First of all, if it sounds too good to be live, no heavy breathing, no indication of any trouble during singing, or the way they're singing doesn't match the audio, then I come to the conclusion that it was lipsynched or patched onto the finished product. Live vocals sound like the person is giving their all and you can feel the power they put into it. It also involves yelling when you can't hit those high notes either. Good examples of this are the Momoiro Kataomoi perf in the concert. Sayumi's live and studio recorded vocals differ. Her live vocals are more powerful where her studio vocals are really soft and more cutesy. You can tell the difference. On the other hand, Aichan's vocals are hard to pick out because her voice is more solid.

The way I see it, I'm not going to force you to believe the vocals are lipsynched, I'm stating my opinion.

A singer won't "yell" the higher notes, they'll try to hit them and sometimes get flat, but I rarely ever hear any singer try to "yell the high notes". I can't actually say whether this is lipsynched or not (my opinion at least) because it's still downloading. But if you're gonna start saying stuff like they "yell the high notes", I find that to be a little ridiculous?

In some cases, they would yell the high notes too. Sure they would go flat, but you would still try to hit it my forcing it out through a little bit of yelling. I don't want to bash performers in H!P, but some weaker singers tend to yell a bit.

Yell or not doesn't depend on poor singer or good singer. The song itself is the main factor and maybe Tsunku's order as well. One of them I can thing of is Ayaya's Goodbye Natsuo, which she yells on high notes just because the song has to be that way.

For what it's worth, my vote goes toward definitely not CD versions. Maybe it's re-recorded, definitely retouched, but Onna ni Sachi Are in particular (haven't watched all of them though) sounds nothing like the CD version. Retouched, yes, but... live.

And it's not wishful thinking, because I am one of those bizarre people who don't mind lipsyncing.

Just watched the 1st few performances after getting the huge mpeg version from H!O. It was great, the girls really look good in that "whatever" costumes they were in.

And how come Yossi, Mai, Ayaka came out suddenly, is there an introduction in the actual "live" program? Tanpopo re-united was godlike

Love them.

Whatever it is i'm gonna enjoy the 2nd half of the performance no matter full of or no lipsync because i think performance doesn't neccessarily need to mean live singing. It just mean that they are there to entertain the fans.

TEASE!!!!!

I was really looking forward to the Peace and Mr. Moonlight performances, but I guess I have to wait for the DVD release!!

The concert was absolutely fantastic though. I loved all the Berryz & C-ute & Momusu joint performances~ Ai x Reina's Shining Itoshiki Anata and Furusato by Koha & Co. were especially

Ok, I've watched the concert and something is definitely going on, it seems suspicous that they would lip-sync almost every song, so maybe new sound pasted over their singing just for the tv version, guess we'll have to wait for the dvd version and see.

Berryz Koubou totally owned the stage with Special G! Cool that Ayaka got so many lines in Dance & Chance.

She's the worst Singer in Hello! Project Kids

She has a deep nasal Voice who hurts my ears when i hear her Live Voice at Concerts everytime. Her charming-Points are definitely her Model-Abillities.

Same complaint. Too much Kidz! I definitely was loving the Reunited Tanpopo! MAY was good too. Would've been better if they did the Elegies song in the Yellow & white play costumes.

Nah, Risako isn't the worst. She has improved a whole lot. She got some skills now. She can do falsetto and even vibrato live!!!11!

And to me, she has the 2nd widest range in Berryz. Her biggest problem is still controlling. That will improve once she's older and stronger, I think. If she exercises.

Still, not the best. Nuh-uh. Nowei.

It's not that she isn't good. I didn't like her singing Voice. But i must say that she improved very well, only sad thing is that i'm not a big fan of her

If she is not the best in Berryz, can you explain why she is the one to always have the lines? Why is she the one to have the most singing, even in the concerts? + why is she always in the front and have the most camera? I cannot think of the name of one person better in the entire group of Berryz. She is the one with the already good voice. If I did not even know of the group, she is the one I would think to be the leader, Very nice.
She it in the quality of the dvd.
