i said that this chapter was already ready before, but lots of things happened lately
that's why I didn't have much time to finalize and post this...
but don't worry, i promise to finish the story no matter what

When the Time StopsChapter 15Time indeed flies so fast when you're having fun with friends and spending it with your someone special. Seems like yesterday I was just a freshman of this school and now I am already a senior student. Many things had happened with the last two years and most of them were happy things.
Happy things. When I think of them, Atsuko's angelic face and beautiful smile comes first in my mind. It's true that you can fly when you think of happy things. That's how I feel like whenever I think of her. It's like her wings were lifting me up and making me reach heaven by her side.
I wanted to go and see Atsuko already after class, but today is the student council's first meeting of the school year so I can't just leave. And guess what? I'm the new student council president now and this definitely adds up to the pressure. I'm not in the right mood to talk to these people infront of me, if only there's a way to escape... Then I noticed that not all members are present.
"Where is first year and second year representative?" I asked before I start our meeting.
"We heard that the freshman had a minor accident earlier. Second year representative Watanabe-san brought her to the infirmary." One of the members answered.
Great... an excuse finally! God just answered my prayer.
"We can't have our meeting without them because they have important roles as members of the student council. Let's reschedule this tomorrow, I'll go then to the infirmary to check up on them."
I cancelled the meeting and hurriedly went out the room.
"Oh, there's our new Seito Kaichou!" Yuko shouted as she saw me, she's with Kojiharu. She then handed me a piece of paper.
"Yuko, nani kore?" I read what's written on it.
"It's a club proposal. I wanted to open my own club!" She answered excitedly.
"Is this another Go-home club or something like that?" I'm not quite convinced with this idea of hers.
"It's called the Rooftop club! You've been nagging me before to join a club, right? So this is it! And besides, I wanted to experience having a club too before I graduate highschool." She explained.
"So, what will this club do? I see that there are only two members written on here..."
"Yup! I'd be the club president and Nyannyan's the vice-president! We will maintain the peace and order of our
school rooftop!"
Huh?? I grabbed Kojiharu to the side.
"Hey Kojiharu... did you actually agree on this?" I asked in a low voice.
"I never agreed on anything, Yuuchan just dragged me..."
"So, what's with Yuko all of a sudden?"
"It started when some freshman barged in the rooftop for a dance practice... making Yuuchan bothered and pissed lately."
I see... so that explains why. I turned around to face Yuko again.
"Yuko, you need at least five members to create a club. Wait, do you even plan to add members?" I doubt she wanted that.
"Ofcourse not! Rooftop club is only for Nyannyan and me!"
"So, it's impossible to grant your request then."
"Eh~!!! But you're the student council president now!"
"Yuko, the rooftop is open for all students. You're a senior now and this will be your last year here in school, so be kind to the lower years." I advised her.
"Boo... I hate the school rules!" Yuko yelled and then ranaway from us.
"Takamina, don't worry. I'll talk to her." Kojiharu said.
"Thanks, Kojiharu. I know Yuko very well. It will soon pass. By the way, have you seen Atsuko?" I asked.
"No, but I heard that the drama club has an audition for new members going on today. Maybe you'll find her there." She said before she left me and followed Yuko.
I went to the infirmary first to check my two members. As I arrived there, I saw female students gathered around sneaking behind the door. I excused myself to them and went straight inside.
"You're such a show off, Jurina... You just started going to my school and now look what happened to you!" A girl with long hair on pig tails is scolding another girl with short hair.
"Hey, what did I do now? You know I only wanted to audition to this school's dance club..."
"Yeah and I also know you really got the talent. You're like Park Shin Hye... seems so simple, innocent and naive just by looking at you... But once you start your moves, you transform into a bad girl of the dance floor making all those girls' jaws drop like crazy."
"Teehee~ I didn't know you see me like that, Mayu-chan..."
"Nahh... don't flatter yourself too much..."
"Are you angry because I sprained my ankle? Or because you're jealous of those girls?"
"Whatever... don't forget it's your fault why we missed the first student council meeting."
"So, why did you still follow and watch me dance? I told you to go first since it will be just a quick number before I go to the meeting."
"If I didn't follow you then I won't be able to help you go here in the infirmary. Unless you want those fangirls of yours to bring you here instead..."
"Ahem..." I interrupted their little friendly conversation.
"Seito Kaichou!!!" They were both surprised to see me.
"Hi.. uhm.. I heard one of the student council members was injured, so I went here to visit." I told them.
"We're very sorry we're not able to attend our first meeting." It was second year representative, Watanabe Mayu, who apologized. I know few things about her since she's the former first year representative.
"It's okay, the meeting was actually moved tomorrow." I turned to the other girl lying on bed with bandage on her feet. "So, you must be the new first year representative?"
"Matsui Jurina desu! I'm from class 1-A." She introduced herself.
"Ah, nice to finally meet you, Matsui-san. Is your ankle okay now?"
"It's getting better, thanks to my personal doctor here..." She took a glance of Watanabe-san.
"The two of you seem to get along very well." I said as I noticed the closeness between them.
"We're childhood friends. Well, it's more like I'm her baby-sitter." Watanabe-san laughed a little.
"Oh, that explains it! Anyway, so I guess I'll just expect you both tomorrow at the meeting?"
"We'll be there, Seito Kaichou. Right, Jurina?"
"Hai! Ano~ so it's true that the school council president is really cool..."
"Ah.. hehe thanks. I gotta go now. Get well soon, Matsui-san." That's the last thing I said before I left them.
I went out the infirmary and noticed that the female students are still gathered outside. The school year just started and that freshman is already that popular. She told me I'm cool, but I think she's way cooler than I am.
I went next to drama club to see Atsuko finally. Ah, there she is... so they're still having an audition for new members and she's one of the judges. I think she already noticed that I'm here. She's now heading to my direction.
"Hey... So, how's our new student council president doing?" Atsuko smiled and fixed my red armband.
"Some things happened today. Yuko and I had a small argument earlier. And also I met some freshman who reminds me of your popularity when you're still a freshman back then."
"Sounds a busy day for you. But I'm happy at least you've still thought of me." She holds my hand.
"Ofcourse I do! Actually, I'm wondering if we can walk home together now..."
"Gomen, Minami... the audition for new drama club members isn't finished yet. You may go home first today, I promise to walk home with you tomorrow."
"Zannen desu... I understand but our student council meeting is moved tomorrow so I can't..."
"I see... so how about I sleepover again this weekend to make it up to you?" Now, she's giving me her sexy smile.
I thought my heart skipped a beat there. How can I possibly resist this angel? My Atsuko... was she actually planning on something again?
WAIT. Who is that? For a second, I saw a person standing there looking at us. But the person is gone when I tried to look back.
"Minami? What's wrong?" Atsuko asked.
"Nothing, I think I just saw someone watching us."
"Who? Where?"
We both look around us but we saw no one.
"I think.. since you're the student council president now, people here will start to look up to you..."
"Yeah, maybe you're right." Atsuko had a point.
"Maeda-san! We need you here for the final decision!" Their club president called her.
"I gotta go now, Minami... I'll just call you later night, okay?" She then let go of my hand. "Oh, before I forgot! I just wanted to say that I missed you..." She gave me a smile again before she went back inside.
I smiled back, eventhough I know she won't see it anymore. She's busy. I'm busy. What a start of our senior year!
HUH. I noticed there's that someone again! I tried to follow where that person's shadow is coming from but I saw no one there. Maybe, I'm imagining things too much. In the end, I just ignored it and decided to go home.
TBCi think zenpen has approximately 7 chapters left...
