ah, I read about this the other week it's pretty interesting although I'm not sure it's a good thread title

I think it's just a treatment to help kill cancer cells, they can just come back if they want to.
I'll throw in a link about the stuff here so people can find out about it from more than one source.

Rather misleading thread title.

Also, what pharmaceutical company WOULDN'T produce this if it was 100% proven? Who cares if it has no patent, if it can kill cancer, it's gonna sell like hotcakes. That "no profit" thing would suddenly turn into "billions in profit".

Yeah no. Since when does "greatly reduce risk" = "cure"? Cure generally means you already have the disease and you can get rid of it. Greatly reduce risk means before you don't have it. Anyway, salt causes other problems.

ok, misleading title, but i like to spark contreversey
i believe why drug companies don't want to capitalize is because they have little chance of dominating the market.
for example Tylenol is probably one of the largest pain medications, but there are so many generic forms out there, why not just buy those?
That's because Tylenol is a trusted brand name.
Once that substance gets into mainstream medicine, all the drug companies are going to immediately start making it and selling it. At a cheap cost and high prices no doubt.
But they have no time at being the "only" one or the best company for that product, meaning they all are selling the same thing to a neutral group of consumers with no bias toward one company for that specific drug
