Yup, I think that Penny is going to show up or something. At any rate it doesn't look like they're leaving via the freighter, the preview seems to show another boat...like maybe a military craft?

OH MY GOD, I love Lost so much x___X This week's ep was pretty smashin'... Can't wait to see next week's OMG OMG

My favourite scene: Ben and Hurley sharing a chocolate bar.

It was so many things at the same time (funny, touching, wtf, and so on)...

That was a funny scene considering it came right after that big "dramatic" moment in the cabin

this episode was REALLY good. richard alpert?! matthew abbaddon?! claire in the cabin?! move the island?! man...so many new questions. the finale is gonna be really good. think about it, in 3 weeks we're gonna be on another lost break for months! seems like yesterday, it just came back on and now it's leaving again.

Since there was no Flash Forward for Locke, can we assume he's the man in the coffin? Or would it be Michael?

I was about to say it could be Ben, but I guess that wouldn't make much sense story-wise since he's supposed to be having some kind of showdown with Widmore. I can't imagine Locke ever leaving the island at this point, Michael's a good candidate though. If it is him, I feel kinda bad for him because not even Walt showed up at the funeral.

I don't know the answer to that but I read that we'll get the answer in one of the episodes of the season finale.

Very interesting episode! How dumb's Jack though? He already has suspicisions of the new guy's purposes and Faraday even told him they were not here to rescue them, so what does Jack say when a tracking device falls on them? "I think they want us to follow them!"

And I don't know what Richard does to look so young, but I want to know!

I was thinking, if Richard and maybe certain other "natives" don't age... Maybe that's why they can't have babies conceived on the island... :/ That's why they took all the kids from the crashed plane, cuz they can't have their own...? Well I'm just pulling stuff out of my ass

For some reason, I really love it when Sun out of all characters pwns someone.

Maybe because she was portrayed as such a fragile little sweetheart at first who did everything her hubby told her. But she turned out to be something completely different.

Such a shame to see that Sayid and Nadia finally meet again and look like they've grown close, but we all know the tragic outcome...

They'd be killing off two romances... Sheesh the makers of Lost really don't like love, do they. And like damn, did Desmond really survive all those times just to die in a big badaboom! GAWGHH!!

Just thinking about what you said there Shi and it's true, anyone in love on Lost is going to be disappointed in some fashion. Reminded me of Charlie and Claire's potential relationship and what could have been. But thinking about that relationship made me remember something. Didn't Desmond say he saw a vision of the future, and in it, Claire and Aaron got on a helicopter and were taken off the island? And this is what ultimately led to Charlie's death, because he thought if it didn't all go as Desmond saw, then they wouldn't get off the island? So why isn't Claire one of the Oceanic Six, or is it a possibility of something to occure in later seasons to follow?

Or am I missing something entirely and am talking rubbish?

Nah, you're making perfect sense, I've been wondering about that Desmond's vision, too. Maybe he just saw some woman get on a helicopter with Aaron and assumed it was Claire? :/ Like if his vision showed a helicopter, then cut to Aaron being held by someone.... Or sth. HAHAH I dunno, but right now Claire + Aaron getting on a helicopter seems impossible to happen.

Also, failed romances on Lost:
Juliet and the Other dude
Juliet and Jack (future)
Ben and Juliet (one-sided)
Kate and Sawyer (constant on-off)
Kate and Jack (constant on-off)
Claire and Charlie
Hurley and Libby
Sayid and Shannon
Sayid and Nadia (future)
Nikki and Paolo (not sure about names, the new characters on S3)

Pre-island:
Sun and the dude who taught her English
Locke and her GF
Kate and two different dudes
Jack's failed marriage
Michael's failed marriage (if they were married, I forget)

Sawyer seems to have had no success in relationships.

Also Jin and Sun were "separated" for a while on the island, and Desmond and Penny have had their share of problems in the past.

Shortly put: LOVE SUCKS!

Bernard & the woman whose name I forget = the only happy couple? lol
