For screencaps, I just use Media Player Classic. It has an option for a single frame:

as well as summary thumbnails:

If it's not capturing images correctly, change the "output" settings to something other than the overlay mixer:

Ah, I see. Thanks for the info.

When I saw that scene in the episode I could not stop smiling for the longest time. It was just too cute. The combo of KonKon , that pink dress, the bear, the "washa washa" and the bouncing up and down was a total cuteness knockout.

This is my current wallpaper, it has been for months. I should go back and redo it now that I have photoshop I guess (and get rid of the odd purple 'outline').

Since I have a widescreen monitor, I like to use high-res double-page spreads from PBs.

Before the Alo-Hello, I was using this, from her 1st PB. Uses the widescreen space quite nicely.

Now I have this one. I like it a lot more, mostly because it has a cool blue as the main color instead of the darker colors in the first one.

You can tell from the file sizes that "high-res" is no exaggeration. They're not as fancy or customized as some other wallpapers, but really, they don't need to be. I don't need any words or fancy effects when I have Konkon.

This episode starts with a pep talk from the coach before the tournament. Next is their pregame warmup, starting with some passing, shooting, and stopping practice.

At this point, there's a visible difference between Konno's and Tsuji's goalkeeping. Even in this warmup, you can see Konno doing more advanced moves than Tsuji.

But how did Konno gain such an edge?

Practice. Lots of practice.

Like many of the other Gatas girls, Konno doesn't like to lose. In the 2005 Sports fest, Yajima Maimi beat Konno in the 10km race. The next year, Konno made sure that no one else came close to her. She even lapped some of the other girls twice! When she's determined to do something, you can bet she'll work her hardest to accomplish it. In tomorrow's clip, you'll see that she takes her practice very seriously.

I was so impressed with Konkon in the 2006 10km race. She smoked everyone, including Maimi. She looked so serious during it to, you can tell she wanted to win.
