Draft was alright. Lakers got UCLA's Farmur and might be interesting to see how Phil does. So many trades draft nite too.

Nothing too surprising or exciting with Free Agency coming up this week. Lakers got Radmanovic reportedly agree to five-year contract...psssh, he was interesting in Seattle.

I can't believe Tim Thomas signed with the Clippers instead of the Suns. Thomas owes the Suns for signing him when noone else did. I'll bet Thomas is going to suck it up next year.

Yeah man, Tim Thomas is such a loser.  The guy is probably going to tank it until he's near or in a contract year.  That's why I wasn't surprised he stepped up his play after getting waived by the Knicks.  Everybody thinks he wasn't getting the playing time or was just stuck in a crappy system but the reality is he put it in cruise control after that huge contract.  That's just my opinion on him.

There's too many players who tank it right after signing big deals.  I.e. Jamal Crawford

I also think Mike James will probably take a step back (although probably not as dramatic as others) in terms of production after he gets "the money he deserves" in the offseason.  I hope the Raps can somehow S&T him somewhere and at least get something in return for him.  There's a bit of talk that we'll be involved in a trade with the Rockets...but I've gotta say no to Stro unless he's packaged with Gay (the player, not the emotion).

"Somebody had to pay for Dallas' collapse in the NBA Finals. The Mavericks started with someone they owed a lot of money. NBA front-office sources told ESPN's Marc Stein Wednesday night that the Mavs have agreed to trade forward Marquis Daniels to the Indiana Pacers for veteran forward Austin Croshere. The Dallas Morning News also reported that the deal was confirmed by Mavericks officials."

-_- I'm still not used to this trading stuff when it involves Dallas. Daniels was pretty productive a year ago, but with the addition of Stackhouse and Vanhorn he has slipped down. Man...I know some things about Daniels...I wonder if he wants to leave Dallas for Indiana.

This sucks because I don't think we're getting the fair end of the deal. To be honest, I thougt Croshere was retired or something. lol

WTF Croshere sucks. That trade makes no sense.

Ben Wallace is too slow for Chicago's system. He doesn't fit that run and gun style. At least he'll be there to clean up when they jack it up!

I think the Raps are only making the moves that are available to them.  I mean...it's probable that Toronto is still not an attractive destination for NBA players.  This is why Colangelo has to look over to Europe for guys wanting to make it into the league.

Either way, I think the Raps will be competitive this year.  TJ Ford will be interesting to watch and to see how well he clicks with Bosh.  I still think we got ripped off in the Villanueva-Ford trade but in terms of impact, Ford will probably help us out more.  It was just an issue with talent...

"The Indiana Pacers will send point guard Anthony Johnson to the Dallas Mavericks for veteran floor leader Darrell Armstrong and two young players, Armstrong's agent said Sunday.

Armstrong, forward Josh Powell and swingman Rawle Marshall are headed to the Pacers in a sign-and-trade deal that can't be completed until the NBA office opens Monday."

wtf!!! I thought the mavs were gonna keep Armstrong for his leadership skills...and his crazy flopping abilities.

^ Why not just follow your hometown team? Or at least the closest one?

Well anyways, a good team would be the Chicago Bulls...nice mix of old and young talent.  They are up and coming for sure.
