Quote
Kaman: Evans pulled testicles, prompting outburst

LOS ANGELES -- Chris Kaman received a flagrant foul. Reggie Evans may have instigated it.

The alleged circumstances, however, make it one of the more odd altercations during the NBA playoffs.

What exactly happened is what the NBA is trying to determine after Kaman's claim that Evans grabbed his testicles and "pulled hard" during Saturday's NBA playoff game in Denver, according to a report in Monday's Los Angeles Times. Kaman responded by shoving Evans and was assessed the flagrant foul.

Kaman reported his version of what happened to the officials and repeated it during an interview Sunday with NBA security, according to the Times. TV replays showed Evans putting his hand under Kaman's shorts during a battle under the boards.

"I told [the NBA] in complete detail what happened," Kaman said, according to the Times. "The three refs also knew what happened."

Kaman said he showed restraint in not punching Evans.

"With what we're trying to do, I didn't want to get thrown out," he said, according to the Times. "I thought about it, but I knew what would happen. "One of the refs said he would have knocked [him] out. It was crazy."

"When I saw it on TV, it was like, 'Wow,' " Clippers guard Sam Cassell said. "I asked the referees about it at halftime, and Jess Kersey, who has been in the league for [29] years, said he's never seen anything like it.

You know what, Reggie is a good guy. I think he just lost it for a minute."

I love that Kaveman getting his nuts grabbed by Evans story. When watching that video, if you don't flinch when Reggie reaches in - turn in your man card into Sexy Beam NOW!

AND WHAT? Evans didn't get suspended or at least charged for sexual assault? Like whoever said, that's helluva expensive date!!

One surprise of the playoffs, how Sacto is recharged with Ron Artest in the lineup. They came pretty close to taking a 3-2 lead :o

and Dwayne Wade, still gets no props amongst the Kobe, Nash, LBJ, Dirk, Pisstons. Dude landed on his ribs yet comes back into the game all injected up.

Last nite's game was purely filled with Phoenix playing dirty. Flopping. Just cuz you're branded as a finesse run and gun team, don't mean you go and flop. Playing physical is part of playoff basketball. Kobe got a knot on his head and no call. So does flopping and pulling wrestling moves justify the means?

Plain and simple. Don't Fuck With Kobe. Raja Bell does NOT wanna wake him up. He's not gonna ignite for 40 or 50. Everyone's gonna play disciplined basketball on the floor of Staples.

Kwame Kwame Kwame. Accused of stomping a woman before tip off. Or the girlfriend/sister of Boris Diaw. I'm sure it's another bitch looking for money like with Kobe, but man, that couldn't be good. He was totally off his game too, picking up all those early fouls and opened up the fuckin lane for Nash and that damn Frenchie Diaw.

I loved the post game comments. "It doesn't disturb me. It excites me." Kobe just wants to murder you. BRING ON THE OCTAGON!  Fuckin suspension. Suns going to the Vlade Divac School of FLOP! DON'T PISS OFF KOBE!!!! Phil Jackson: "We want him on the floor."

But really. Too much inconsistent calls, flops are getting called waaaaaay too much. See Tyson Chandler getting Shaq in foul trouble. See Steve Nash and the entire Suns crew. It just disrupts the flow of the game. You watch the old games of the 80s, you'd see guys knocking over each other but none of the whining.

Nash, I never considered him a pride of Canada. Yeah, he pimps cheap ass Canadian computers. But he didn't want to play for the Olympic team. If he's so patriotic he woulda played for less money for the Raptors. And now with his bitch ass comments about Kobe. Big thumbs down.

The only consistent way to defend The World's Greatest Player Kobe Bryant is to hit him and trip him. Ask Bruce Bowen. Raja Bell got his just due. He's a punk bitch and lacks the class. Good - give him one game. Cuz that's all the games the Suns have left in their season anyways.

Said Raja: "I have no respect for him, I think he's a pompous, arrogant individual." Earlier on Dan Patrick. He said he was "in the heat of the moment" ...  but asked if he had remorse. He said he'd do it again. Punk bitch!

