Woman takes stand in hearing against husband

A woman told a judge Tuesday her husband forced her to eat his feces before he’d let her visit a doctor for treatment of a kidney infection.

He sounds like a major asshole from the descprtion in the news article.  Still I wonder if she put up with his shit (no pun intended) because of the opportunity to leave China and live in North America.  
 
When people get involved in relationships with alterior motives (his to find a submissive woman where he could assert power and control...and hers a woman in her late 30's from China meeting an American offering her marrige and a new life in a free society) things can get very twisted.  I have heard other fucked up stories like this one with older men and foreign brides.
