Chapter 2 Turning around, I opened my eyes slowly. Seems I got quite a good rest. My mind feels in peace.. With left hand still hugging the pillow, my right hand wandering over the bed to search my phone. 7pm?! Yabai!! Didn't know I've slept that long! Geez.
I stood up and left my room after fixing my hair, going to the kitchen for sure. My stomach already asking for something.
"But why this house being so quiet at this time? We supposed to having dinner right now.."
Reaching the refrigerator, I opened it immediately and grab the milk. Don't ask, I love milk. I found something after close the fridge door. A memo.
'We left for attend a party, dad's business related. You were sleeping so soundly that we won't wake you up. Oh, and sorry can't make dinner for you. Cook something, okay?'
That's what written on this little paper. Using memo instead of mail me, how cute my parents is~~ but hella I'm LEFT??! Duh.
"Kinda lazy to cook. Hhh~ should I?" Thinking a bit, then I just go back to my room. "Restaurant is good. Yeah." I change my clothes and left the house to find a good meal.

"I have no regret came here, the food just too delicious!" Satisfied with the dinner I just ate before, tapping my stomach a little. My wallet will be a bit hurt maybe, but this worth it. A quality dinner alone, ha!
Just at the great time, I looked outside and realized the rain start pouring.
"Oh no, I didn't bring any umbrella!" Panic attack. Well I could catch a taxi, eventhough my house isn't too far from here. "Damn, just in time when I want to walk under a starry sky. Have no choice, then."
After paying the bill, I went outside and luckily there's a cab that just stopped, dropping a couple out.
"Taxi!" I waved my hand and shout, held my jacket above to cover my head then ready to running in.
I didn't see someone is running along the walk side, and just before I reached the cab's door, BOOM! Next thing I know, I'm already on the floor.
"I-itai..." Rubbing my arm, I looked over for that certain someone who happened to bumped me. "Are you okay? I'm sorry, I'm rushing for the cab.....e-eh?? Oshima-san??!"
After recognized that face, I quickly help her up, "Come get in the cab, the rain is getting harder and we'll get more wet than this!" I dragged her in. I realized she still wearing her school uniform. "Where do you live? I'll get you home first."
"...I'm oka-"
"No, I'm insist."
She gave in after staring at me in a few seconds.
"...you forgot to call me Yuko."

The taxi stopped. "Miss, this is the address."
"H-hotel?? Are you really living here??" I know she just transferred school. Yes, she is rich. But living at a hotel? Seriously?
"..yes. Thankyou for-"
I cut her off, "Keep your voice. I'm coming with you." Dragged her out after paid the taxi, I asked again, "You really live here? Or just for a while?"
She just look at me and turned away, "..come on." We entering the hotel with me following behind her.
When we reached the lobby, my eyes wandering over this building. Big. Elegant. Luxurious. Wow. I'm already in an awe state just from looking around the lobby. And my appearance now didn't fit this place. I'm totally a mess. But guess what, Yuko is worse than me. Instead she just walking in, give a small smile to the recepcionist and go ahead to the elevator. Following her into a certain elevator that seems different with the others (there's eight of them), she pushed the 'Y' button there on the panel.
"Eh? 'Y' and 'L'? Why this elevator just have two button on the panel??" Of course I questioned that, this building should be having 30 floors at least from what it's looked outside. "Ah, I shouldn't ask too much.. You must save your voice, rite? And I've made you talk much for today.. I'm sorry.."
I lowered my head after I apologized, gazing down to the floor.
When I hear nothing come as reply, I lifted my head up just to see Yuko just smiled at me with her gracious dimples showing.
Warm.............
DING!
I guessed we just arrived as that sound signaled the elevator comes to stop. I followed Yuko who stepped out, wondering where exactly are we. I thought we're going to her room or something, since the girl in front of me here should get her uniform changed for godsake. But instead she entered that 'odd' elevator and here we are, in a place that looks like......... Hallway? Where are we going?
I just followed Yuko go straight off this hallway and turned right just after couple of steps. Oh, there is a door at the end side of the hallway!
Taking out her wallet, she then took one card and placed it on this something that looks like a censor thing. She open the door after the short 'beep' heard. I started analyzing this place..
Oh, we arrived at her room...... I sighed in relieved with a small smile.
Wait.
She brought us in her room indeed!
But is this called a room? Wait a minute. Woah a private condo on top of a hotel?!
Pulled back my dropped jaw, I looked around to see all these luxurious things. Not-to-big room, wood floors and all glass walls with windows. I can see a pool out there. A pool on the rooftop? Wow the view must be nice. And here inside with all comfy appliances, sets of black-white couch & a huge TV, gourmet European kitchen at the left corner with a stylish dining table + four chairs. At the right side I see a small room with a table and cabinets inside, maybe her private office room? Well, and a wood door beside the glass door to that office room.
"That's the bathroom, if you need to go." Yuko's words awaken me from admiring-world.
"Th-thankyou, and you need to take a warm shower. You'll get sick if you stay like that."
"...un." Yuko nods and go up with the spiral stairs that located near the windows at living room.

