Estrea, yes Yuuspeak scares me too! It also makes me kind of uncomfortable, so there will be lots of awkward laughter on my end.

It's the first time I think I've really seen an article like that about fanfics written... and with how he comments on it, wow, I realize we're really just like all the others out there

He mentions "RPF" fics about "rock bands"

I suppose that's almost just what we are

And I also did a survey of (SNSD) fanfic authors, so you might find the answers (and discussion in the comments) interesting, and feel free to answer the questions yourself in here! It would be interesting to me to see how H!P authors might differ in their thoughts from SNSD writers, or people who dabble in both, like Yuuyami/Reyu.

Also I might start looking for After School fic.

Here is some that I can think of:

Twins: W
Musumeyaku/Otokoyaku (terms from the Takarazuka review: female role/male role): IshiYoshi, Airi/Maimi
Manzai team (tsukkomi/boke): GakiKame
Senpai/Kouhai: Rainbow Pink, YoMako, YoMaki
Delinquent Gang: MaiMai/Chiisa, MiyaSaki
Student Counsel Leaders: YoMiki, TakaGaki
Loli/Bear: Gen 9 MM/Sayumi, Gen 2 SMileage/Sayumi
Tall/Short: Kaori/Mari, Yurina/Momo

Any more types you guys can think of?

I'd say Tanashige is a combination of Manzai(Sayumi tends to get the upper hand on Reina) and Delinquent Gang.

Also Shinyuu/Best Friends should be a couple type, in which Takagaki, KameShige, GAM, and YoMaiAyaka fall under.

I also see Kaori/Mari as Student Counsel Leaders, too.

YossieAi is a combo of Takarazuka and Tall/Short.

YuriMaasa is Twin Towers. YajiUme is a combo of Twin Towers and Student Counsel Leaders. I've read one YossyMiyoshi fic before, and they might fall under Twin Towers.

Not sure a good term to describe it, but I'd also add...

Fangirl/Oshimen: Reina/Maki, Chisa/Miya, almost anyone/Ai

but maybe more especially Sayu/Ai or Yuuka/Ai or Airi/Ai. These might be crackier pairings

I'm also not sure about SakiMiya being delinquent gang... they're more a best friends type. Reina and anyone from her army might fall into that though. ^^;

A fan couple could fall into several categories and I don't these categories should exclude each other (with the possible exception of Twin Towers and Tall/Short).

As for delinquent gang, maybe I meant "mischief makers" more. Specifically, girls who go around pulling pranks on other girls.
