Naveen Andrews talks about his upcoming Sayid-centric episode and it even threw him for a loop when he read the script

Slight spoilers, or I dunno, maybe? Don't read if you want to be completely left in the dark until the next episode but it didn't upset me and I'm very much anti-spoiler. Anyway, about this upcoming episode. Can. Not. Wait.

Can. Not. Wait.

Only 54 hours to go! XD

I'll avoid the article for now and read it after the episode on Thursday.

http://www.thetailsection.com/lost-news/carlton-cuse-says-lost-season.php

Quote
In a recent chat with Variety, Lost showrunner Carlton Cuse explained the plan for the remainder of season 4.  Due to the fact that they won't have time to craft eight more episodes, the plan is to complete five more episodes and tack three more on to season 5 of the series.  This will bring the total of episodes in season 4 to 13.

Cuse admitted that some stories will have to be condensed, but he also said that they will be able to complete season 4's storyline in the remaining episodes.  "We're going to try to make as many as we can and do a good job of finishing out this season," Cuse said. " We'll have to compress some of the storytelling we planned for this season, and that may not be a bad thing.  Damon and I feel like we know how we can finish it off and still make it a really, really great story."

Overall, this is great news.  We may not get a full 16 episodes this season, but the story will wrap up and leave us with 19 episodes in season 5.  It's a good day for Lost fans.

Yay! Thanks for the update Fracture!

The episodes are already pretty packed, so it'll be interesting to see how much more can be crammed in there.

I feel sorry for her. Allergies suck!

Tonight's was a good episode. All about Sayid (as was predicted). It'll be interesting to see how Sayid and Ben's relationship develops given what we now know about how it turns out.

Oh man I thought this episode was AWESOME!!!

A lot of WTF moments, starting with Sayid SHOOTING that man at golf course!!

FINALLY a Sayid-centric episode, and he looked SMOKING HOT!!!

And the end!! OMG Sayid working for Ben!! AMAZING

They totally took Sayid's character to a whole new direction, and I love it!

I edited the thread title to "season 4 discussion", hopefully then nobody who hasn't seen the episodes will come here and read the spoilers accidentally... n__n;;

So the confirmed Oceanic 6 are- Jack, Sayid, Hurley.
Ben and Kate are off the Island.

So Ben has a list of people Sayid is killing to protect the rest of the survivors.  And Sayid will make a mistake he will regret.  Hurley regrets siding with Locke, too.  The 6 have a "secret".

Sayid has no competition in the badass department since Eko died.  Him and Des on the newcomers' boat should be interesting, maybe we'll see some more neck-snappin' and find out who Ben's spy is.

I wonder when this flash-forward happens relative to the S3 finale...Knowing that Ben left the island might explain who was in that coffin and why Kate was so apathetic about it.

Oh yeah, what are the rest of The Others doing now?  I guess they don't give a damn about rescuing Ben (again)?

I wonder if Sayid is somehow tied to the coffin? Somebody he killed, ... or Sayid himself? DUNDUNDUN

Well it could be anyone, seeing as WE DON'T *KNOW* PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING

That's possible.

"Sayid has no competition in the badass department since Eko died."

Locke's been pretty badass too. Oh look, I've been shot in the chest. Oh well, it didn't hit anything. ;)

Sawyer's always been the island's badass IMO. Remember when he killed the real Sawyer? Although that's not taking away from Sayid, Locke, Jack and Jin (yes, Jin! I said it!)

Loved the episode last night, really shocking from the get-go (Sayid WTF?!). So Sayid's one of the 6, already consisting of Jack, Kate, Hurley and Ben. But the more I think about it, I don't think Kate would be recognised as one of the 6 as she's a wanted criminal, so she probably hides her identity somehow to avoid detection. And I don't think Ben is either as it would appear he can leave the island at any point and has already done so I think (the submarine and the numerous passports from last night kinda strengthen this). Also, presuming the person in the coffin isn't Ben, that would be someone else other than those listed.

Next episode is a Kate-centric one. Shi got her wish with a 'hot' Sayid one, now it's time for my wish for a Kate one to come true!!

Well, the answers a bit about why Kate was willing to go back when she was a fugitive. More questions about where Ben gets his money from, and about Miles too far that matter.

Plus Kate and Sawyer's baby, and a pretty strong indication that Sawyer never made it off the island.

^ Actually I was thinking that was Claire's kid :O

Other stuff:

Kate is one of the O6 after all, that leaves two more question marks (still assuming that Ben doesn't count because he wasn't on the plane) which I'm betting are Sun and Jin.  Or at least Sun, I just don't believe that they would kill her at this point.  Also Jin is learning English :P  Possibly setting up a future story about them living in America?

The official story from the O6 (based on Jack's testimony) seems to be that only eight people survived the crash.  For whatever reason they must have covered up the rest of the story.

Des and Sayid...Where?  Maybe the pilot didn't follow the same path out after all and is caught in some kind of time rift, like that physicist's rocket.

Yes, it was. Kate called him Aaron.

As soon as they showed him, I knew it was Claire's kid. I don't know why but when they mentioned Kate's son and never showed him, I had a strong suspicion that it was Aaron.
