I haven't used IRC in years... I re-installed mIRC (the only IRC client I've ever used) on my desktop (runs windows XP) and no problems there... Went to install it on my laptop (which is a mac - OS X), and found out that mIRC isn't compatible for mac... So installed Ircle for the mac, and as I'm trying to familiarize myself with it, I realize that I've forgotten the password to my RP character nick... >_< And to think that I just registered it yesterday...

Anyway, I figured my password out after getting attacked by NickServ a few times (forgot that I had capitalized a letter). The layout's very different on the Mac client, and I haven't really had the chance to chat with anyone on it yet, so we'll see how my Mac IRCing goes.

Y'all can't get on using Java IRC? Just hit "chat" at the top there.

The latest thing is using Opera browser too. Fun icons.

I used to be crazy into IRC, and before I got started with torrents, I got almost ALL of my H!P stuff from IRC (though I can't remember the server or chatroom for the life of me.... >_<

^ I just tried the Java IRC. There should be some buttons on the top, one of which says "Channels" or something like that. If you go there, it lists a bunch of channels and the RP channel is in the list.

Nope, the JAVA IRC goes to the Spacetronix server, and I put the RPG one there too. So no messing with settings.

Just wondering, are we gonna have a character list for easy character reference? I think I remember Daisu asking daigong about moving it back to over here from the classic section, but it seems to not have arrived.

Also, will there be a character profile thread (I noticed you guys had it for the last RP)?

I'm posting Miya's stats after this post... Do you guys think that using the profiles page from the previous RP will get confusing, seeing as some ppl have changed characters and others aren't playing anymore?

And I do hope that if this meeting starts tomorrow (since it looks like more people will be posting soon) I'm around... >_< It's snowing like crazy over here for me (about 30 or so centimetres so far, and more on the way overnight) and I got stranded at my cousin's. They obviously have internet, but I don't know how often I'll be on... This is one of the worst snowstorms seen in my area since the 1970's. I don't know if I'll even be able to get home tomorrow... (Though that may mean a snow day from work on Monday...

)
