so far it hasn't given me any problem probably cause im a cautious surfer

I use Kapersky- I don't know too much about programs/computers as this is my first laptop that I have control over completely, so I find it does the job well enough!!

Of all the anti-viruses I have used, I find Kaspersky most effective and least annoying. Norton is a close second.

Been using ESET NOD32 antivirus for about 3 years. So far it always does the job.

Here's an interesting study done recently testing out most of the top anti-virus programs.

It rates them based on their detection rate, how quickly they could scan, and how many false positives they generated.

Currently, I'm using the free version of AVG. I've tried some others in the past, but don't remember seeing huge differences in them. I'm not exactly sure why I'm using AVG now, actually.

It seems like most of the freely available anti-virus programs are similarly effective, so any one is probably good.

i used to use the avira but the refurbished comp i bought not too long ago came with avg free installed, and i like it maybe a bit better than avira

Hi All,
I run ZenOK Free Antivirus on two PC's and on my laptop, the free editions, it has given me excellent protection, for eg, my kids bring their school projects home on USB flash sticks, as soon as they plug in the sticks the anti virus shows the infections from the school pc,s
my pc's just to confirm the virus and spyware protection, so far so good,

Hi girls I'm using a supercute free antivirus called ZenOK. My best friend recommended to me because her bother works with them..I don't know much about antivirus but I thought I might be good to recommend it

what's avira?? cuz shit son! CAUSES STAIN stay away from AVG. got me some massive malware. killed my run.dll so I couldn't open any programs, and it was a bitch to back up lol

just did a search and went with avast. so far ok. less than a day, the chick telling u the viruses been updated unngh

That's my anti virus criteria lol

but really, it was blocking random .exes I was running like NHL 2001

I like to use the combination of Malwarebytes and Microsoft Secuity essentials. I Haven't had to reformat my computer in months. It takes care of my computer
