A Long Time ComingTakahashi Ai was frustrated.
She and her girlfriend, Niigaki Risa had been dating for almost 2 years. They were really in love. They spent nearly every night together, cuddling and sharing a cozy bed. They would hold hands while they walk and sit next to each other every chance they got. Obviously, that was not the problem.
Ai was bothered that they had never actually done anything.
Sure, they had kissed before. In fact, they kissed each other a lot. And there had been some occurrences in which some experimental touching has taken place. But nothing had amounted to the actual act of sex. Ai, being a normal woman, had needs and desires that would normally be satisfied by another person. But she knew Risa was rather shy when it came to anything even remotely sexual. The girl absolutely hated wearing bikinis for her photobooks. But she didn’t have a choice about that. So she would spend the bare minimum of time without a towel wrapped securely around her. Of course, Ai would never pressure the one she loved into doing anything she didn’t want to. So, nothing happened.
Until that night.
It was late and both girls were laying in bed, reading. Ai was reading a novel by her favorite author and Risa was reading a book wrapped in a cover that she wouldn’t let Ai see. Whenever the leader would poke her head over the other’s shoulder, she would immediately slam it closed. But once, just once, Ai got a glimpse of one page. It looked like two people doing….something. But she figured her eyes were playing tricks on her, forcing her to see what she really wanted.
Soon, both girls could barely keep their eyes open. They both turned off their lights and settled into bed. In a few seconds, Risa whispered, “Ai-chan, are you still awake?” The response was “Yeah, why?” The sub-leader didn’t reply right away. She rolled over to face Ai-chan’s pajama-clad back. “I think I’m ready”, she finally answered. “Eh?”, Ai asked, turning over to stare at her girlfriend with a confused expression. “What I mean is…”, she trailed off, her cheeks blushing a deep crimson. “I think I’m ready to…you know”, she was finally able to say.
Ai stared at her for a few more moments, until the real meaning of the words hit her like a ton of bricks. She grinned shyly and replied, “Well, I’m ready if you’re ready” Risa smiled with relief and moved closer until her lips were on Ai’s. They kissed a little harder than ever before. Their lips crushing against each other, as if to gobble up something that could disappear at any moment. Ai let her hands wander the smooth body, feeling every curve and patch of skin. Risa’s hands followed in suit, though they seemed rather hesitant to touch the body next to her. She slowly gripped Ai’s back, feeling the skin and rubbing it softly. While Ai’s arms wrapped over her shoulders, pulling her close.
A knee scooted up and found its way between Risa’s legs, moving up and down in a slow, rhythmic movement. She gasped and broke the kiss, surprised at how good it felt. Ai immediately stopped, afraid she began to move too fast. “I’m sorry”, she said quickly, her face flushing with embarrassment. “No, it’s okay”, the younger girl replied, grinning, “It feels nice” Ai was relieved and pressed her lips to the neck, leaving tiny kisses. Risa moaned lightly, her hands gravitating to her girlfriend’s hips.
Both girls continued to explore uncharted territory until the deed was done. “That was amazing”, Ai remarked, arms slung around her girlfriend’s waist, “Are you sure you’ve never done that before?” Risa looked at her with mock accusation. “I could say the same for you”, she retorted, “That thing you did with…” But her words caught in her throat as Ai’s finger stroked her thigh gently.
Both agreed it was worth the wait.