Said Kobe: "Who is this kid? Does he know me? I don't think he was hugged enough as a kid."

I'm gonna enjoy Gilbert Arenas, Caron Butler, and The Wiz beating The Chosen One and his double digit turnovers tonite.

I feel for Raja though, he did get elbowed in the face a couple times before he knocked Kobe down. That would've pissed alot of ppl off too.

Sacramento needs to win game 6!!!! Make them Spurs tired before they play the MAvs.

Evans got lucky!!! You can't grab a guy like that and not get suspended -_-.

Remember Kwame elbowing Diaw?  I feel his punishment wasn't severe enough.  If you watch the replays, it was a pretty nasty elbow.

Inconsistencies with suspensions...if Evans doesn't get suspended, something is definitely wrong at the NBA offices.  I assume they're still reviewing the play.  Maybe they are unsure how to report this to the media..."Evans has been suspended 1 game for homosexual misconduct???"

I like how Raja called Kobe "pompous." It's a word that is rarely used by NBA players. He used it correctly too.

Then Kobe responds by calling Raja a "kid" when Raja is older than him. lol

wahahaha!!!! tim thomas is fucking clutch! i thought SUNS will choke away down the stretch, but tim thomas saved the day. As much as i dont like kobe, he is the best player in the league nowadays. Although the SUNS' defence were horrible, kobe made some sickass shots.

i think this is the only series that is more offence oriented than the other series. both teams just play awful defence.

I really didn't expect the LAL-PHX series to go the distance. I hope that game 7 won't be plagued by bad officiating and tempers flaring as they claimed were present in the previous games. If it weren't for these, the series would surely be a classic. Well, I think Bell's comments on Kobe just made it a classic already. :D

i know <_<, Deron Williams doesn't deserve to be on first team since he had mediocre performance all year round, Felton averged more than Williams, avg assists more than Williams, had 13 double-double, while Williams only have five and Williams, Felton also had more impact on the Bobcats than Williams had on Jazz.... so i don't see how Williams is better than Felton in any shape or form... also Felton kicked Williams' ass in UCAA Championship

the only way I can think of Williams over Felton is "Williams was picked before Felton in the draft...." which was a mistake <_<
Life is so much fun when you are able to find and piss someone off everyday and watch them make a fool out of themselves... thatz Life for ya

PROPS!! Shaq finally didn't get in foul trouble and got his 30-20. Heat played a solid  game with the Bulls.

DAMN!! Brain Fart on Kobe's shot with 6 seconds left TOO

Lakers are gonna come back, Game 7 I'll be tuned in. Good job, NBA Ratings thru da roof. Sorry Hello! Ongaku Radio @ JPHiP Radio. Unless dillpops does a striptease, Kobe & Cru will be on my mind. :P

LOVE Kobe's quote. (He's becoming a regular Phil Jackson Prodigy/Shaq Junior)

when told that Lamar Odom was really down on himself for not securing the rebound Tim Thomas eventually converted into a trey (which led to OT and the loss), Kobe was asked how he keeps guys from dwelling on mistakes.

"You just put it behind you. There's nothing you can do about it. You know what I mean? After you go to the bathroom, you don't stand there and look at what you just dropped in there. At some point, you gotta flush it, man."

LMAO! :lmao:

Can't wait for Kobe to brush the Suns off his shoulder!

And watch Raja FLOP FLOP PLOP PLOP!

OH NO! Arenas misses both free throws at the end...Damon Jones for the WIN!
As much as I know how good Lebron is, I sure do dislike watching him succeed.  I don't know why, I just find him boring to watch.

GOD DAMMIT!!!! WHAT A GAME!!!!!

T______T Wizards...my heart goes out to you guys...Arenas played his heart out and missed the 2 free throws in the end. MAN!!! They had this game!!! Cavs would not go away!

Damon Jones didn't play 1 whole minute of the game and he scored the winning shot!

I don't like watching Lebron excel either only because hes so good and people are comparing him to MJ already. He threatens the title of MJ as "the best basketball player ever."
