yea...i didn't even notice she said "aaron" at first. i thought she called him eric and then it cut to LOST (the end) and i was like "thats it?! theres gotta be more than that" so i rewinded it and realized she said "aaron" haha. i wonder why jack wouldnt want to see aaron anyway. is it because it brings up bad memories of claire or something?

That episode was blah.  Sayid makes it out of whatever will happen since he is one of the Oceanic 6

Ha, I thought she called the baby "Erin" and it ended and I was like huh? Why is that a cliffhanger?  I only realised when I read something on a forum.

Apparently the writers said that we'll know who all of the Oceanic 6 are by the 7th episode.

Some clips of next weeks episode.  Don't watch them if you don't want to be spoilered!  Sneak peek#2 gives a very major piece of information!

WAAAAHH?!?! :o What a curveball right at the end! So that's the 'him' that Kate said she needed to get back to. Something must happen to Claire then, seeing as how Jack is reluctant to see him as well :( It's definately Aaron and not SKATE's baby, for one thing Aaron has blonde hair, Kate and Sawyer's is dark.

Next weeks looks really interesting (when is it not?) and I think Shirenu will like it very much! Good point raised earlier though, I suppose there is no tension with Sayid's safety as he's one of the 6.

what was with "the constant"? that episode is just making me more confused. i'm not sure if i liked it. it was a good episode but i think it was the weakest desmond episode so far.

It reminded me of Slaughterhouse-Five, where the main character is said to be 'unstuck in time' (in fact, that is precisely how 1996 Faraday describes Desmond's condition).  An interesting footnote is that Vonnegut's character became that way after surviving a plane crash...Although that's not the case with Desmond, I think it's reasonable to assume that they were referencing that particular novel for the story of this episode.

Nice catch Fracture. It thought it was a great episode - touching and semi-revealing. Desmond is one of my favorite characters, so it was nice to have his episode too. It also made me like like Faraday, who I didn't before.

You don't think Ghost Whisperer Miles is somewhat interesting.  Last I checked Locke left him with a grenade in the mouth!  I guess Faraday had either visited the island or constant experimenting put him in flux.  He has to use Desmond to keep him planted in the past and present.  Remember he was trying to memorize the cards with the chick in the last episode

i dont like miles. his power is interesting. it'd be cool if he'd talk to the dead members of the original dharma initiative so that we could learn more about their story, but i really find miles to be annoying and wouldn't mind if he died off.

Yeah, Miles is too much of an asshole to be likable. Faraday at least seems to have some altruistic motives.

Great episode.  I might even go as far as to say it's my favourite episode of the whole series so far.

Great episode! Finally Desmond and Penny got in touch! Really like Faraday's character, and Frank's as well. Yeh Miles is an asshole but they can't all be good guys. Besides, they are here on this island for a reason. Which I believe may even be revealed next week, judging by the preview  :o :o :o

Or is it too little? ;)

Just thinking about the episode again and there's something I remember that needed clarifying. Desmond didn't remember anyone from the island when he was suffering from the time travel correct? And island Faraday told Desmond to meet him when he was back in 1996. My question is, how was Desmond able to recognise him so quickly? Hope it wasn't just me!

http://www.dlisted.com/node/24303 Matthew Fox talks about breaking the law.
"This isn’t an invention, it’s a responsibility. We need to study this, and if we find that it will help mankind move peacefully forward, then we shall share it’s teachings, because we are not only men of science, we are men of hope."

Well, it did look pretty similar. Desmond might also have seen his pic on a factually webpage, asked someone off camera, etc. I don't find it implausible.

The time-travel will be interesting though - lots of paradoxes already.

^ damon and carlton (the producers/writers of lost) have said that they're avoiding paradoxes. so i'm pretty sure desmond's conscience travels to different time periods, but he doesn't actually change the past or anything.

damon lindelof also said this about the upcoming seasons.

"Season 4 is about who gets off the island and the fact that they need to get back. Season 5 is about why they need to get back, and season 6 is about what happens when they get back."
