I feel bad for KG. His team blows. It would be weird watching KG play in a Bulls uniform.

Mavs lost today to the...can we still call them the "Baby Bulls?"

KG's team does suck balls, but i don't think it'd be any weirder than AI playing for denver...

and baby bulls? i think that refers to their collective experience and ages, however if they can get to the EC finals, then i think that tag gets dropped.

on a side note, the lakers are like the 5th youngest team in the league...

Also, how the hell was shaq picked to the all star game?? he started like FOUR games this whole year.  freaking stupid fan voting....

^ I think it was 5 games.

Nash and Dirk aren't gonna be starting and they're the two best players in the league right now. At least Gilbert Arenas is starting over Vince CArter.

Yeah...funny how the fans vote people in. Shaq hasn't played shit all year and he's starting - i ain't complaining tho.

 LAKERS cannot beat sub-500 teams...Kobe's last second 3 wasn't enuff. WTF.

And welcome back Lamar, Phil Jackson was really testing ur stamina huh XD

Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 32 points, becoming at 28 years and 156 days the youngest player in NBA history to reach 18,000 points. Wilt Chamberlain did so at 28 years and 166 days, followed by Michael Jordan at 28 years and 359 days.

"It's always special," Bryant said. "Things like that really don't sink in until the end of your career."

HOLY SHIT!!!!!

Damn, I had no idea the Spurs played today, was channel surfing and found them on ABC with 2 minutes left in the 4th.

That OT was crazy as hell, yo, had the 'ol ticker just thumping like an 808.
5 lead changes in the final minute, Kobe just stroking his shot, hitting them.

Duncan hitting his shots, keeping it going, then Finley nailing that trey to put the Spurs up by 2 with 1.7 seconds left on the clock.

Thats what I'm talking bout, man, games like that are mad crazy to watch, but I love that stuff better than blowouts, keeps ya on the edge of your seat, going ape shit with every possession. XD

WOOOOOOOO!!!!!

What a game in OT, even though I missed the majority of the game, but I was watching my girls concert. ;)

i really don't think nash + dirk are the two best players in the league. i think dirk+kobe, but not nash.

no one has ever said "yeah, i'm afraid of guarding nash. he's unguardable".
also, not that hard to extend your win streak when amare is playing ridiculous.  remember, suns have 3 all stars. that'd be like kobe, shaq, and another all star! crazy...

also, lakers (i've said it many times already) are still a young team and need to learn how to put players away.  Bynum, still 19!, has about 2 years before he becomes a more complete player.   his power moves are still weak and slow...

lakers were up by 10 with 4 minutes or so left, remember...

^ dunno about kobe being the best. Scorer in terms like gilbert arenas. Hes better now since he became less selfish w/ the rock. Nash makes his team better period. Sure he can be guarded but when you avg that many assists a game how many players around him score. Adding amare to the mix makes the Suns more powerful in the west. Dirk + Nash 2 player race for the MVP.

I like the way the lights are dimmed at the Staples Arena. The way they filmed the game on sunday (Spurs vs Lakers) was really different. It felt like I was there...

TIMBERWOLVES BEAT THE SUNS!!! WOO HOO!! KG scores 44! Take that!

^Well, Manu and Coach Pop had already said after that game that they knew it was an accident, since Kobe isn't that sort to do something like that intentionally.

It would seem, though, that the League took it another way and decided to suspend Kobe for one game without pay.
IMO, none of that was necessary, because Kobe is a stand up guy, but what can you do, the NBA is walking on eggshells after that fight between the Knicks/Nuggets, trying to maintain a good image with the fans.

It's fun to watch the Suns' streak only to falter again during playoffs. I hope this would be the year to get Nash his deserved ring.

Who is not excited about the slam dunk contest this year? It just doesn't seem to have the same calibur of guys compared to a few years past. Anywho, I think Gerald Green will take it even though Nate Rob is from my neck of the woods. It was embarassing seeing him take 10+ attempts to pull one off.

I think it's cuz the big names don't compete...the skills competition if they have to like break a sweat they won't do it. I mean shit, Drew Brees dislocated his elbow? There's so much floating and "let's no get hurt" attitude, I'm surprised there's even a score of 150-149 in regulation.

Thank Rika the Grammys are over, Kobe dropped a ton on Lebron but no one else showed up

man! haven't been following NBA in a bit (except the few Laker games that were actually on TV!)...who knew Eddie Jones was back with the HEAT! Who knew he was on waivers! Looking good man!

Parker and Manu are such floppers, I wouldn't doubit if Manu put his face into Kobe's elbow to draw a foul. Non call on the floor, a fine woulda been good enuff. Fuckin Stern.

Looks like Pat Riley is back just as Shaq returns to form XD
