I was hoping for a sexy single in the lines of Pandora, Female President by Girl's Day or Do you love me by 2NE1.
This "serious" pop is not my thing, but Im really looking for it, as it sounds pretty good. I hope it really is

Oh boy, I have some sort of mixed feelings...

The album is nice, but is not what I was expecting. I mean, its pretty good, and the best thing is that its not like
too dance pop, and its nice to listen something more "deeper". Its just that I was expecting something so different.

Runaway is cool, as it tells you pretty much how is the rest of the album. 1+1 and Follow Me are my favorite ones.

Sounds like DSP is trying to get ahead of the story, so they won't get caught flatfooted like last time (and take away any leverage the girls might have, if they were having similar thoughts as last time).

Damn that's some pretty heavy news. Gonna be a shocker the first time KARA performs without Nicole/Jiyoung.

That being said, if Jiyoung wants to focus on her studies that's pretty awesome. As Aristotle said, "education is the best provision for old age." Get dat learn on.

We'll still see them around I'm sure whether it be modeling or k-dramas or whatever. It's not gonna be a goodbye, just a see ya later.

Jiyoung might be leaving too?! I mean if she wants to study I'm okay with it, it's her life. Just that she'll be missed if she decides to leave the group

It's a part of this Asian pop thing we tend to ignore/forget. Because it sucks.

Of course I want Nicole to stay with Kara, cause she's as much of a reason why who they are as anyone else. But, I do applaud her for not trying to force herself into something she doesn't feel passionate about anymore.

Same for Jiyoung. She's still on the fence, but getting a degree is always beneficial. Besides, she could decide to comeback afterwards.

I wish the best for the both of them.

I feel like sharing some Nicole moments.

Anyone remember back in '09 when the Korean Bboys were at a Kara concert and both Hara and Nicole showed them some love? It's so fun to watch them freak out. I know I would do the same.

And if you are looking for straight up Nicole, you always got her stint on Star Golden Bell.

It's still surreal, I have to say, but I agree with ToZ that it's better to leave before it just becomes a chore. Considering on how Jiyoung and Nicole have both contributed to the popularity of KARA, it will be interesting to see what happens in the future. As opposed to when Sunghee left, DSP might consider it too late in the game now to replace these two.

Nicole got me into KARA and KARA is the reason why I expanded my K-pop horizons, so this comes as a pretty significant turning point in life, even though I don't really keep up with the industry anymore. I wish the best for both girls.
