I was watching the Sexy 8 Beat concert and I kept thinking that Miki was taller than everyone else even though she's comparatively short . She's very slender despite having no curves.
Miki-sama just has that presence about her. She might be on the short side, but she carries it so very well. :yep:

^ Quite often when Japanese celebrities are involved in and/or end relationships, both sides will issue an official statement through their respective management companies. If there's no statement, it's probably a safe assumption that they're still dating. When Mari broke up with Oguri Shun last year, an announcement was made so that everyone knew that they were no longer together (though there was wide speculation as to the real reasons why).  There might be some that choose/try to keep these types of things private, but usually the tabloids/media manage to find out about it eventually.

It isn't very likely that we'll know (either way) unless a statement is issued or one of the tabloids report it.

I don't think that Miki would just get stuck doing small things after GAM, because honestly, she's a much better singer than Mari. I mean, usually if there's talent that could possibly make you a lot of money, you don't want to throw that away. :/

Miki wouldn't, that's for sure. The question, and potential problem is whether or not she'll get any offers for stuff. You can be the most talented person in the world, but if no one is willing to hire you or work with you, you're pretty much screwed.

Personally I'm pretty confident that if it were strictly up to Tsunku, we'll still see a lot Miki. However the stuffed shirts at UFA are the ones with most of the influence, so right now we've no way of knowing if she'll be doing anything else outside of GAM and her DokiMiki Night radio show.

What the hell, it's been a couple of days, I'm gonna double-post.

Anyways, I just spent the last 3 and a half hours going through all of the Miki pics that are on the picboard over at H!O. It was like...200 pages! (And this was AFTER I did the "search" function so that it would only show me Miki's pics):dizzy:

Soooooooooooooooooo much Miki-sama!  :luvluv1: :imdead:  :mon angel:

^ Sounds like heaven.

Anyway, I still support Miki and probably always will. I've never agreed with the strict "No boyfriends!" rule, because it's absolutely silly. UFA is the only agency that is strict about it, but I guess that fans are that demanding? They are not much of "fans" if they can't support Miki's choices. Happy choices at that. (Unless she used the scandal to get out, but there are other ways to get out.)

Comparing her to Mari, she has one thing Mari did not: a former solo career. Now, I don't know if that will make a big difference, especially since there is some confusion amongst many fans, but we do know that she held a large fanbase and still holds a good one. Also, I'm not saying that she has more fans or even more talent than Mari, but in my eyes, she deserves a good career if that's what she wants. I can't say for sure, but Mari is doing what she wants and it's not horrible exposure. She's the most active older graduate I've seen . . .

Quick story.  So something like a month and a half ago I bought a bunch of stuff from Himalia that he had in his Himalian Vaults thread. One of those items was a Miki phone strap from the Sexy 8 Beat Tour. (BTW, thanks again Himalia :thumbsup)

Anyway, about a week after I purchased those items from him, I found a dude on eBay who was selling (dun duh duh DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!) A MIKI PHONE STRAP from the Sexy 8 Beat Tour. Naturally, first thing that came to mind was "One is nice, but TWO is nicer!" :yep:  I contact the guy, we email each other a few times...blah, blah, blah,...and at my front door earlier this afternoon stands the postal worker, who is asking for my signature so I can receive my SECOND Miki phone strap!!!

And yes, there be pics (NB. in both pics, the strap on the RIGHT is the one I bought from Himalia, the strap on the left is from the eBay dude):

With camera flash | Without camera flash

Next questions obviously are "Why did I buy the second one?" and "What am I going to do with them?"

Well truth be told, if the circumstances were right (i.e. if they were available and if I had the money to spare) I would have probably bought as many Miki straps as I could get my hands on. Heh heh, "Miki straps." Even THAT sounds ecchi. Anyway, for now they're both going into storage/safe-keeping. :pimp:  I'm planning on treating myself and buying myself a new cell phone (preferably a cool smartphone) either this coming Xmas or next year on my (and Miki's) shared Bday. ;D One of the straps will proudly adorn said new phone, while the other stays in it's package, in as pristine a condition as I'm able to keep it.

Thank you...and good night!  :shakeit:

Except for mine (:P), all Miki-Haikus came from here: http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=7011.0
Hope the Commandant doesn't mind, but I took a wee bit of artistic license with the one on the top of the right-hand column and tweaked it juuuuuuuuuust a little bit..

~I just finished Sexy8Beat ...
Miki looks like a princess in that dress she sings Osananajimi

Something I notice ...
Miki didn't cry when she gave the graduation message, but when Yossi started to sing the song ... I can see her eyes started to get all watery  :O

XD She tried to hold back those tears ... how cute

It's been a couple days, so I'm gonna double-post. :wahaha:

Anyway, I just listened to this past Monday's episode of DokiMiki Night (2007.07.16). During the first few minutes of the show, Miki starts to play "Ichaicha Summer", when all of a sudden the song stops and some woman's voice comes on and starts talking about something. Now I obviously have no idea what was being said here, so I'm wondering if anyone who can understand Japanese could fill me in? For some reason I'm thinking it might have been some announcement about the earthquake in Niigata?

I think it was about the earthquake. The time matched up.
