BEIJING -- A 17-year-old boy in northeastern China was so disappointed with the looks of a woman he met over the Internet that he hanged himself after seeing her face-to-face, state media reported Friday.

I'm not sure if I should feel bad for the guy who killed himself or the girl who is so ugly she made the guy kill himself.

As always, selfkillers won't get sympathy from me. But I'm kinda sorry for the girl, but if she was almost 30 I'm sure she can handle it... Or maybe we see another suicide... What a Romeo & Juliet story it'd be

That has to be the most childish and most idiotic thing to do. He must have fallen in love with her over the net to be affected so much, and he shouldn't have been soo naive to believe people on the net. Common sense says that if he left it for four days, it may have been nothing to do with the girl that he killed himself. Just cos a news article makes that the reason... who knows? Nothing is said that he left a note giving that reason. Hmmmm...
