Blonde short hair is kind of iffy look for a lot of Japanese women. Only certain ones (Like Yossy) can pull it off well.

It wasn't a bad pitch actually (especially after that disastrous throw a few years back with Miki at a Rakuten Eagles game).

Guess it's time to fill out the survey....

My Ayaya story: I actually discovered H!P through a pic of Charmy (and subsequently Ayaka's English lessons). But it didn't take long and I saw a video of "Suna wo kamu blablabla" which had just come out at the time. And well, that was the start of becoming the No.1 Aya fan outside of Japan. My highlight of course was seeing her live last Xmas at the Dinner Show.

The first thing that came to my mind when I saw Aya's new style (and then after that Miki's new shorter haircut) was that they look like Sailor Uranus and Neptune now

The Swallows actually have pretty cool jerseys...why can't American teams look like that? I hate all the "tradition" and "throwback" BS in North American sports.

I was wondering that myself; it almost looks like they were going for "Ayaya" (the dual 8s could be pronounced as "yaya"), but the "1" is the odd man out because in that system (apparently called goroawase, which I did not know until I just looked it up) that would more than likely be pronounced "hi" or "i" (as there is no "a" analogue). "Iyaya"?

So...I dunno.

(Oh, and her blonde hair reminds me of old-style Tsunku. Or a blonde John Lennon.)

Actually I think the answer is rather prophane...
The team manager Takeda wears the number 88. So for the VIP they just added a 1 in front of it.
