[Chapter 5: Maiden Revealed"Are you alright?" The angelic voice asked, as an equally angelic looking being towered over a still currently curled up Risa. The beast now no where to be found as his entire figure turned into dust due to a sudden bolt of lightning which came from out of nowhere.
"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Risa questioned, her voice muffled due to her current position.
The beautiful savior stared blankly at Risa's vulnerable figure, not knowing what to say. She didn't plan for the younger girl to encounter an attack like this, not just yet anyway. She knelt down to face the helpless girl on eye level as she placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "Don't worry Risa, you're safe now."
Looking up, Risa stared at her savior, eyes puffed and red from crying. The stranger stared back at the young girl, slightly shocked, either from Risa's currently disheveled appearance or from the way Risa glared directly into her own eyes.
"My name is Ai" She said with a warm smile, hoping to cheer the angered and confused girl up a little.
Risa lifted her head up, glaring at Ai, anger building up inside her. Although she knew she shouldn't flare up at the lady before her, she just couldn't contain her discomfort anymore.
"What the hell do you want from me?!" She yelled, causing Ai to back away just a little in shock. She never expected the younger to shout at her like that. Not that she was expecting Risa to start showering her with any gratitude either.
"You're angry?" Ai asked in bewilderment as her head twitched itself to the side. It's not everyday she gets to talk to a human. Although she likes observing them every now and then, especially this particular human being.
"Oh
am I? I couldn't tell." The younger replied sarcastically, "Of course I am angry! What are you an alien or something?!" Risa shouted back, her arms flung about in the air.
"I'm not an alien. I'm-" Ai paused, contemplating about telling Risa her true identity. "Come on, lets just get out of here first." Changing the subject, Ai stood up with an outstretched arm as she waited for Risa to accept the gesture.
Risa stared in disbelief.
What is wrong with this person? Letting out a sigh of defeat, she took hold of the small hand before her, allowing herself to be pulled up to her feet by Ai.
"Now.. This might make you a little dizzy for a second, but don't worry." The stranger smiled, her hand still holding on to Risa's tightly.
"What are you ta-" Before Risa could finish her sentence, her entire being suddenly felt like it was falling apart making her body shimmer into billions of tiny particles. Funny thing was, it didn't hurt one bit. And yes, it did make her feel giddy.
Thus
vanishing into thin air.

The cool yet thin air filled the atmosphere drastically as white smoke lingered aimlessly around what seemed like a never ending white field of fluff. A young toddler lied flat onto the soft looking ground lazing blissfully as she rolled about. A satisfying smug plastered onto her tiny facial features which showed her current mood, happy and well... satisfied.
Her favorite carefree past time was suddenly cut short as she heard a familiar scream of another young girl, much like herself. Pushing herself up to direct her attention towards where the shriek was heard, she stared intensely in bewilderment as the figure of her most trusted companion came storming towards her, arms practically swinging about while screaming incoherent babbles.
"Run for it!!" The runner roared, grabbing hold of her friend's arm thus pulling her along.
"What's going on?" The formerly lazed up child asked as she recovered from the sudden change in events, sprinting past her friend. She was always better at the physical attributes as compared to her partner.
"S- s-he's ... b-ack." Was all the struggling runner could puff out due to the lack of air in her lungs at that moment. They both shared a look of panic as more screaming was made as they sprinted harder at the word
"She"The duo came to an abrupt halt and stared in horror as the formerly mentioned
"She" person stood right before their very eyes, arms crossed not to mention looking very VERY pissed off.
"Howy kwaps." Lazed girl muttered out unconsciously.
She pointed a finger at the two young girls with a very disappointed frown showing on her face. "Watch you're language."
She simply said.
"I told you, many times before. Never use you're powers. You can't control them yet." She said, her calm yet stern voice sending chills down their spines.
"But we-"
"I'm
not done yet." The taller and older young lady dressed in white cut their reasoning. "You," she said pointing the finger at the younger of the mischievous pair "used your powers on
me! And you," this time pointing at the older lazed child, "killed someone with yours!"
"How are you two going to pay for your actions?" She ended the accusations with arms crossed once again.
"But she was in trouble!"
"We saw!"
"You know!"
"And"
"That!"
"Big!"
"Huge!"
"Lousy!"
"Rotten!"
"No good!"
"Piece of dove kwap!"
"You weren't there!"
"And then you were going to die!"
"She was going to die!"
"WE JUST WANNA HELP!" The pair ended their amazingly synchronic reasoning (yelling everything out might I add). With their arms now rested at their sides, previously flung about in various directions just to prove their points. As they tried to salvage themselves from any punishment they would be getting from their most valued elder.
"We just wanted to help Aineechan.." The older one spoke, softly this time looking awfully sorry using her puppy dog eyes as she stepped closer to her elder, tugging gently onto Ai's dress .
"Is it bad to help Aineechan?" The younger of the duo added, following close behind as she too tugged onto Ai's left side of her dress, looking up at the older with her big, round, teary eyes.
Sighing in defeat, Ai rolled her eyes at how easily she could give in to the pair. She knelt down to be on eye level with the girls, her expression softening into a warm smile as she held onto both their hands placidly.
"I know you two meant well, but you just can't go around diminishing people like that." Ai explained, her right hand letting go of the older child's hand, moving up to caress her cheeks.
"People?! That big monster isn't people!" Younger child burst out, her arms flew up in the air in the process.
"And don't think I didn't know that you talked her into it young lady." Ai pointed out sharply, making the youngest close her mouth shut. "I told you two countless times before about keeping the balance, didn't I? We can't just go around killing those
'monsters' no matter how bad they are." She continued her lecture.
"But-" The pair voiced out together, only to be cut off yet again.
"That would make you no different from them now would it?" Ai retorted, finally proving her point as the duo fell silent, directing there attention towards the ground, conscience stricken.
"Come on, lets go back" Ai said soothing the girls soft hair back and ushered them off into the never ending white mist.
