Gotta say MLK games were great. Vinsanity going NUTS!! How bout that THREE and pose! Spurs got spanked by the Bulls!

Heat-Lakers was close :sweatdrop: Blowing a 7 point lead with 1 minute left haha

KOBE~~ Groin a pulled..but sliced and diced when needed. Cookie was dropping BOMBS WTF. Lakers gotta stop falling in love with the 3, take it to the fuckin hole. Talk about the foul discrepancy, back in the day (2 or 3 years ago) Kobe would get all the calls. Now D-Wade gets to the line everytime he breathes. Talk about a what have u done for me lately world we live in.

^You're a damn idiot.
So the Spurs suck......suck bad enough to be 3 times NBA Champions.
Suck bad enough, that it must be a joke for them to be considered one of the elite teams in the Western Conference, would that be correct by your low brow standards?

Nuff said by me, just had to answer such an idiotic post, which is usually beneath me, but that is your little opinion, and you're entitled to it.

If you you choose to rebuff what I posted, then by all means, go right ahead, it'll be a little post I won't see.

^^ Idiot. You think the Spurs are still an elite team. The only elite teams this year is Dallas and Phoenix. Yes they won 3 championship. With the team they had for years they should of won ant least five. Spurs cant rebound, block shots, cant defend the post, and there freakin old. The only hope for me to believe is that when Elson comes back hell give the spurs the low post present to defend.

Go Spurs Go

Pacers, Warriors swing 8-player trade

Quote
OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- The Indiana Pacers traded Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday for forwards Troy Murphy and Mike Dunleavy as part of an eight-player deal designed to shake up two struggling teams.

The Pacers also sent guard Sarunas Jasikevicius and forward Josh Powell to the Warriors, who gave up forward Ike Diogu and guard Keith McLeod.

way to love the spurs......

Spurs not elite team? what kinda statment is that. sure, they've been struggling for the past few games. but u know they will get back on track. Suns has yet to prove anything in the playoffs for the last two yrs. until they can prove to the world they can win with offense first style bball, spurs will take them in the playoffs. Dallas is the only team right now that looks like they can win championship this season.

rockets can be an elite team when yao and tmac is healthy.

^ which is never

Oh yeah, I love that Yao Ming denying he's having an affair with Nia Long. "Isn't it too ridiculous?" he said. "I saw the news on Internet. The writer is so good at hoaxes. What's that? She's only 1.57m. I'm 2.26m. Does it sound reasonable?"

The report said Yao had first seen Long in the 1990s television series "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air", in which she played the love interest of Will Smith's lead character.

Lakers ROLLED up the Spurs! Well, not. Up by 10...d'oh came to a few key baskets by Kobe down the stretch. 100-96 was too close...too many turnovers.

gotta say tho, Andrew Bynum really held his own against Tim Duncan, made him miss a few shots...but he's slow back on defense!

ONE YEAR AGO TODAY...THE WORLD'S GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYER

DROPPED 81 POINTS

WHERE WERE YOU?? Tex Winter was on Jim Rome Show today, calling Kobe play is that he pre-determines and doesn't let the game come to him, but he's "very coachable" ...Shaq "not coachable, deterimined the way he want to play"

i wonder what the consensus will be on denver's season...

i'm betting most people here think that the nuggets will definitely make the postseason (a view i also share), but we all probably differ on the seed #.

Right now, they're #7 with 22 wins.

@ #6 :Houston with 25 wins
@#5: Lakers with 27 wins
@ #4: utah (their division leader) with 28 wins.

any predictions on how the nuggets will wind up?

i've actually pencilled the lakers at #5 (mav->suns->san antone) with a better record than the #4 seed (i'm putting denver here....i think they'll make a good run) and #6 for utah, #7 houston, #8 clippers (they're only 1/2 game away from #8!)

what do you think??

Hard to tell...The Lakers might slip a bit, they got a pretty favorable schedule early on but the harder the games come, the better they play it seems. I'm aiming for them to be #4. No way they're catching Phoenix now, WHO GOT THEIR 2nd 15 game win streak WTF!!

I think Houston might slip a bit, they always seem to choke down the stretch, Never count out the Wolves too, they will get their act together and fight for #8.

LMAO Thim. AI looks like Melo Junior.

How bout Eddie Jones getting a game winner!! Old guy still has it!!

well, you know the new seed system for the playoffs, right? division winners + 4th best record in conference = 1-4 in the seeds, based on who has the best record between those three.

only way the lakers get 4th seed is if they beat out san antonio for 4th best record (considering mavericks will get 1st in that division vs san antonio, phoenix will get 1st in laker's division, and either utah or denver gets 1st in their division).  then the next 1-4 spot goes to the next best record, which is most likely san antonio.

hopefully we get 4th, but i wouldn't bet on it.

did u hear? dwayne casey, coach for minnesota got canned for going 20-20. i'm betting minnesota might not make that 8th seed, now.

I wonder if KG will still be with the T-Wolves after the AllStar break, seeing as there's still the possible trade rumors still circulating that the T-Wolves are looking to trade KG, which might do him good, send him to a team thats a contender, depending if any trade might happen, and with whom.

trade rumors are to be expected, right now...HOWEVER, i don't think there's much truth to it.  here's why:
1) they're still in the playoff hunt
2) they got 1.5 yrs left on that contract...they could always trade him in the offseason and still get approximate value
3) he's called the BIG TICKET for a reason
4) what sort of value would they get halfway into the season?? maybe a desperate contender like miami (ps, they SUCK this year...shaq's been done)

the only scenarios i can see is chicago. chicago's got everything that minnesota wants, picks+potential star+star.  if KG does go to chicago, WATCH OUT!
