Watched Bonnie and Clyde (1967) and Eternal Sunshine in a double feature. Bonnie and Clyde had its moments and Eternal Sunshine was amazing.

Quick thoughts on (semi)recent movies:

Rio 7.5/10
- Surprisingly nice! Excellent animation, nice atmosphere and I actually lolled a couple of times.

The Green Hornet 5.5/10
- Surprisingly bad. I always thought Seth Rogen was sorta funny, but now I realize he can only do one thing. The movie wasn't interesting at all and it left me with a bad feeling.

Machete 8/10
- AWESOME. Great over the top action/fun.

PotC: On Stranger Tides 6/10
- Even though I like it better than At World's End, it is painfully bad at times. The way they forced in some references to the previous movies was horrible. No Keira either and I never cared for Cruz either. That Blackbeard character wasn't scary at all. The best part of this movie were the mermaids.

Cars 2 7.5/10
- A plot about alternative fuel that children won't care about and a protagonist that doesn't appeal to adults that much. Barely any character development, but full of chases and ...gun fights. Gorgeous animation and plenty of funny stereotypes and cameos, but this movie seems like a missed opportunity for something truly great. It doesn't come anywhere near the quality of the original Cars.

Hot Tub Time Machine 7.5/10
- A lot of people hyped this, but I never checked it out. It was surprisingly entertaining and my style of humor.

Mr. Popper's Penguins 6.5/10
- Good old clean and family fun. A bit safe and predictable, but aw well.

Kung Fu Panda 2 7.5/10
- Surprisingly good! I may even prefer it over the first one.

Another 'Rambo: Last Stand' Screenplay Has Been Written, Submitted

He's not dead yet! Even though there have been continuous ups and downs regarding the rumored Rambo V, word is it may be alive in some way. FEARnet (via Empire) recently interviewed writer Sean Hood (Conan the Barbarian, Cube 2) who revealed that he has submitted his screenplay for Rambo: Last Stand to Millennium. Over the years, a follow-up to Sylvester Stallone's 2008 Rambo has been developing in many forms, as a sci-fi film called Savage Hunt at one point, but this is their latest take and who knows what will happen. The good news is that Hood actually met with Stallone to help work on crafting the script.

Empire spoke with Hood as well, who told them, "I met with Mr Stallone twice last year. He gave me a book, an older screenplay, and about twenty pages he'd written himself to use as inspiration for the last chapter of the Rambo saga." He wouldn't divulge any details, but did say "it's more in line with the small-town thriller of First Blood." Very interesting. Hood isn't sure how soon it'll happen, or if at all, but as expected, Millennium is still exploring the idea and getting scripts. "Hopefully, Mr. Stallone will eventually have the time and the inclination to do another Rambo," he says. Hood elaborates on his involvement:

"As of now, I don't know whether Mr Stallone will actually do it. Right now, as I understand it, he has his hands full with Bullet to the Head and Expendables 2. But Millennium films did hire me to complete the screenplay and realise his story, and my hope is that he'll eventually be inspired to do one more Rambo film, with the tone of Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven."

Okay, now that sounds pretty damn cool, or at least like it has the potential to be awesome. But of course, with the success of The Expendables, Stallone's hands are full elsewhere, he's even moved on to other action projects. Speaking of which, in the FEARnet interview, Hood mentions this, too: "I also did some rewrites on another Robert E. Howard project, which will hopefully be propelled into production by the success of Conan. I've also done several original drafts of an upcoming Hercules film." Success is yet to be seen - this very weekend - but interesting to hear there's a lot going on (and this guy has a lot of work). I'm most intrigued in Rambo, as I'd like to see that work out, but who knows if it's any good.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Other than such a long title with small words, it was perfect. And I don't say that much.

I want a sequel... like now~ :nervous
Let's call it "Evolution of the Rise of the Beginning of the Fall of the Planet of the Apes".

I ended up seeing this movie Tangled the other day and holy shit where did this come from!? It was INCREDIBLY entertaining. Dare I say..... better than Toy Story 3 and How To Train Your Dragon?? >_> Gotta love Maximus the horse and damn, the old cupid dude gets me every time. Best facial expressions ever. Songs were actually really good too, especially that I've Got A Dream one.

This bold statement compelled to watch Tangled, and I did.

Good:
- The animations were top notch. Some awesome sceneries and visual throughout the movie.
- Good clean fun. The chameleon was by far my fav character. lol
- The background music really added a lot  :thumbup

Less good:
- It was SO Disney. The styling of the characters, the plot, the songs.. omg the songs... Everything was so over the top corny and sweet it hurt my teeth a little.
- This movie enforces so many stereotypes... but then again, it's a Disney movie and fairytale, so I guess that was to be expected.

Rapunzel looked pretty hot on her 18th birthday  Maybe that's why they added this hidden message.

For me, this movie doesn't come anywhere near How to Train Your Dragon, but I'm glad I watched it anyway. Nice visuals, some humor and some nice songs make for a pretty decent movie .

edit: my fav expression in the movie:

-----

Btw, I'd love to see a creepy stop motion Tim Burton version of this movie  XD

Hall Pass - 6/10

Not the funniest movie ever made as my friend made it out to be, but enjoyable.

just got home from watching Driver, and 50/50.

Driver was allright, Christina Hendricks had a small part, but really enjoyable to watch.
50/50 was great not as much humor as they made out but very enjoyable and highly recomened

^ Kinda agree with Drive but enjoyable is debatable. It certainly captured my attention and I went in thinking I might fall asleep. Was super tired that day. I really like the underlying tension even though it feels there's just a lot of staring between characters in the beginning.

The Thing was absolutely amazing. Good fun, you should definitely go watch it if you can.

Here's all the Norwegian actors gathered for the Norwegian premiere.

.... but how do we know they're human?
