Downloaded the RE5 demo today and it's all good baby *GAMEPLAY SPOILER*

I didn't think it would affect me so much seeing as I played RE4 but the sight and sound of that chainsaw roaring seriously made me all giddy with fear

From the demo, it's definately RE 4.5 but you know, like I said, nothing wrong with that.

On that note, I find the entire Resident Evil 5 situation pretty amusing.

Capcom originally produced a lot of games off the original Resident Evil template. Now just one iteration after making major changes with Resident Evil 4 people are asking them to totally redesign the series again.

There are lots of reasons, such as gamers being more demanding these days. I would level blame at the industry also. They were so successful in assimilating parts of Capcom's work into other projects Resident Evil 5 is suddenly expected to conform to an existing norm.

Ironic really, Resident Evil 4 was the catalyst for the fall from critical favour for less action orientated approaches to survival horror and now it's getting done in by its illegitimate offspring.

Srsly. Just got out the coop with limit in RE5. Love coops and this might just be the next big coop game after GoW/GoW2. Totally looking forward to what the whole game. Gotta be one of the most anticipated in my book right now.

I want Muramasa for the Wii but they lost their NA publisher....
Also Ghostbusters (Wii) and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.
If I had a PS3 though, I would probably get Yakuza 3 as one of my first games. Well also FFXIII.

Wonder if those games listed above were fun for you guys.

Another game I am looking forward to this year is Disciples III.
I really loved part 2. It's like chess with numbers, I was born for playing games like this.

But I'm still wondering if making it movement based fighting will make it lose it's charm.

I know I've already posted about it but I am so excited for Final Fantasy XIII that I'm not waiting for the western release, I'll simply buy the japanese version ! Since I am studying japanese and have just came back from Japan, I see this as a great way to train and try to improve my skills, and of course have a marvelous time while doing so!

Updating my thought of antecipation for this second half of the year, another game I can't wait for is Uncharted 2. It looks simply amazing, and now it has co-op and competitive multiplayer.

I'm sad Spliter Cell 5 got pushed to the next year, along with a lot of other games, like Bioshock 2.
Well, when october starts, so does the fun!

I won a $50 gift card from Gamestop from a Guitar Hero contest in about January, and I still haven't spent it. Why?

I'm waiting for the first episode of StarCraft II to come out.

Well since I made my list the three games I was most looking forward too Alan Wake, God of War 3, and Mass Effect 2 all got pushed to 2010.

Same for Bioshock 2 but I kind of expected that.

But they announced Modern Warfare 2 so at least I have that now.

After seeing the gameplay demo, I'm very much looking forward to the release of Assassin's Creed II. Damn, that game looks awesome! Sucks that I have to wait for a few more months, though. I don't think I can contain my excitement any longer.
