^ There's an awful lot more than 3
The whole idea now is that you can customise your killstreak loadout. So you're no longer tied down with UAV/Airstrike/Chopper like in MW1. Full list below:
3 Kills -- UAV
4 Kills -- Care Package
4 Kills -- Counter UAV
5 Kills -- Sentry Gun
5 Kills -- Predator Missile
6 Kills -- Precision Airstrike
7 Kills -- Strike
7 Kills -- Attack Heli
8 Kills -- Emergency Airdrop
9 Kills -- Pave Low
9 Kills -- Stealth Bomber
11 Kills -- Chopper Gunner
11 Kills -- AC-130
15 Kills -- EMP
25 Kills -- Tactical Nuke
Yes, nukes. A freaking nuke. So as you can see above, there's a number of perks with the same number of kills, but you can only choose one at a time, so you can't have Chopper Gunner and AC-130 at the same time. All apart from UAV/Care Package/Predator Missile are locked from the start, and you have the option of only choosing one to unlock after every 5 levels or so.
My personal favourite is the care package. You can get stuff like ammo or killstreaks that you haven't unlocked yet available for you to use, so it's a great way of being able to use them even if you don't have the skill to get 11 kills in a row. For sheer killing power, I highly favour the chopper gunner. I swear I counted 12 kills in 30 secs with it. And for sheer spectacle, it has to be the Stealth Bomber. Watching this massive thing soar across the sky and drop bombs by the bucketload is very visually impressive.
On top of this you have Deathstreaks. If you've died around 3 times in a row you can use this as a means of trying to help you out. So Copycat will allow you to copy your last killer's class during loadout. Final Stand is much like Last Stand except you can crawl and use your Primary Weapon. And I think there's martyrdom and a variance on Juggernaut as the remaining ones.
So you probably heard the controversy surrounding the PC version of MW2. How they would not support dedicated servers and PC gamers famously forming a boycott group on Steam. So 2 days on, how is the boycott group standing firm for their beliefs?
Oh.
