lol Then bad teams would be fighting to get the crappiest record.

Boston definately needed to be in the top 3, though, I think. Atlanta got extremely lucky and more bad news for my Suns  :depressed:

which team really needs Greg Oden?

the new chinese guy Yi Jian Lian is comparisons to Dirk. He admires A.I and Tracy.

They always say any hyped up international player is gonna resemble Dirk. Check out Darko and that Bargnani guy

Tough break for the Cavs last night, not being to win yet again in Detroit, and losing the game by the same identical score as in game 1.
It seems like LeBron isn't capable of taking over a game to get the win for his team.....at least not at this still early point in his career.

thank God the Jazz won, now all they have to do is win 3 more times so that it wouldn't be another boring final.

^That would be so crazy if that ever did happen.
Would have to wonder where would he end up at, and which team could actually afford to try and get Kobe.
That would pretty much ensure that the Lakers would end up at the very bottom of the West, if Kobe ever got traded.

Not too sure if Jerry West can come back to Lakers next season, since afaik, he's going to finish up the last year in his contract at Memphis.

The analyst said the best place for kobe might be chicago. Imagine a lineup of Kobe, Deng, Wallace, Hinrich.  :D

That was bullshit. Here's the word from Kobe himself on his website, http://truth.kb24.com/

Quote from: Kobe Bryant
The Truth: I haven't asked for a trade
Was up you all.

Haven't checked in in a while,

I'm sure you guys have been hearing all this and that and are not sure what to think or believe.

The Truth section was created for times such as these.

So here's tha deal:

I have NOT asked to be traded, I don't want to be traded and I have given no ultimatums or demands of being traded.

I love it here in LA, my family loves it here.

I've been a laker fan my whole life. A REAL Laker fan! I'm talkin Silk Wilks days, and know the history of the Lakers going back to George Mikan era. I WANT to retire a Laker and contend for titles.

It is my opinion that Mr Clutch, one of the greatest GMs the game has ever seen would b able to get us to back to that level sooner rather than later.

If he is available, then it makes sense to give him the reigns and let him do what he does BEST. I KNOW I can trust him to build us an elite team.

I'm tired of losing and I'm sure you guys are tired of it as well.

Now is the time to step up and make some things happen. We have all have waited patiently for three years...Let's GO!

- Strength and Honor

and another interview today:

Quote
Bryant said repeatedly he isn't looking to waive his no-trade clause and leave the Lakers. He's just frustrated with losing and is searching for answers -- but trying to focus on his upcoming USA Basketball opportunity so he can keep a more positive mindset.

When asked what his message is that he wants people to know above all, he said: "I don't want them to misunderstand what I'm saying. I'm not making any ultimatums or demands. My job is to play basketball. That's it. And that's what I'm going to continue trying to do to the best of my ability. But what I want to do is win."

Ain't no doubt The Logo is coming back  :pimp:

Even when the Lakers aren't in the playoffs, they're top news

How bout dem NBA Playoffs?? Fuckin Derron Williams going off like a tuna in the big blue sea! Flu or no flu, Spurs sure dominated. Woke dem the fuck up after Game 3. Too bad Fish :(

Kobe wouldn't have that no-trade clause in his contract if he didn't want to be a laker for life :yep:  8)
if anything this was a wake-up call for laker management
getting Jerry West back would be a good idea but as long as Jim Buss is in control of this team, i don't see it happening

Where there's smoke there's usually fire. Many baseball players have no trade clauses in their contracts and are willing to waive it under the right circumstances. Many have done so. I don't see why it would be any different for a basketball player. I'm not saying Kobe is lying and asked to be traded but I do think he would waive his no trade clause if it was to a team that could win a championship next year.

You know Kobe should really stay in his place as a player. He's such a crybaby. Wasn't he the one that blew up the team when he didn't get along with Shaq and wanted him traded.

lol, but this is coming from a laker fan  :yep:.  of course anything can happen but right now, it doesn't look like he's going anywhere does it  8)
Shaq was too jealous of Kobe, it wouldn't have lasted anyways.  He was also getting fat and lazy at the time, glad they traded him

anyways, are lakers gonna make a move on ron artest or not? i don't think they can get any of the big names...

I'd really like to see the Cavs pull this one out their arse... starting to look more and more like last year. At least the Finals would be a bit more entertaining... *remembers when Duncan got posterized by LeBron* ...even if the Cavs get swept.

yeah right..Shaq, Malone, Payton, Phil Jackson..they were all too jealous of Kobe...it was all their problems!!!  Lakers sucks because of Kobe's teammates...it's all their faults...everybody around Kobe is crap.  Oh man..give me a break
When will the lakers' fans realize that Kobe is a poison!!!  I hope Kobe would stay in lakers forever...i don't wanna see him ruin another team!
