The Sugaya Risako Thread (菅谷梨沙子)

I think it's so sick to fantasise with such a young girl.
I swear I will start trimming or deleting posts if my fav kid thread gets messed up this way.

Finally I had a time to watch both the PB and DVD. Overall, better than I expected in a totally positive way. Knowing how mad is people on U-15 girls and their so criticized PBs, I did not want UFA to spoil Risako's cuteness and turn it into a dark side. Thanks Heaven it did not happen (Except from some poses that I don't think that suit Risako's age). Big percentage of the pictures are all about cuteness. This PB has been surrounded of a bad aura and some prejudices, I think. It turns out to be just like the continuation of any set of Berryz pictures in the summer. Now I mention Berryz... You can see worse outfits and poses in BK concerts than what Risako does here. Still, I repeat there are some pictures that were unnecessary, but I guess they have to please every target. Please, don't have a weird mind and look at this PB as a set of cuteness coming from an ace member.

As for the DVD, which is the one that has more risk to be wrong, it's all about Risako being cute and smiling all the time. She talks and she's cute again. I've only watched it once and I probably won't watch it anymore. I don't get Japanese, and I don't know why would I have to look to a Making Of twice. I don't feel like it. But if someone is mad over it, then you might have a problem. I just wanted to see if she enjoyed it, and this DVD claims out she had fun, which is the point when you are at her age. She really transmits a peaceful feeling. GJ Risako!

I feel kinda icky looking at the bikini pictures. Mostly because I just don't want to see that on a 12 year old (particularly sticking her backside out). But the great majority of the book I think is gorgeous. The shots, the settings, her outfits. In general it turned out a lot better than I was expecting.

But still. Who do I have to kill to get a Maimi PB?

Let's steer this thread into nicer waters.  

What is your favorite image in the entire PB?  

I've noted how several pictures were extremely cute.  But my favorite image is the 4th photo from the beginning:
 

In this photograph, she has just woken up from a refreshing afternoon nap at her school.  Her expression is very neutral.  In later pictures, where's she's presumably on vacation she'll have a happy expression on her face.  But here, there is nothing on her expression - she gazes at the observer with a blank stare, the stare of a person who has just naturally woken from a dreamless sleep.  That blank stare isn't cute, nor is it beautiful, but it's honest.  That girl has no guile in her character, and wears no mask.  It's just her, and nothing else.

Technically, the image is perfect.  Look at the way the light passes through her left ear.  The way the rear highlights reflect off her hair.  The way the the soft light from the window hits her white shirt.  The way the shadows on the left side of her face are so subtly lit.  The way the alignment of her shoulders and the shape of her tie guide your eyes toward her face.  The natural look of her make up.  I love this photograph.

I like her posture here and her face's expression. She looks like she has some mischief in mind or something. Very cute!

This became my favorite the moment I saw it. She's reading a letter while leaning on what seems to be a beam of a house. I like it becasue I can't extract what she's feeling.

Usually seeing someone leaning on a wall, or just leaning on something, gives an impression of relief,uneasiness,losing hope, etc. Feelings can be read through the eyes of the lips but in this picture, there's a hint of happiness in her eyes but her lips are neutral.

The letter. What does it say? Who is it from? Is it a love letter or a letter of rejection? Was it love that she's feeling? It's a mystery. There are a lot of other  pictures in the PB that caught my eye, but this is it.

after seeing some of the bikinis pics again, i didn't find her.."hot"...but cute...i really wonder why...i can't really explain it...maybe because it is surrounded by all those cute pics...and because i know she is 12...

I found her really really cute...and kinda reminds me of younger aibon...it makes me wanna draw her...i'm not a big fan of her but i think this is the only one i'm going to keep.

In general I really liked the ballerina idea, and even though this shows the least of the costume she's looking so cute and mischievous. It actually makes her look a little younger I think, but I think she somehow looks better this way.



This is only half the image, but I love her smile on this one and the coloring. It has a really "Risako having fun on a summer day" kind of feeling...... Plus she's just cute.



This one is pretty plain, and you might not even be able to tell thats its Risako (except for her pale skin maybe), but I the picture is somehow very pretty and the way she's standing and holding the shoe, poring the water out is very cute. I like to think I'd be able to tell it's her (though honestly I probably couldn't have if I'd only seen this image...... or maybe I could )