I just sitting on the couch, and after a while Yuko came down wearing a jeans and a white shirt with a towel hanging at her neck. She pick the remote and turned the TV on.
"Your hair is still completely wet. Why you just let the towel hanging? Here, sit."
"..can't let my guest waiting too long.." She come closer with a smile attached on her face.
"Silly. Now come here, I'll dry your hair properly. And ssshh.... No complain." I immediately took the towel and dragged her down to sit.
Instead Yuko sit on the floor back-facing the couch, eyes glued on the TV. I just drying her hair gently.
"There you are.. Next time don't let your hair like that, you'll get sick. I've been through it." I let out a small chuckle remembering that time. But I got no response at all. Take a peek, I saw her eyes closed. Then I touched her shoulder carefully. "Yuko?"
Snapped out from lala-land, she faced me and replied, "Y-yes? Sorry I fell asleep.."
"Hahahahaha! That's alright, you must be so tired. Hmm have you eat something for dinner?"
"...No... How about you? Want me to cook something or order anything?"
"I have mine already. Let me cook for you, please? I caused you much trouble for today, I want to apologize." I pleaded.
"You don't have to, it's not like I'm mad or anything.. Everything was accident."
"No, I'm insist. What do you want to eat?" If she say some high-class food, then I'm doomed. What can I do with standard cooking skill?!
Giggling, she reached out her hand and patted my head "Stubborn beauty. Then, ramen please?"
"Stupid. Stupid hand, stupid face, stupid smile..." I muttered so quietly that she can't heard what I said, stand up quickly hiding my reddening cheeks. "Just wait, okay?"
"Haaiiii~" come her silly response as I walked towards the kitchen.
'Stupid dimples....'

"So, how is it?" Here we are at the dining table, with me watching Yuko munching her requested ramen.
Swallowing her meal, she replied "It's tasted like home!"
"Eh? Is it that hard? Kinda tastes like rock? Wood? Or else??" I'm panicking here. Damn I'm sure it's alright when I tested earlier! What's wrong?!
"Hahaha! You're funny, Haruna.. I said taste like home, not a house! It's just like, you know... The greatest self-made dish I have after a long time. Makes me feels comfortable and satisfied the most."
".....you talk too much." I turned my head to the right, avoiding her eyes. Such a new-sweet-talker-friend I have.
"Hehehe, I thought I like you already." I saw her face, grinning like hell. The deepest hell that could burning me anytime now.
What I supposed to say? "Just finish your dinner, Yuko. You really talk too much. Save your hoarse voice before it's gone completely."
"Haaiii~ haaaaaiiii~ I'm getting better already.." she almost finished her ramen though. She must be starving all this time. "Ah, reminds me, tonight I have a little job. Wanna come with me?"
If she said job..............her grandfather's business? Maybe Jurina and Takamina will be there too.
"Is it okay for me to come? I don't want to interrupt some meeting."
"Hahahaha, I really like you! Relax, it won't be a formal stuffs. Besides, I already consider you as my good friend. Very good friend."
"Sweet talked too much." I pinched her arm lightly, she winced a little but thankgod she finished eating already. "Okay master, but in one condition. No more talking at least till your job finished, just talk if it's important enough. Your voice still sore anyway, yet you seems didn't have time to rest well."
Nodding, she stood up slowly. "Wait here, I'll just grab something."

There's still a few people on the street at this time, well it's only around 9pm anyway, of course it is. Usually I'm at home in time like this, but I've called my mom earlier that I'm with a friend and will come home a bit late tonight.
Here I am on the street with Yuu, thankgod the rain has stopped so we could enjoy the night scenery, walking to somewhere I don't know. She just asked me to come with her to do some of her job (of course she is the one who will do it, I'm just gonna accompany her and maybe take a look?). Honestly I don't know where are we going to, and what kind of job is it. Yuko still wearing her jeans and shirt that she wear from earlier, a dark blue and gray hoodie jacket attached with a matching colour sneakers, and her big yellow headphones hanging at her neck. I still wearing the same skirt and blouse, but I changed my jacket with this one that Yuko gave to me,
"Wear this, the owner of that fashion brand give it to me, they're going to release a fashion line this friday and this jacket comes with the invitation."
"Then I can't! They gave it to you!" Shaking my head left and right.
"But it suits you more. Don't say no..."
"I told you, I can't.."
"Okay, I'll just give this to Recepcionist-chan then. Booo Haruna no fun." She turned her back like a sulking child.
Cold............
I tapped her shoulder, "Hey, you know what? I'll wear that." Yuko then turned her head to me. "Come on, don't give me a pout."
She fully-faced me now, handing me the jacket while smiling like there is no tomorrow.
Now where am I? Oh still on the street. I cursed myself for told her to not speak too much. I can't ask her about her job and where's the place. Well, I'll just following then. After a couple minutes walk, she entered a building that guarded by two big guy at the front door.
"She's my friend." Yuko said to the guards and point her thumb at me.
I smiled a little and follows Yuko inside.
Wondering what is this place.............
"Here we are." She took my hand and dragged me further inside.
Eehhh??! What is this place??!
So.....the 'job' that she mentioned before is................
Eeeeeeeehhhhhh???!!!
