta. Ka. Ha. Shi. Mi. Na. Mi. Ta. Ka. Mi. Na."
"Minami. Takahashi Minami." The actress leaned back, repeating his real name, as if testing what it feels like on her tongue. Her smile was radiant. "I think it suits you, Takamina."
Jun's voice shot out from the kitchens.
"We call him Takai-nii!"
The midget made a pained expression. He buried his beet-red face again, Atsuko's laugh tickling his red ears.
JURINAAAAAAA"Nnnggh."
Eventually the ace's laughter died down as her phone beeped, indicating a message.
"Dammit." she muttered, and he felt her stand up from her bar stool. "I have to go. I have a shooting in an hour."
"Stop by again, Acchan." there was happiness in Mario's tone.
Her voice and the clack of her heels became farther away. "I'll bring Tomochin along too!"
He heard the jingle of the chimes, but not the door close.
"And...thanks for the lunch, Takamina." Atsuko paused for a moment. "And take care of Nyaachan!"
Kai gave her a one-armed wave, face still buried in the other.
"Hnnnghh."
There was a faint giggle, and the door finally closed.
Something was placed next to Kai's head.
Miichan's voice piped up.
"What's wrong? Nyaachan got your tongue?"Kai groaned.
"Goddammit you guys."
The others laughed.
"Sasuga Takai-nii~"
