It's not a new movie and I've seen it a dozen or so times but a new DVD of Kurosawa Akira's "Seven Samurai" will be released next week by the Voyager Company, the folks that make the esteemed "Criterion Collection" of discs.

One of the few times I don't mind double-dipping.

Superman returns, Miami Vice running now, but drive 50km just for a film...

OK, thats enough for this year, most films I have to dl and watch home, no money for always driving to Dresden for cinema. I can do this only, when a old schoolfriend comes home for weekend fom studying.

What I am really looking forward is the realfilm of Battle Angel Alita(Gunnm).

I can't really think of any upcoming films that particularly catch my interest aside from Spiderman 3, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, and Borat! Oh, and Sukeban Deka, naturally.

Actually looking at a list of upcoming films, I see Martin Scorsese's latest film is a remake of sorts of Infernal Affairs. So I'll probably watch that, but I can tell already it won't be anywhere near as good as the original.

I wouldn't say "Looking foward to it", but I have to see DOA sometime soon. So horrible it's good, is what I'm hoping for, not just horrible.
