Chapter 43: Choosing Between Friends and Close Comrades

Yuki’s POV

Now, after a few loud screams and inaudible words (probably she was cussing under her breath), another child was born.

“Twins… I can’t believe this...”

“You know, I can’t either. I wonder how Jun’s shaping up with the news...”

Jun’s POV

“So...”

“Yeah...”

“Twins.”

“Yeah….”

“Oh, okay. Umm… so what now?”

“Well, since you and I are colonels, we need to...”

“To?”

“Well you know what they said, we need to distribute roles.”

“Well, what about Mayu be brigadier general? I mean, we have a lot of troops to lead.”

“Sure, I mean she’s very capable.”

“What about Sayu and Milky?”

“Wait before we get through this, I just want to say I might MIA for a while, since you know, I now have a girlfriend and 2 kids to look after. So I want you, Yuki to be colonel-commandment.”

“You sure about that?”

“Yes, I am pretty sure, my good friend.”

My thoughts were mainly on Rena and our children, mainly because of their safety and protection. I don’t know what I would do without them.

“Anyway, Sayu and Milky… Both could be Major-Generals”

“Yeah but that feels irrelevant….”

Sometimes, I wondered why life was difficult…...

Yeah, Jun's going to have to take care of both Rena and the twins for the mean time.
I wonder what gender the twins are?

Who else would it be? I mean Yuki is a very bright inventor

Chapter 44: Wondering Why The World Goes Round

Rena’s POV

“My stomach feels so empty now~” I said as I gobbled down most of the food they brought me. I’ve never felt so hungry in my life!

“No surprise. Both of those little ones must’ve done double time.”

I laughed at Jun’s remark as he looked at the sleeping babies in their cribs.

One boy. One girl. Both healthy and beautiful.

“So, what should we name them?” he asked me.

“For the girl… Rin.”

“Why?”

“I dunno… I just like it.” I giggled. “You choose the boy’s name.”

“Alright…” He took a good look at the small boy and smiled. “How about… Mizuki?”

“Isn’t that a girl’s name?” I said with a chuckle. He also laughed.

“Okay then, how about Hiroshi?”

“Now that sounds like an old man’s name! ”

“Well, what do you want me to pick?! Something like… I don’t know, Hikaru?”

“Hikaru… Perfect.”

I knelt over and kissed Jun’s cheek.

“Absolutely perfect. Just like Papa.”

“Hey, Rin-chan’s going to be just like Mama, too, right?”

I couldn’t help but smile. He’s surprisingly a lot calmer in this situation.

“Wait, what about you?” I asked, a little bit confused.

“Since Kai and Nakanishi told me about the new army, I decided to go MIA for you and the children.”

“EH?! Then who’s gonna be leading them, if it’s not you or them?”

“Yuki, of course.”

I wonder how both Yuki and Mayu are getting on with their married life…

Sayu’s POV

Milky and I walked down the streets of Osaka, holding hands. She didn’t seem to care what was going on.

“Nee, Miyuki...”

“Nani~?”

“Um, why did you want to come here all of a sudden?”

“No reason~” That has to be a lie.

“Tell me the truth, Miyuki. I know you wouldn’t drag me here for no reason.”

“Eh?” She looked at me, so cutely and innocently. But I knew, behind those eyes, she was hiding something.
 
“I’ve known you for 10 and a half years, Miyuki. I know you inside out.”

She sighed and let out a small giggle.

“I can’t hide anything from you, huh, Sayu-nii?”

“Eh?” I was confused at this point, what made her be this mischievous?

“I thought we were having a date, Sayu-nii?” She said whilst pouting at me.

“EEEEEHH?!”

I honestly was so confused.. A date?! What was she thinking?

Chapter 46: Be my forever

Sayu’s POV

“M-Miyuki...”

“Nani, Sayu-nii?”

“W-why are you doing this all of the sudden?”

“Because I love you (<3)”

“Milky.”

“C’mon! Let’s enjoy today while we still have it!” She started pulling me forward as we entered the amusement park.

“Where do you wanna go first, then Milky?” I asked, followed by Miyuki pointing to the roller coaster in the distance. At least it wasn’t the one this amusement park was known for…

“Let’s go~”

“Hey, hold on, Milky!”

I ran after her, expecting her to slow down. She showed no signs of backing down either.

“Come on! Let’s just have fun today!”

She took me literally everywhere. The ferris wheel, the roller coaster, the mirror maze. She really DID want to do everything with me.

She even got me to win her a giant pink bear in a bottle game.

Then again, I’ve never seen Miyuki so happy… why is she acting like this all of the sudden?

Later that night…

“Today was fun!” Miyuki said happily as she hugged her big pink bear.

I finished my takoyaki and then she took me up this big hill, looking down at the night view of Osaka.

“It’s pretty tonight,” I said, looking up at the stars.

“Nee, nee,” she placed her chin on my shoulder, looking up at me. “Look at me.”

“....”

“Sayu-nii, what do you think of me?”

“Eh? I...”

“You like me, don’t you?”

“Milky, of course I like you.”

“But you don’t like me the way I do.” She stood up, still holding her bear. “I love you, Sayu.”

“Y-you… what?”

“I love you. I really, really love you. I mean it. I’m not just saying it like I always do, when I want someone to do something for me. I’m saying because I deeply love you from the bottom of my heart.”

“I...”

“I’ll say it as many times as I have to until you believe me! I love you more than just a friend, or even like a brother. I love you as a person! I want you to be my boyfriend!”

“Miyuki, I...”

“And I’ll scream it from the tallest tower for EVERYONE to hear! I’m NOT ashamed of it! I’ll keep saying it until my throat is sore! I love you! I LOVE YOU!! I-!!!”

Before I knew it, I quickly cut her off with a kiss, silencing her screams. She dropped the bear at our feet and her arms went limp.

I parted from her and saw her shocked expression.

“I love you, too, Milky.”

“...”

“You could’ve just said so. Haha...”

“.....”

“Miyu--” She suddenly hugged me and was crying into my chest.

“I LOVE YA!!! I LOVE YA SO MUCH, SAYU!!!”

“Miyuki… I love you, too...”

“Does this mean..?”

“Yup. SayaMilky is official now.”
