“Umm…Guess Aya got to you first…“ Reina said, and somehow managed to get out of Miki’s grip and distanced herself from the raging vampire.
“Aww, is a yankii like you scared?” Miki teased, leaning up against the wall. “Give me a good reason not to kill you and I might just send flowers to your funeral.”
“Um…” Reina knew she would have to think fast for this one. “Y-you don’t want to get Maki-san mad.”
Miki couldn’t help but to laugh at Reina’s response. “I piss her off everyday as it is.” she said coolly, “She couldn’t do much harm to me anyway.”
“She could, and you know it.” Reina said defensively.
“Pft, she’s pathetic.”
“Shut-up.”
“She’s weak, useless.”
“I said shut-up! She’s better than you’ll ever be!”
“Yeah right.” Miki said, knowing she was getting to Reina, “She doesn’t deserve to be considered a vampire. Hell, I’m starting to think she doesn’t even deserve to be called a pathetic mortal.”
“Take it back!” Reina yelled, fists clenched.
“And with the ways she’s been dressing for her songs and acting around people, especially around you.” Miki smirked, “What a whore.”
“You bitch!” Reina finally snapped, that was the last straw. She lunged at Miki with full force, punching the vampire in the stomach, causing Miki’s back to be crushed against the brick wall she was leaning against.
“You sure are brave…” Miki mumbled as she held her stomach and Reina backed up a few steps. “But you‘re sure as hell gunna regret that…” She then quickly went up to Reina, and grabbed her throat tight enough to stop oxygen from reaching the wonky eyed teen‘s lungs, lifting her off her feet.
Desperate for air, Reina did a rather cheap, yet effective move: She spat in Miki’s face and kicked her in the chest as hard as she could with both of her legs, thus pushing herself out of Miki’s grip and hitting the ground and skidding in a very ungraceful manner.
“So, you wanna play unfair?” Miki growled, wiping the spit from her eye as she walked towards Reina. “I guess I will too.”
Not yet…
Reina slowly started to get up, yet Miki kicked the younger hard in the side, sending her back to the ground once again.
Just a few more moments…
“Get up.” Miki spat, pulling Reina to her feet. “And to think, I’d figure you’d be a bit more of a challenge.” She smirked, showing her fangs. “Oh, and please struggle while I’m draining you, makes it all the more pleasurable.”
The vampire started to lean in towards Reina, ready to suck the girl dry. “I’ll make sure to let Maki know.”
Now!
Reina slammed her head into Miki’s with all the force she could and then punched the vampire in the mouth. Miki had stumbled backwards, holding her head in pain while cursing herself for falling for such a simple trick. Reina even managed to draw blood, Miki’s lip was now bleeding. In that moment small window of opportunity, Reina charged at Miki.
But Miki was much too clever to fall for that, once Reina was close enough, she grabbed the girl’s arm with one hand, stepped to the side and then after sticking her foot out, gave Reina an extra little push with her free hand. “I’m not going to go so easy on you now.” she said as the teenager hit the ground. “But I’ll have to admit, I did wrong for underestimating you.”
The wonky eyed teen let out a small groan in pain as she started to stand up, keeping her eyes on Miki. Her opponent’s wounds were healing, and Reina was finally starting to feel the pain in her own as she walked towards Miki. Her limbs were covered in new bloody, dirt covered scrapes, and she was already suffering from the bruises that had yet to show. Although she was more or less giving her life to Miki by going on, she couldn’t give up that easily.
Miki smirked, “You stubborn little brat.” she said with a laugh.
“Just shut-up and fight.” Reina growled.
“As you wish.” Miki said once Reina was close enough to her. She grabbed the teen’s shoulders, pulling her closer as she kneed her in the stomach. Reina didn’t even have time to realize what was happening before Miki pulled down on her shoulders, slamming her to the ground on her stomach.
“Ugh…” Reina groaned, spitting up a bit of blood.
“No so tough now, are you?” Miki grabbed Reina by the collar, lifting her to her feet. She leaned in towards Reina once again, knowing that she was much too weak to fight back now.
Reina could feel the vampire’s breath against her skin, and then her fangs against her neck. She tried to push herself away, but it was no use, her limbs seemed to stay frozen where they were.
“It’s a damn shame you got involved…” Miki whispered, causing the younger’s hairs on the back of her neck to stand up, “You were cute too.”
Those were the last words Reina ever heard…
At least, that’s what she thought.
To her surprise, Reina found herself on the ground.
To even more of her surprise, she noticed Miki was on the ground as well. She turned to see Maki, who had slammed into Miki in the last second, walk over to Miki, fire in her eyes.
Miki stood up and was about to charge at Maki before something held her back. Yossie stood behind her, grabbing Miki’s arms and putting them in a lock. “Didn’t I tell you not to hurt Reina?” Yossie said to her, “You never listen.”
“And you haven’t eaten today,” Maki growled, coming closer. “So Yocchan can easily keep you there for as long as I want her to.”
“Remember the deal.” Yossie said, “Only hit her once.”
