Anyway, this is a wMatsui OneShot.

A/N: A little intro. This fic has two POVs, Rena and Jurina's ones. I haven't write "who say what", but it is simple to understand. Oh, and, you will find words and phrases similar, don't worry, they are not hallucinations . Enjoy!

Time Machine.

"The moments are passed, the promises are broken, just a time machine could bring us back."


Every day I wake up without you, in this cold bed.
I'm feel like a prisoner without way out.
I would like that this was a nightmare, I would like wake up with the tears in my eyes, run to you and grip you strong, making you almost hurt.

When you decided to leave me, my heart has stopped to beat.
Sorry if I always think of you, sorry if I dream about you steadily, sorry if I dedicate all my thoughts to you.

I miss your sweet smile, that just you have, that made me feel warm; I miss your caresses, that calmed me; I miss your words, those words that were only for me; I miss your body, that only I could touch.

But now, look at you, look at me, look at us.
You left me, but this isn't the worse thing.
You are far away from me, but this isn't the worse thing, again.
You don't love me any more, but it is fine; it is not your fault if your feelings for me are changed, maybe it is mine.
The worse thing is that your smile, your caresses, your words, your body, you are for another person. Everything that one day was mine, today is for that person.
And if I only think about it, I become crazy.

Can you see me now?
Can you see how pathetic am I?
The tears fall down by my eyes, wetting my cheeks.
I would like to feel you again. I would like to have a time machine for bring us back.

Emptiness.

I am a stranger, but You know me.
I’m not fragile, but I am crying.
I’m not scared, but I am screaming.

I have not an heart. I am empty, but, now strangely I can feel the pain.
That empty space is hurting now. It hurt, yes. Why?

This darkness that surrounds me is growing. It almost suffocates me.

I need a way out. I need a light.
A light for brighten my darkness, a light for relieve my pain.

And I know who should be my light: You.

Wow, again, it's been so long since the last time. How are you all?

Well today I'm here with a MaYuki OneShot (*whisper* my first Mayuki)... It is a request!!
I hope you will find it good but mostly that the person that required it will like it.

Coin.

“Now it is mine!”

I have hated that affirmation.
When you said those words, I could not answer because you were too far away from me.
You ran along the street.

It was winter.

The sky was clear.
The roofs of the houses were covered with a white blanket; trees, decorated with white lace.
The windows were now full of Christmas decorations. In the air you could breath perfume of sweets.
People were busy to buy presents.
Christmas was near.

You were there, sat on a cold bench that was next to a streetlight.

I went up to you. I sat down next to you on that bench.

“So, Mayu? Why did you run away and why did you take the coin?!” I asked firmly, almost with an angry tone.

“I've already said it: now it is mine.”

 Again, I have hated the fact that you did not ask for permission.
You were like a spoiled child and, like one of them, your lips drew that smile that only you have.

“And why should I give it to you?”

“For help. It will help me to make my future decisions.”
In that case your smile was so sweet that I could not help but smile in my turn.

“You are not old enough to make decisions on your own?” I said.

The smile that was bright before, now it was off.  I do not know why, but I felt guilty.

“Oh, yes Yuki, but... There are decisions too hard to take... This coin will choose for me.”

Your deep glare, was empty, after those words.
I have been just able to say “Okay”.
In that situation it was the better thing to do, I thought.

But then, I saw you, crying. My heart, broken.

One moment after, you stood up and, with your eyes, escaped to mine, down, you went away; with that coin in your hands.


For days, maybe for weeks, for me years, we lost contacts.
I thought the coin continued to advise you to don't write to me, to don't call me or to don't look for me.

After our distance, you called me, and we decided to meet each other in that place where we separated last time.

I arrived and I sat on that bench. It was colder than the last time. The streetlight was on and issued a soft light that made me warmer.

You came from afar.

I saw your figure every seconds nearer. They looked like centuries that I have not seen you. You were so beautiful. You wore a pair of tight jeans, a long beige coat that it did not let you to see beyond and, around the neck, the scarf that I gave to you on your birthday. I knew it would have been good on you.


You sat next to me.

Silence.

I would have liked to break it, but I did not know how.
Like the last time in my throat there were not words.

Suddenly a sound. Not mine, yours.

An unexpected, faint “Sorry” came from your lips. They were almost trembling.
And, again, you stood up and you tried to run away. I thought “not again” so, without think with an impulsive gesture, I hugged you from back and I gripped you strong.

I whispered into your ear “Please, Mayu, stop. Let me save us.”
I felt her breath stopped.

“Sorry, Yuki.”

Again that word: “Sorry”.

“What have we done wrong?” I said you with a feeble tone. On the other hand, it was the only tone that I could use: I just could not do anything, I felt myself weak.

I let the grip. I thought that you would go, instead, you turned back to me.
Your chocolate eyes, finally, after long time, met mine again.

“Do you remember?” You started to talk. “Do you remember what have I said about this coin?” You showed me it. That coin that you took from me.

“Of course...” I said. “I remember all of your words. Has it helped you?”

A pause, then you spoke. “At start it worked as long as it had to choose whether to call you or not, write to you or not... But then...” Your words were broken by your warm tears that wet your cheeks.
Afterwards you continued “Then when I have done my last Heads or Tails for choose between Forget her or Fight for her, do you know what is happened?”

The answer was obvious, but I just reply with a “What?”
You looked me and wiped your tears. “Nothing. I just could not look at the coin, at the response. I could not let a coin to choose about us, Yuki. I was afraid.”

I remained in silence. I could not believe that answer from you.

I looked at your eyes look nothingness. So I came nearer you and I have stretched my arms around your body, hoping that you not move.

I embraced you gently. At bottom, you were my sweet flower, so fragile.

“You know, Mayu, I am egoist right now. I am glad that you were afraid.”

I took the coin from your hands and I put it in my poket.

“If the choice would have been the to leave me, well... I would never have wanted to lose you. Next time, Mayu, tell me everything and I will fight for you against everything, I will protect you.”

The snow started to fall down softly on the ground wetting whatever thing it met on its path.

“From now on, Mayu, stay with me... forever.”
