Luckily for Konkon, employment-wise she's now set where she doesn't really have to worry about getting FRIDAY'd. After all, while it's not uncommon to see idols (being forced to) quit because they were caught/discovered to be in a relationship, a TV news network would gain nothing but bad press if they had that policy with their (female) employees.
Can't help but wonder about a couple of things though:
a) does/did the guy already know of her when she was still in MM?, and if so...
b) does he have/did he ever buy her PBs? 
Those make me go "Awwww" coz she looks cute w/ the glasses in the 1st shot and the 2nd is like a cliche scene in an anime.
It makes me go "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww" for Konkon, especially since she was considered by some to be the "non-cute" one when she and the other Gokkies first joined MM. It's like, there's the stigma that the "non-cute" girl would be the last (if ever) to get a BF/be in a serious relationship, so yeah, it's definitely something that makes one happy for her.
As far as the guy is concerned...I'd say he's yet another to join the "lucky bastage" club.
Supposedly, he's also from Keio U. and works at a restaurant consulting firm. That's almost too perfect. 
Dude must be serious about being with Konkon.
