Bought the latest issue of "sabra" today, and it came with a special "HEROES" DVD which contains the first episode, interviews and CMs...

Can't help but wonder how the Japanese market will take to it...

And hey, remember when I said Hiro's Japanese was crap, well they have dubbed him into proper Japanese..  :lol:

I don't believe the creators and writers can make heroes better. After seeing the new preview, thinking about how much I disliked the last season and feeling like Loeb has no idea about how to write stories and create characters that are not from comic books. I have decided to not watch heroes when it comes back unless I hear that the show has stopped sucking.

Not reading the past comments as the first 4 episodes of Season 2 have aired here in the UK so trying to avoid any past discussion. It's good so far, don't dislike Hiro's story as much as others did, and yes it is rather slow paced, but then so was Season 1 in the beginning. But there is one thing that's particularly grating.

The 'o-irish' accents. God, they're sooo bad. I'm surprised they haven't thrown in some leprechauns into the mix somewhere. Although it's still early days...

Is anyone else a bit disappointed in the webisodes? Having a guy that can super power screaming is pretty cool but this villan, the Constrictor, is quite lame and to me, a bit comical. If the company knows what Echo can do (a black character on a sci-fi drama called Echo/Eko, where have I heard that before? :D) why send in a lackey with no powers and a villan who can't do much about it. And in episode 2, why go in there unprotected and threaten his girl without even some, I dunno, earplugs? If I was that constrictor guy I would have tightened up the guys throat and mouth but hey, what do I know?

I am giving up on the show. The writing is horrible, and the plot holes are huge. How many ways can Hiro screw up, Jeph Loeb ripoff comic book stories, and the special effects look bad? It looks like the show will be Days of Future Past, secondary mutations, breakout at Arkham Asylum, Xmen and the copying of tons of other comic book stories this season.

Spoilers?

i like it.  First episode was better than all of season 2.  Its more like comic books now.  More action packed.  They don't drag it out either.  Right at the beginning, BAM!  They show who shot Nathan.  It doesn't feel like filler stories anymore, everyone has a main story.

I thought the special effects were cool.  Like when Hiro "Stopped Time", and you saw the speed trails from the fast running chick.  I kinda don't like the girl tho.  Or when Nikki/Tracy or whoever froze that reporter guy.  Its like SubZero!

Hiro, i wanna know when he turns into future Hiro. Well, i guess its soon since he traveled into the future and saw himself get electro-hadoukened by Ando, which was unexpected and cool.  He's always been like this since season 1, and never knew how to use his powers right.

Mohinder got pimp powers =P

Both episodes were pretty entertaining even though they were filled with all kinds of retarded shit. Anyways I think I'm gonna keep following the show no matter how stupid it gets  XD

+ Sylar vs. Claire was intense as fuck! Definitely one of my favorite Heroes scenes ever  :yep:
+ Future-Claire was fucking smokin'  :drool:
+ Future-Peter is way more badass than Peter.
+ Interaction between Hiro & Ando  :lol:
+ Claire finally realizing how lame her power is. She better start training some martial arts shit or else she will stay useless.
+ Kristen, Hayden & Dania were all looking as hot as ever  :drool:
