Since their album 悪ガキッ①(Warugaki 1)  was released in December, there has been a large billboard that I see nearly everyday, and it is still up. Last year there was a billboard for ○○がんばらなくてもええねんで！！("○○Ganbaranakutemo Eenende!!") and it stayed up for quite a while.
So it seems that there is some cash being spent to promote the girls.
I plan to buy the album soon, as I found this song to be quite nice:

There are very few examples of any H!P talent performing a song by SPEED, and vice-versa.

So this was a very nice surprise to see S/mileage covering "White Love"...They do a great job, but when you think that Eriko and Hiroko were about the same age when handling virtually all of the lead solos for SPEED (in the beginning, Takako and Hitoe later were given a lot more lines), it does reinforce how amazing SPEED was when they first hit the pop scene.......
