How was the autograph session????? Why Best Buy?

Unfortunately, I wan't able to be at the autograph session. By the time I got to Best Buy early in the morning there were more than 300 people waiting in line.

Even two hours before the girls came the store had to be closed after those 300 people were inside. I spent that time on the opposite side of the building where the Soshi bus was parked. Would've had a good spot to take pictures in front of the bus if it weren't for:

-people blocking me
-people pushing me from behind
-Best Buy staff, cops, SNSD staff telling people in front of me to move back while I'm being squished and suffocated
-being pushed all the way to the back away from the crowd

Still had a good time despite these circumstances. Got to be on TV twice (sort or with Live! with Kelly). Made some new friends. Had Dim Sum with Soy and a few soshified people. Representing  .

Here to hoping for more trips to the US then eventually a World Tour in the near future.

Hart, you went to the event? I didn't see you. I came as well.

It was pretty awful I'll admit that. Best Buy was not organized, didn't communicate at all with the fans well, they really didn't seem to care either which made fans even more angry, then the manager of the store I'm assuming was just being an ass. There were people telling him to tell us where to line up and get fences but he ignored us. The fans were also a pain in the ass as well, they crowded the bus, which made it impossible for the girls to get out. =_=

You should have stayed though, because after the cops came, things got organized for once. If it were soshified organizing the event though, police wouldn't be needed, as that shows in the calm line up of the fan meet back in Oct.

Eventually, when things got calmer, I was told the girls signed the 300 people with wrist bands so quickly the manger said to bring the other people outside in, so you didn't even need a wristband anymore. I got autographs, but Jessica wasn't there because of filming for her drama.

I was thinking about going since I'm pretty free atm but it's still a 10 hour drive. Maybe if there was a couple weeks notice I could have done it. Hearing all the stuff about the organizers not being on the same page sucks. Seems like the turnout was great though. Over a 1300 people lined up I heard? o_O I also heard they will be recording an English album this summer/fall. I guess they really are doing this US debut thing. Not sure what to think about it.


Man seems like just yesterday I found some obscure Korean girl group and watched a show chronicling their debut. They were excited to perform at a high school assembly in 100 degree heat. Now I've seen the same group on national TV in the US. Wow who would have ever thunk it.


And they were on with an actor who's character I dressed up as for Halloween a couple times (peter venkman) plus a guy who my grandparents used to watch his stand up tapes when I was staying with them (Howie Mandel).

@junkie: I was at Union Square (or rather nearby Best Buy) almost the entire day from 5am till 11pm. I only went back home before 8am just to drop stuff home and eat lunch, then went back by noon.

I was at the back entrance of Best Buy even before the Soshi bus parked there. Stayed there even if I was pushed around until the girls left.

I'm happy to know that the girls are getting recognition from new people. A few people asked me what was going on and at least one person instantly knew it was Girls Generation after saying 'korean girl group'.

Now how am I gonna explain to my japanese teacher next week that I missed the first day of class because I was 'searching for a certain bus'?

I'm so jealous of people who live in NY right now. I wish I could live in those "major" cities that these idols always go to in the US. ;____;
I really wanted to go to that Best Buy event, so it sucks to hear that it wasn't that well-organized.

Great anticipation for SNSD's Japan activities of this year. We have a different strategy from that of last year. They newly have US activities, so the key is how we should schedule Korea, Japan and US activities. (^^) I want to tell you more about this, but I can't for now (´Д` )

We received an urgent request from SM now (ﾟoﾟ;; They are requiring the audio source for SNSD's next single to be finished by tomorrow morning (>_<) It's exactly the same situation as when we did "MR. TAXI"!! At that time, a miracle happened for us. Will the miracle happen again this time⁈ (￣ ￣)
