A/N: So my previouse story was not the best
, i recongnize that. I find writing POV's hard. Really hard O.O;... un like my dear friend Peti-chan or my sempai Almond I don't have a natural knack for it... AT ALL
... but OH WELL!!! To redeem my self here's the first part of a little project i was working on for this month. It's a two part alternative oneshot. The part is a Takagaki one shot of the musical while the second part is a ReinAi/Gakikame version. So here's the first part ^_^ TAKAGAKI HERE WE GO!~
PRINCE GAKI: TAKAGAKI ver.
“Gaki, do you get it now?” They had been practicing for over an hour now and Takahashi was getting more than annoyed.
“Mou~ No I don’t” Risa sighed frustratingly. “You keep doing the same thing” she took off her hands from Takahashi’s back and hand. “You always lead. I’m the Prince! I’m supposed to lead you.” The leader gave a quirky smile, all this time she thought it had been Risa ruining the dance practice, when in fact it was her all along.
“I can’t help it” the older girl shrugged.
“I know… believe me, I know” Risa rolled her eyes and walked back to the table where two chairs stood waiting for them.
“What do you mean by ‘I know’ and roll your eyes like that?” Takahashi too walked back to one of the chairs.
“Forget it, we’ve been here for a long time now and I’m just irritated. I really want to make this musical good but I don’t know if we can.” The younger girl plopped down on a chair, stretching out her sore boot wearing legs.
“Yeah, I know what you mean.” feeling sorry for her sub-leader, Takahashi decided against sitting down. She walked behind the tired Risa and proceeded to give her a surprise back rub. “Maybe this would help”
“It might…” Risa closed her eyes and engrossed herself into the massage but quickly snapped out of it. “No… no it won’t. Please stop.” She reached around grabbed her leaders hands. “Just sit down. I feel bad having you, of all people, give me a massage when you’re the one working the hardest here. If anything,
I should be giving you a neck rub.” She led Takahashi to the lonely chair. “Just sit” she smiled sweetly. Takahashi did as told.
“I’m sorry” the Fukui girl frowned. “This all must be weird.” She puffed her cheeks.
“Actually, it is” Risa brought her legs back in and sat in a manly position. “I play a character that’s madly in love with you. Would you expect it to be normal?” she snorted in laughter.
“No, not really” Ai flashed a mega-watt smile. “But I will admit, it’s a nice change” she blushed a bit.
“Nice change?” Risa looked puzzled.
“Yeah… you know… I’m not really used to seeing you be all boyish.”
“True, and I’m not used to seeing you be all delicate.” The Sub-leader agreed.
“It’s a really nice change.” Takahashi continued “It’s so cute how you get all into the character.”
“USO!?!?” the girl in charge of Yokahama buildings looked surprised.
“Honto” Takahashi nodded.
“I always thought I couldn’t get it right” she furrowed her eyebrows.
“No you’re doing it really right” The leader’s eyes focused on the younger girl. “It’s like… the moment you put the ponytail, the boots and reread your lines, you quickly transform. You become the Prince. The way you walk, talk, stand, even the way you sit” Takahashi slapped Risa’s leg, making her notice her masculine way of sitting “changes into a more manly attitude, but the biggest change of all is how you look at someone.”
“Wow, I never expected I’d get that much into character” Risa was genuinely surprised.
“Yep, it’s funny how different situations make you look at others in a different light” The eldest of the gokkies looked at her younger counter part. She reflected on what she had just told Risa and inwardly smiled at how true her words were. Never in all her years, of knowing Gaki, had she ever looked at her the way that she was now looking at her. Almost as if it were someone else in the place of the person she had shared so many experiences with before. The feeling she got from seeing Risa walk in through the door was different from the one she used to have. To her confusion she now went to bed thinking about her rehearsed scenes with Gaki and woke up with a strong desire to rehearse only the scenes with the chosen prince. All in all though, she just brushed aside knowing it was just her getting to much into
her own character.
“That’s so funny that you mention that” Risa snapped her fingers “Kame said something about the way I look and smile at you”
“The way you look and smile at me?” Takahashi asked.
“Yeah, she called it sexy, sweet and charming. She said she doesn’t understand how you don’t go weak at the knees or faint or something” Risa laughed and Takahashi joined her. Once the laughter settled down, a contemplative look fell upon the youngest of the gokkies “You really think I’m doing a good job?” she sincerely asked. Ai looked at her sympathetically and reached over to grab the other’s hand.
“Yes I do, I really like it” She nodded supportively.
“How much do you like it?” Ai was taken back by the straight forward question.
“Um… I think we’ve rested enough… I think we should practice again. It’s getting super late and everyone already left home” She smiled nervously, trying her best to not answer the question.
“You’re right” Gaki stood up. “But you owe me an answer when we’re done.” She walked to the middle of the rehearsal room. Placed one hand behind her back and extended the other expectantly towards Ai. Seeing Risa stand there so gallantly and tall caused a slight giggle to emerge from Ai. She strode towards her waiting Prince and grabbed her hand. Risa snaked her arm around to Ai’s back and they got into their dancing positions, simultaneously they started to dance in a music-less room.
As expected, Ai started with her dominant ways and Risa was beginning to lose her lead, but this time the sub-leader refused to release it, knowing that if she did they’d have to practice for another hour. She bit down on her teeth and quickly took a determined step, one that surprised the Princess. The shock was so impressive that Ai didn’t have time to recover, soon she found her body willingly allowing it self to be led by the headstrong Risa.
As they spun and stepped, something magical started to take place, they quickly and without realization lost themselves. Suddenly they heard music in the background and no longer were they in a plain wooden floored dance room practicing; they were in a ball with couples around them and a full blown orchestra playing a waltz. Ai bit her bottom lip while a silly grin spread on Gaki’s face and just as sudden they once again found themselves practicing their dance in a plain wooden floored room. Takahashi soon realized they were about to finish the choreography for that scene and decided to go do something on a whim. Taking advantage that Risa was unsuspectingly leading, Ai abruptly took the lead away from the Prince. She grabbed the younger, and at the moment taller, girl and spun her down into a dip. Risa looked up at her in shock.
“This is not part of the choreography” She stated wide eyed “Nowhere does it say that Cinderella suddenly dip the Prin-” Risa never got the chance to finish her sentence, nor did she want to anymore. Ai had leaned down and kissed her. Quickly they parted and Ai stood the dumbfounded Risa back to her feet. “I like it that much” she stated firmly.
