Contrary to what some might believe, Hello!Ongaku DID go on-air tonight. I would personally like to emphasise here and now that even if there is no DJ talking on-air, Hello!Ongaku is NOT "just the radio server".

Kuno_Thunder takes TIME out of his life and his troubles to come up with the playlist. He faithfully does this EVERY SINGLE WEEK without fail. And to what purpose is all his time and effort for? So that the show can go on without a hitch, that if anything happens, those of us standing in will know what to do. And most importantly. It's so that you, the listener, will have something to share and enjoy WITH us every single week.

There is always at least one person talking on Hello!Ongaku. Every single week. There is always at least one person there to make sure that the show goes on without fail. Every single week. And we do it even if it means having to return home earlier from Saturday outings or for some of us to just go without sleep till later. This is EFFORT which we put in. Every single week.

This week. All we asked is that you spare us that tiny little bit of patience for this ONE SINGLE SHOW to share the music and the time with us, WITHOUT us talking. Surely we have been doing or at least have done enough ALL these past weeks to deserve that tiny bit of forebearance from you? That we don't get demanded to talk when circumstances are such that we cannot do so even if we wanted to? That we don't get dismissed simply because there isn't anyone talking?

Even the radio server deserves more than a mere dismissal of it as being "just the radio server". Someone actually has to take the time out to put music into the server. That same someone has to ALSO take the time out to make sure that the server stays running so that you can enjoy music whenever you want 24/7, on your demand. That takes TIME. That takes EFFORT.

I, for one, was enjoying the radio.  I'm sorry that the atmosphere in the irc had to be so negative towards you with you taking the time to put on the show despite your lack of sleep.

*HUGGLEZ Suki*  Sorry for not being able to be there tonight =/

Suki is right... people sometimes don't realize how much effort is put into this ... Whenever we're not able to host, it's for a good reason. It isnt cause we are lazy, or cause we don't want to do the show. Just to give you an example, let's take why Suki had to host alone tonight:

I had a university (PhD level) examination today from 9 am till evening. If you think I was REALLY tired when I got out from it, you're right. I could barely think straight after it, so I had to go rest, and therefore couldn't be on H!O to host it.

Tris had to move from her apartment and currently has no place to live. She obviously cannot make a magical house appear to host H!O.

Kuno made the playlist, which he does every single week for us, but had some issues to deal with and couldn't host the show.

Tenkei, who also kindly helps us by hosting often, had company at home tonight, and therefore couldn't host.

Suki was kind enough to host the show tonight, but she hadn't slept in 25 hrs and had tons of work to do, and therefore couldn't do the talking between song blocks.

In summary, we are not teenagers with tons of time to spare. We are all adults working hard day and night all week. None of us even has the weekends completely free. And even when we do have free saturdays, we choose to stay to host H!O instead of going out to relax. If some night, the hosts aren't there or aren't talking, there IS a reason why. So please, try to be more understanding and think twice before making someone feel bad cause they're not able to host or talk one night...
