- Rika was watching the France vs. Portugal World Cup match, and as a result, has slept for only 2 hours today (though she doesn’t remember much from the match... she remembers to pay attention only when she hears the whistle). Still, it actually has a positive influence on her mood (although she almost fell asleep during the last song played on the show today).
- Rika can’t explain her feelings towards soccer, but she likes it... although she has no deep knowledge of it. Her family often tries to persuade her to get to bed, but Rika doesn’t listen to them and watches soccer even at those late hours. She’s going to watch the final match no matter what, and hopes it'll be a nice last match for Zidane.
- Rika was surprised and shocked to hear that Nakata is retiring too (but she found his decision to be cool). Also, Rika swears she is going to go see the 2010 World Cup live.
- The Gatas futsal team won their group in the latest tournament, even without Rika, Yossie and Miki. Shibata emailed Rika, telling her that she scored from a free kick.
- Rika cut her hair shorter again. Now it’s around Erika’s size, and a bit lighter (perfect for the summer, and easier to manage). Her skin is also getting lighter lately (she's using whitening soap or something like that).I like my Rika tanned and with long hair
