Minami was in a rush. She was runnin as fast as she could, looking everywhere to find them. Suddenly, she turned right and saw them at the end of the street.
She rushed, very worried and upset at the same time. He was carrying her so badly, her clothes were ripped and half of her ass was barely covered.
He looked at the midget, drunk and numb.
"Put her down!" Her voice was so cold.
He didn't move, completly wasted.
"I said don't touch her! "
She pushed him away from Atsuko, eyeing him.
"You just had to look after her! You should be ashamed of yourself! Look at her! How can you??"
"But...she was..."
"Drunk, yes, and she's crying! You're so miserable! Don't you think sometimes? Leave her like this, in public?"
"You...seemed so nice on TV..."
"Yeah? Well, I'm not nice when it comes to Atsuko. Now leave. And don't you dare say a word about this to anyone!"
Her face became suddenly full of gentleness, looking at Atsuko.
"Atsuko, baby, can you hear me?" She asked as she caress her cheek.
"Mi-Minami?"
Her voice was so weak, she slowly raised her head.
"It's me baby, I'm here now."
She took off her jacket and put it on the Ace's shoulders.
"Here, it's gonna be okay."
"Minami...I'm...sorry. I...They..."
"Sssh...it's okay. I'm gonna take you on my back okay, the house is near."
She lifted her gently, Atsuko wrapped her arms around her neck, her head nestled into her nape. The captain began to walk slowly, but the air was fresh, and she didn't want Aachan to catch a cold.
"Minami is so kind...I should have...stay with you."
"It's okay."
"Mi...nami. I love you..."
She didn't answer. Five minutes later they arrived at the house. The captain took her to the room, laying her on the bed. She couldnt' help but sigh, Atsuko seemed so sad. Minami sat next to her, moving her hair away from her afce.
"You're so beautiful...How could they did that...?"
She noticed that she had a wound on her arm.
"How did you get this? I need to clean up it."
She left the room and came back with disinfectant and bandages. Slowly, she cleaned her wound.
Atsuko opened her eyes and looked at Minami.
"Are you gonna leave? Are you upset? Because...I..."
Aachan, she approached her face, I'm staying with you. And I'm not upset, well, I am, butit's because of this guy!
"He seemed nice..."
"Yeah, well, he's a morron...You have to rest."
"How did you know..."
"Yuko called me. She said you were crying. And drunk."
"I'm sorry...she began to cry again. I'm so miserable..."
"Aachan, it's okay, don't cry."
"There were photographers..."
"I know. I'm gonna handle this, I swear."
"You don't have to..."she sobbed.
"You are the one I love; so of course I have to."
She covered her fragile body with a blanket.
"Now you have to sleep. If you need something, I'm next door."
"No!" she grabbed her hand. "I want you to come her."
"Where?"
"With me. Please..."
Mnami couldn't resist, she slipped under the cover, next to Atsuko.
"Take me in your arms, I'm so cold."
The captain obeyed, feeling relieved when the girl's head rested on her shoulder. The crying girl put her hand on Minami's belly.
"I've missed you."
"Me too", looking at her, "you are so beautiful. Please don't see that guy again..."
"Okay. I don't deserve you. My...knight in shinning armor..."she began to fall asleep.
" I hope one day you will marry me..."
Minami smiled, Atsuko was sleeping, it was not so bad after all. She was her's, and yes, one day, she will definitively marry her.
