Yao Ming will be starting for the West for the next few years unless there is a much better centre than him in the west. i would agree that most of yao ming's votes would come from chinese. but if u really look at the nba nowadays, which big men is there to vote into the all-star game? u can make a case for camby. but i think most ppl would see Yao in the game more than camby. NBA nowadays are lacking good quality centres.

by the way, yao had another superb game. but t-mac was no where to be found in their lost vs the suns. fuck it, t-mac better get his ass together wit 20+ left to go.

Hey. you know what was the funniest thing in the NBA this weekend? KG getting ejected for tossing a ball into the stands. Seems ..eh, OK fine. But the guy who got "hit" acted up ... leaving the court IN A STRETCHER!! dude was just nicked and he's acting like he wants to sue KG. Dumbass!

well he can put all his pressure all on the court. thats what i do. i play ball once a week because i just wanna use all my energy and play my hardest just to get rid of all the pressure i've been having that week. same could apply to t-mac.

As good as yao is rite now, t-mac needs to show up to win. they will only make the playoffs if t-mac shows up. he really needs to get his act together and help the team in the remaining 20+ gms.

I think the first thing Colangelo needs to do is to find a coach to replace Sam Mitchell.  Then tries to re-sign Mike James and Bosh.  Get rid of the bust Arujo (sp).

He have tons to do imo.

Barkley went up to him during the all star break and told him to go to the game to find his relief. I'd give him a couple more games to get back..

It was a tough game. Nothing was goin down from behind the arc (except for T-Mac). Good game though. Hopefully they win the next one. I wanna see whole Southwest division get into the playoffs. :o

Dammit Finley.... :( ....

Isn't it gay how the Spurs and the Mavs have the same record but the Spurs are ranked 1st and the Mavs are ranked 4th. I would've liked it if David Stern fixed that problem before the season started instead of waiting till next year.

Kobe becomes youngest NBA player to score 16,000 points!!  :w00t:

Quote
Bryant was 27 years and 192 days old -- four days younger than Wilt Chamberlain when the Hall of Famer scored his 16,000th career point on March 5, 1964. Michael Jordan was the third-youngest, reaching the mark at 28 years and 31 days.

Congrats Sir!! He's back wearing the pantyhose again.
