^^ He's a fuckin centre. You are now comparing penises to vaginas. We are talking about who is more important to their team, who alters opponent's game plan. We are talking about making other players around you better. That is the definition of an MVP.

That saying...the more minutes Shaq played, the better. He gets hot early, and softens up the defense so D-Wade can fuckin slide in DROP FUCKIN 40 on them Pissstons!!!

Solid Win. Flash had to step it up. And he did but shit look at those ESPN and TNT bitches who are suudenly so reluctant to compare Flash to Jordan. Even reluctant to say he should be named as a franchise player!

Miami played more intense defense and good to see the FLOPPING being ignored. Fuckin Ben Wallace managed to get Shaq and Zo in foul trouble but I was LAUGHING when Billups was called for charging, and Lindsey Hunter whistled for illegal defense. :fuckyou:

Yes!! Pisston fans...believe the rumors about Larry Brown talking to the Cavs

If you think Lakers' fall is totally because of Shaq's leaving, you are so wrong my friend.  Have you notice Malone is gone too?  Payton?  And look at who they traded for...........  3 solid but not really stars.  Not even Derek Fisher and Robert Horry those solid backups with rings already  want to stay in Lakers.  Lakers right now is just totally fucked.  No one wants to play there period.  More importantly, have you ever think that maybe it's Kobe's problem for the Lakers fall this year too?  Remember Atkins even said in public that he doesn't know if he will be there next year, go ask Kobe the manager.  If that didn't tell you sth wrong with the Kobe being too powerful in the organization which leads to Lakers' fall ....... you are just delusional.

Ok, now let see the Dallas side, this year they got Dampier (the top hard banger), Jerry Stackhouse (the previous all star), Jason Terry (one of the best scoring pg), and the youngster Josh Howard and Marquis Daniels are very althetic and improving.  Just look at the roster, no one would think Dallas do bad this year.

Then just look at Pheonix, they weren't even close to playoff last year, but with just one addition of Nash, they are now #1 in regular season.  Don't tell me it's coincident.  If you claim Shaq changed the game, so does Nash.  Shaq made ppl realize a physical dominant banger center is the best way to build a team, that's why Dampier and Fortson those kind of skills-less center can survive in NBA and earning almost max salary.  In the meanwhile, Nash brought back the pretty fast break offence in NBA after those defensive team winning all the time.  (ie. San Antonio, Lakers, Pistons, etc)  Just look at Pheonix, no one can deny the fact that Nash just one person made the team much much better.  Remember Nash was injured in the middle of regular season?  Pheonix lost 4 or 5 straight in that span.

I think I can rest my case here.

ah....I think too much attention is given to the MVP alway...
In my view, the biggest prize is the finals MVP, because that comes with a ring. 8)

Where the fuck did I say Shaq leaving = Lakers downfall?? Get your fuckin anti Lakers-bias outta here!! And quit eating the media's shit too. Each word you say is exactly what the media says. What's next? Kobe and Phil can't coexist cuz of what Phil wrote in his book!?!? Face the facts: The Lakers are the centre of the NBA universe. Just check the ratings. This is exactly like the Classic Rika vs MM argument. You either hate her or love her. Nothing in between. And when you hate her, you will come up with the most ridiculous bullshit explanation.

Thassit. Let's just talk about the fuckin game...

SUNS ARE TOAST!! And I thought Brent Barry scoring on his own team woulda brought SOME karma. Joe Johnson looked good but shit, they couldn't nail enough 3's ...

 Fuck yes. Miami takes back home court and Shaq had his best game of the playoffs (statistically tho)

Here's the highlights: using this new service (kinda like Rapidshare but with better limits)

http://www.qfile.de/dl/10535/050529_pistons_heat_3.avi.html

Some say the officiating was bad yesterday...I think it was justification for the ticky tack fouls that the Pistons always manage to draw. Like Billups throwing himself into a crowd and expecting a foul every time or Hunter getting away with two hands on his man. I was just laughing my ass off as Sheed finally got T'd up. Miami too was getting into foul trouble (esp. the last game) but Eddie Jones stepped it up!!

Pistons might take the next game but Miami has the momentum for sure.

and Suns will lose again tonite!! Big Shot Rob is on FIRE! but GEEZ. they look good in the 3rd so who knows. You'd think Phoenix would put up some sorta fight. Seattle and Phoenx at least coulda had a 3 point contest.

No doubt. How about Wallace(s), Prince and Hunter flopping like bitches!? Got Shaq and Zo in foul trouble and Wade was defenseless...f-f-f-uckin Doleac got the most minutes!! BAH!! Get Mr. Wang in there!

I knew shit was gonna go down when BOTH Joey Crawford and Jack Nies (sp?) were there. :x

The sweetest play was when Zo blocked, and Wade threw the ball behind DJ and then DJ threw it back to Wade who tossed it to Eddie Jones for the baseline JAM!!

Miami can take 2 outta 3 with the homecourt. But shit looks like its gonna go 7!!

I caught the game on ESPN...

Basically it was really tight throughout, Nash and Amare was unstoppable in the first half, scored something like 37 of the 49 points in the first hallf..and Tony Parker was ineffective (Joe Johnson stood back around 2 metres from him, so forcing him to take open jump shots whihc he missed more than he hit)...

Then Parker start hitting jumpers and three pointers in the start of the second half, bring out the lead to nine points....then it's pretty much exchange blows between the two, no one can stop Amare and No one can stop the Ginobili/Duncan pick and roll.

Now for Miami to go through!

I only saw the last few minutes of the 4th quarter.  Too bad for the Suns, and especially for Nash.  Chances are this was the best opportunity he's had (so far) to get to the NBA finals.

Oh well, at least he's still got the MVP honours for this season.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...Barrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr-be-cuuuuuuuuuuuuue

Change my mind. I want Mourning and Christian Laettner to win so I'm rooting for Heat now.

1992 Draft:
Shaq 1st pick
Mourning 2nd pick
Laettner 3rd pick

its not often that happens
