Another scandal that goes down the drain.

Actually, I wasn't expecting anything bad to happen, Miki has this mature, independant, "I don't give a fuck what you think" attitude, so it's hard to scandalize over this.

The magazine didn't even have the pictures on the front page (since those were shitty), but as some ppl pointed out, it's publicity.

I hated the pessimism of some guys in this thread (other forums were much more optimistic, cheer up guys), assembler, try to be more optimistic, being pessimistic is contagious you know.

In the past the person with the dirt would usually be bought off by the agency.

However, this just doesn't happen anymore. I believe that ever since the
Yakuza threat over the toilet video,UFA doesn't pay out anymore.

I am guessing these people taking pictures, who know how to
hide and follow people, are yakuza.

i'm glad this is blowing over nicely, not that i know too much about what happening in Japan, but with the ways things are going(which i heard), UFA is not getting involved, Miki is just continuing work as normal and all is rite with the world. they just have to comment on a few things and byebye...

u know the more i think about it, i'm actually more wota-like than normal fans, but less-wota-like than actual wotas. i'm like half-wota, hehe, cuz when i heard things like this, it's upset me, a little, then after thinking it over, i accept the situation, whatever it is, and although still a lil sad, still happy for the gal(s) and support their decision and whatnot.

whoaa!!!!! it's either a hit or miss deal ain't it? either way, what great timing, with GAM album and tours. kinda a blessing in disguise. sounds kinda real, but i think's it's coincidence. but if they really do want to help, probably cuz they report the first aibon incident back in FEB 2006, but the one which really destroy Aibon's H!P career is the main who was Friday MAG's editor and the current editor of the mag that reported aibon second scandal, which ultimately ruin it. Friday even tried to make up for things with H!P/UFA, with interviewing Aibon about her upcoming comeback, though it never did happen, btw, what mag was it that reported Aibon second scandal?
of all the H!P scandals that Friday reported, the most devastating one is Aibon, which cost her her career, the other ones also kinda affect their status but they weren't fired or anything... for example, nothing really happen to Ayaya with her scandal about supposed boyfriend Tachibana keita, and the yaguchi one, though she resigned from MM, she still part of H!P and doing things H!P-related along with others, so she, in a way, is safe.

I'm really happy to learn that Miki is not fired and/or hasn't quit MoMusu.

doinkies guesses she'll probably have to be more careful in the future, though, to make sure those Fridoink reporters don't get her again.

Well, by coming out with this statement, UFA have basically told FRIDAY to stick their story where the sun doesn't shine. I forsee 2 possibilities as to how FRIDAY may react:

a) FRIDAY will come back next week with new pics of Miki & Shouji holding hands or smooching. Personally I say this is HIGHLY unlikely because considering how when FRIDAY tries to get as much "proof" as they can when they break a scandal, if they had pics like these would have already published them. If they did not already have pics like these, they'd have to send the stalkerazzi out to "catch them red-handed" so to speak. Now considering that all parties involved will be exercising a lot more caution/discretion about the whole thing, getting these pics will now be much more difficult, if at all possible.

b) FRIDAY likely won't bother doing anything since by next week this'll be old news and they'll have moved on to the next story. Magazines like this have the attention span of a hyperactive kid with ADHD.

Considering the conciseness and conviction of UFA's statement, my money's on "B".
