i think the first was mysterious cities of gold, saber rider, robin hood, heidi, rock´n roll kids, attack no. 1 etc.
there are many old animes when I was young
they are all so good
now nobody remember this old stuff and all you can see in german is pokemon & yu gi oh!
not the best anime...

I don't actually remember what the first anime I ever watched was called. I've tried finding it, but never succeeded. It was a lot like Gundam, with the characters being space pilots who went in mobile suits. Only thing I can really remember is when two guys were fighting over a girl and then I think one of them got thrown into space. Fun.

The first ones that I can remember would have to be Pokemon and Sailor Moon. My childhood fantasies wouldn't have existed if it weren't for Misty. White lace lingerie anyone?

The first anime I watched is...Pokemon. Watched the first episode when it first came out in Japan. Still a fan but I have not watched the anime just been playing the games more.

Then it was others were like Crayon Shin-chan, Digimon, Doraemon, and other anime you would see a lot growing up in Japan

. Like ones even your grandparents would know.

The first anime I ever watched was Gigantor (aka Tetsujin28) on an old black and white tv with rabbit ears and 2 channel dials 1 (for VHF and 1 for UHF). I think I was 3 at the time.

The first subtitled anime I ever saw were fansubbed VHS tapes of Kimagure Orange Road.

God, I feel old now.

The first ones I saw were probably Digimon or something of that variety. I caught the English version of Escaflowne when it aired here on Saturday mornings - then DBZ - then Inuyasha and Rurouni Kenshin and stuff like that on Saturday nights.

Before I really got into anime I think the first shows that I watched as a kid were Voltron, Samurai Pizza Cats, Ronin Warriors, Dragonball, Sailor Moon, Teknoman, Pokemon and Digimon and that was when network channels showed cartoons early in the morning. *sigh* The good old days.
