 the vid was awesome.

AMT was never really about the "music" it was all about experimenting with the sounds to produce some kind of spiritual connection to it. That's what psychedelic music is all about, really. You don't listen to it, you feel that shit. Helps to have a bag of reefer or shrooms on hand though :P

I wrote a long ass iinihon wiki article on them a couple years ago and did a bit of research. AMT is pretty much Makoto Kawabata and whole bunch of hippies collaborating with him to make "music"

On a non-AMT note, I was checking my last.fm recommendation and I still have 酸素十倍 (sanso jubai) really high up and I have not been able to find anything on them apart from the fact they are on the Zankyo artist page...

I have their only(?) release, though I've got the CD at home as well as the rip on my original computer, so unfortunately I won't be able to upload it at the moment.

It's too bad they disbanded without releasing much.

I wasn't sure if the disbanding was official, I just saw "酸素十倍 (RIP)" on some webpage. I just thought it was strange they are still on the Zankyo artist page if they did disband. Maybe they have some CDs to shift? Thanks for uploading, I will give them a listen after Heroes  :w00t:

No problem :)

@Ayabie
Do you remember if you got -by any chance- the 4 track version of ザッツオール?
I don't know why but 2 versions came out, one with 3 songs (the one I uploaded) and one with 4 songs, in which the additional one is "Dynamic D".

Yeah I do.

It's incredibly good.

How did you find out about them anyway? They're super obscure for some reason.

New wave/Post-punk/Pop. Probably one of the best albums released in 2007. I lurve them so much.

This is taken directly from their MySpace.

- About bahAMaba

since 1996 in tokyo Japan. We want you to hear our sound. We want you to watch a show. We want to communicate. STOP, and WORK. suddenly GO, and suddenly STOP. We still make a sound all the time.

Doesn't really say anything about them, but I'd say they have math-rock influenced tunes.

Wow, i did not kow that 酸素十倍 disbanded.  That really sucks.  They're one of those bands where you haven't listen to them after a while and when you do go back to listening, you're stuck on them for a good week or two till you discovered something else.

Side note: is there a certain number of posts I have to make before I can get access to those blocked threads?  Don't really want to just spam the forums though to reach post counts.   :-\

Some of the tracks have vocals, and others just instrumental.  Overall, a good album to relax too.

Finally found downy's "山茶花" (sazanka), a song coupled to a live DVD, titled "無題" (mudai, untitled) as usual.

(so you know which mudai this is from)

If anyone wants other albums by downy, don't hesitate to ask~
