WHOA Fenrir: GIRL ON FIRE!! : :bounceblob:

haha they're all copycats!! Rika built the mold! Ai-chan a rival!! GANBATTE!

Quote from: tama-chan
This is the perfume that Rika uses??

Now if only I could find this perfume, I'd know how she smell like!!! :w00t:

I saw on a Nifty auction page there was a cologne for auction (Givenchy???) too.

Quote from: tama-chan
But now that she feels more at ease with the group, she doesn't need that title anymore. that's how I see it.

She has changed her leadership skillz from the a few months ago. More "in your face" cheer you up vibe. Kinda like Kei!!

Quote
I'm not sure what "yahari" means, but, basically, it's "Fuck 7th gen. 4th gen IS a miracle." :D BUBKA might have said all the wrong things in the past, but this time, they're just right on.

I'm gonna put that in my sig!!!!  :halo:

Omataseitashimashita!!

 thanks for the hard work Fenrir!!! <3 more "research" material! At last the interpolation of her career has some factual merit!

Some comments on your translation of the Grad Comment CD!!

- how she says she liked to listen to adult convo as a child. Look at her time in MM. She always hung around the older members - and well, not necessarily MM but staffers, coreographers, etc. It was like she really interested to know the game.

- "Units" was definitely huge...give any other member's "Top 3" news and they don't even come close. A #1 Single that is a MM staple. Everlasting character. Only Maki comes close.

- I like her take that she didn't find her "character" until the other 3 4th Gen did. Ask any of the other girls and she said she'd be the last. haha.

- I look forward to her nonchalant leader rubbing off on Miyoshi and Okada. Lead by example - those girls really need to pick up the pace. This isn't Country Musume. Okada must be bubbly around Rika as well and Miyoshi needs to act like a rival (Miki, Yossi) instead of a junior.

the funniest part of the Grad Comment CD is the instrumentals used as the background music so you could hear Tsunku's barratone.

Quote from: tama-chan

「やはり4期は奇蹟」

Yes, they are. Yes, they are...

What does this mean?? 4th Gen no more?? :?

Quote from: tama-chan
...like Shiba-chan is the only person that she allows herself to appear weak to.

hehe, WELL SAID!! Shiba-chan is always there for her.

And Rika has really embraced the senior role well. I just noticed it in the past 2 graduation concerts that she was the only one to really comfort Kaori and UU ... putting herself ahead of others and being strong. To keep the group together and strong. If Rika - the senior - ended up crying and fainting, how'd the others react?? That they have a show to put on!!

They could say she knows that they're filming the DVD or she was out there comforting everyone, the girl knows the game.

I mean, last time - the papers had RIKA CRIES when they lost. So Rika just said "Let's have fun!" and damn, you could see her showboating when she scored but IT WAS ENTERTAINING!! She really comforted asami here. While everyone was brushing by, Rika just gave her a big hug complete with back stroking.

http://files.filefront.com/rika_asami;3893876;/fileinfo.html

and how about (I can't find where you guys mentioned  this) how she had invented this whole arm pumping move to loosen everyone up. Miuna wanted to join in but was embarassed. Mai got it all wrong and Miki was being Miki

Rika's GATAS pump:
http://www.qfile.de/dl/39260/dat340.avi.html

also on DOKYU:
http://files.filefront.com/rikacrazy_a;3893871;/fileinfo.html

except she's being silly with Nono and Yossi's like "Here's the gameplan bitches!!" and Rika steps in and pays attention.

about the arm pumping thing that rika invented during the tounrey, i wanted to mention it too though i dont really how to call it!! its funny she does it during the beginning of a couple of games. she kinda encouraged the whole team to do it or rather miki.

well rika has her game face on during games. but maybe she just feels more calm compare to others. this is why i prefer watching her play futsal than watchin her perf live on stage. she gets more competitive in these sports games.

I think it will have more pictures than writing. The pictures will be similar to last month's Flash Magazine set.
And according to tama-chan there will be bikini pics  :w00t:
So I'm sure you won't be disappointed unless you're waiting for another Hanabi.

Translation of Toybox article about Rika. It's not complete; I'm missing the last two paragraphs of the article, but where i stopped is actually a pretty good ending place. It's like an essay/editorial column written by a Rika fan. Now.. if i can only remember the link...

TOYBOX Ishikawa Rika Cinderella Story

Ishikawa Rika graduates at Budokan where she had her first concert. In her first concert, who always had a high voice during the MC, watched the older members intently while laughing. In the audience encouragement, it was inevitable they would be confused. A little before that, without moving anywhere, she was an ordinary quiet girl. What did she feel standing on the big dance stage all of a sudden? Joy? Fear? Or… And what was she thinking of on May 7.

Even among the 4th generation members, the right adjective for her, who held back her enthusiasm, was negative. Moreover, she didn’t have confidence anywhere in her own singing. But still, she did a musical in a monotone voice and such, and within herself, the girl who was able to capture the right direction, little by little, grew. Recently, the word “positive” haven’t been shown from her, but the way that it is heard by oneself has changed.

Persistently, it might be the writer’s selfish assumptions, but wasn’t the element that allowed her to grow was the establishment of joining Tanpopo and the always teased on character in Hello Morning?

Still not knowing right to left, when she was told she would be joining Tanpopo, she was full of worry, but doing activities in a small group of 4 people allowed her to find her own place and I suppose let her learn lots of things from the older members. I always listened to a radio program called, “Osoro,” but talking by herself there with only her voice and challenging the expressions she had to do on the radio drama, I felt she grew a lot. Again, with 3 members graduating, she became the leader of the new Tanpopo, even from the radio, she really conveyed that the she takes care of the younger members well. Of course, even now, the younger members respects the older members, I wonder from now on will Viyuden pull with great force.

In Hello Morning, this is about the news corner that “Charmy” was in charge of. Even there, she worked with the big older member, Yuu-chan, and the bonds between them deepened more, and I suppose she learned more than a mountain worth. I remember her fiercely protecting her caster corner seat. Someday, for sure, looking at myself, the time comes where I transfer to the younger members the place where I grew. At that time, I woke up to how deeply moved I was without thinking; I wondered her feelings of how much she loved that corner, how hard she did her best, and how much she received favors and thanks. She was doing her best and captured our hearts and I felt that I couldn’t take my eyes off of her. I watched over her as she grew from a young girl to a female adult and supported her.
