If I'm not mistaken, he said she designed it herself and that you could pull the lower part of the dress off to change it into a more 'casual' (shorter) dress that she used for the reception.

Japan really should promote female celebs with babies like Nono, what with the lowering birth rate and all. What better way to trick women into wanting babies than showing them a cute example. There's no better time than now to support women having babies, even if they were idols at the time, and I'm glad Nono seems to have got lots of support from her agency...

I noticed that Nono was taken off the Ameba geinou blog rankings list and given some position at the top of the rankings box.  Is this just so someone else can be in the top spot?

Probably. Nono's blog has now been placed into something like the "Hall of Fame" for Ameblo. There are only a few blogs featured in this HOF thing, and the links for them rotate so you can see the most popular blogs over the last few years. Shokotan's blog is part of this list, so Nono's in good company.

My Nono story: I was watching an utaban episode where they were separate into four groups and they did the frontal assault on Yaguchi which made me laugh.

My Nono story: Like my Mini Moni story, didn't care much for her at first...but shit, with her whole body of work in H!P compared to these H!P Kids, she's like truly legendary. Pulling pranks, meeting James Brown. That was hilarious when she had to zip up her pants as they were jump roping. Nono isn't afraid to do whatever. Good for her she became a great mom, I'm glad she's back pimping and making money. Hopefully we can see 4th Generation back together again.

My Nono story: I learned of her via Minimoni and Surprise English Lessons, and thus she was one of the first Morning Musume members that had my attention. "Do It! Now" was the first MM song I got into, and I remember watching the PV thinking how she looked so out of place in such a dimly lit video singing a serious song. Like daigong, I couldn't quite appreciate her at first, but eventually I grew to like her more due to her 4th gen associations and general shenanigans, especially on Mechaike. I would also get shocked when I look at the various points of her career and how much she's changed, like it's obvious it's the same person yet she always looked so different in each era. The fact that she's a wife and mother now trips me out sometimes--she beat Yuko to the punch, for crying out loud!
Favorite thing(s) about Nono: I love how she has no qualms about acting a fool. Embracing the Bakajo title, crying over food, the Ganko family...she puts herself on the spot and creates memorable moments. I'm also impressed by the surprising amount of strength and athleticism she has for someone her size (i.e. TFP wall crash, Okajo sports festival, playing goalie for the soccer team).

Other comments: It's kinda funny...when it comes to the groups she's primarily associated with--4th gen, Minimoni, W--I always end up pegging her as my least favorite member of said groups. Even with the official "Furusato" cover versions (with Yaguchi, Ai-chan and Risa), hers was my least favorite. But don't get me wrong, she only loses by default due to the company she's in...she's definitely one of the standout graduates regardless, and nothing can top her epic status of being the Bakajo of H!P.

My Nono story: The first H!P member I liked was Kago and I noticed Minimoni because of her and, naturally, I noticed Tsuji as well. She became one of my favorite members, but after she got pregnant and went on hiatus, she started to drop in my rankings because I hadn't "seen" her in forever. When she came back, though, I got interested in her a lot again, and she ended up climbing all the way to #4 on my rankings. (She's actually #5 now, but I still like her. )
Favourite thing(s) about Nono: I love how silly she is. During the H!M skits, she always had on the funniest expressions on her face (mainly in the Ganko skits), and I couldn't stop laughing because they were so funny. I also like how mature she's gotten since having Noa. She's still a bit silly, but she's grown up a lot. She's a really caring and wonderful mother and I admire her a lot for that.