“Yeah, yeah.” Maki growled before slamming her fist into Miki’s face with full force, making Yossie need to take a few steps back to keep herself balanced. “But that deal was weeks ago.” She added before sending another punch into Miki’s stomach.
“Well, you have a point.” Yossie said, still holding Miki, “But take Reina-chan to your apartment, she should get cleaned up and stay away from Miki for a while.”
Maki nodded, satisfied for now. She’d get a better revenge while Yossie wasn’t around to stop her. She turned to Reina, and walked over to her. “I’m sorry about all this.” She said softly, picking the wonky eyed girl up wedding style.
Reina gave a small smile, “Thank you.” she said with a small nod, “But please don’t be sorry.”
Within minutes, Maki entered her apartment, and set Reina down on the bed.
“I told you that you didn’t have to carry me.” Reina said, but smiled at the fact that Maki still did.
“It was no big deal.” Maki said, returning the smile and walking into her bathroom, quickly returning with a small first aid kit. “Umm…I’ve never really have had to use one of these before.”
They opened it up to find that it had, like Maki said, never been used. She opened up an anti-bacterial product and inspected it, reading the back label to see if it could be put to any use, then pulled out a washcloth, dabbing a bit of the anti-bacterial onto it. “This might sting.”
“After what just happened, I think I can put up with any amount of pain.” Reina laughed lightly, trying to keep the mood light.
“Good point.” Maki gave a small laugh, and started to clean one of Reina’s knees.
It did in fact sting, but did very little use of cleaning the dirt out of the wound. “Well, we should get you cleaned up before we cover you in bandages and this stuff.” she said, putting a cap on the bottle. “Come into the bathroom.”
Reina nodded and stood, following Maki into the bathroom.
Maki turned the metal knobs of her shower, causing water to pour out of the shower head. “Okay, get in.” Maki said, starting to strip down.
Reina blushed but nodded and did as she was told, she also stripped down and entered the shower, Maki soon followed, holding a wash cloth. She couldn’t tell if Maki was also blushing or it was just from the hot water. Her eyes glanced down, yet she quickly looked away.
Maki washed most of Reina’s wounds in silence, neither of them knowing exactly what to say.
“Well, all cleaned up.” Maki finally said, as she turned off the shower and started to get out, grabbing a towel for herself and another for Reina.
“Thank you very much.” Reina said with a smile, taking the towel as she stepped out of the shower and wrapped it around herself.
Maki nodded, forcing herself to look away from Reina as she walked towards her dresser. “I’ll give you some pajamas to wear.” she said while she searched through the drawers.
“Okay,” Reina nodded, starting to dry herself off, “Yeah, I think my clothes will have to be thrown out.” she examined her bloody jeans and shirt. At least her undergarments weren’t ruined. She grabbed a purple thong which laid on the bathroom floor and slipped it on, following with her bra.
Maki dried herself off and then changed into a pair of small gym shorts and a tank top. She walked over to Reina and handed her a pair of pajama bottoms and a tank top.
“Thank you.” Reina said once again, quickly changing into them.
Maki nodded and sat down on the bed, “We should bandage you up first though.” she said, “You don’t have many that need bandages so it wont take long.”
Reina nodded and sat down on the bed, grabbing the first aid kit and pulling out the proper supplies needed to wrap up the wounds. There were only three that were horribly bad, one on her right shoulder, the other on her right knee, and the last on her left arm.
“I’m really sorry about her…“ Maki said as she took some of the bandages and started wrapping Reina’s shoulder after putting more anti-biotical medicine on it. “She had no right to do that, I know she was upset that you had told Aya, but she would of found out about Miki eventually.”
Reina was silent for a few minutes while Maki finished up her should and then her arm as well.
“Well…It wasn’t exactly her who started the fight…” Reina mumbled softly, watching Maki bandage her knee.
“What?” Maki asked, raising an eyebrow, “You mean to say, you started the fight?”
Reina slowly nodded, “Yeah…”
“Why would you do that?” Maki asked, finished wrapping her knee. “You know she can easily kill you if she wanted.”
“It’s just…”
“It’s just what? Why would you put yourself in danger like that?” Maki looked up to be face to face with her, but the teen refused to make eye contact.
“But she had called you a whore…” Reina mumbled, “Is it that bad to try and stop a person for saying such things about the person you love?” She then finally looked Maki in the eyes.
Maki had forgotten whatever it was she was going to say before Reina had said those words. Slowly, she put a hand on Reina’s cheek, her thumb softly brushing across her lips before a smile appeared upon her own. She didn’t respond with words, nor did she need to, Maki leaned forward, and kissed Reina’s lips gently.

The sunlight managed to wake the wonky eyed teenager up, she stretched slightly before opening her eyes to find herself, once again, cuddling up to Maki. She blinked a couple times but pulled herself closer to the sleeping soloist, while doing so she realized one thing.
Maki wasn’t wearing anything.
Nor was she.
Her eyes widened as she realized exactly what had happened the prior night.
I had…With…? Reina looked at Maki once again, every little detail of what happened flying through her mind. I didn’t even know she was able to do THAT. I mean…That's just plain SKILL.
