Why are you all complaining about the story of Scenario Campaigne Mode? XD
Why are you all caring about the story in a fighting game? :P

I didn't think I was, on either count. :s

So is anyone suited up for the biggest game release of the year? That's right, it's Buzz Quiz World!!

Actually no, it's not, 11.10.09 sees the release of Modern Warfare 2. I'm purposefully avoiding all single-player trailers and footage as it's bound to be spoiled from here to kingdom come. I understand there's a new trailer out and I haven't gone searching for it, but I'm sure you can find it in the usual areas. Multiplayer however...

Multiplayer

Loving the name match winning kill cam. I'm so busy with Uni work that I don't know if I'll have the time to play it, and maybe just ask for Santa to bring it if I've been a good boy.

MLG tournament all this weekend, with Halo 3/Gears of War/World of Warcraft.

WoW matches: http://www.gotfrag.com/wow/story/44672/
WoW Schedule: http://www.gotfrag.com/wow/story/44671/  (All times are PST)
Stream: http://www.gotfrag.com

It'll ask you to download/install a small plug-in to watch the stream, but that's it.  Then just go through the tabs to watch the streams for whichever tournament you'd like to see.

How is that? I'm tempted.

I've been having a blast playing it.  Should give it a go.  :twothumbs

This is the destroyer I've started playing (melee class):

Got Modern Warfare 2 and...

What does everyone else think about [bgcolor=#ffffff]the airport level?[/bgcolor] Multiplayer seems neat infinite. Nothing new over COD4, but the expansion on it is so huge, it's impossible not to get overwhelmed by it. More weapons, more challenges than ever, titles, emblems, upgradeable perks, killstreaks, deathstreaks. Love it.

I've nto got CoD yet as I'm only really itnerested in the multiplayer and my net is too crap for it at the mo. I'm most curious about the new killstreaks though, I heard rumour that it goes higher than 7. What are they and at how many kills do you get 'em?

^ There's an awful lot more than 3 XD The whole idea now is that you can customise your killstreak loadout. So you're no longer tied down with UAV/Airstrike/Chopper like in MW1. Full list below:

3 Kills -- UAV
4 Kills -- Care Package
4 Kills -- Counter UAV
5 Kills -- Sentry Gun
5 Kills -- Predator Missile
6 Kills -- Precision Airstrike
7 Kills -- Strike
7 Kills -- Attack Heli
8 Kills -- Emergency Airdrop
9 Kills -- Pave Low
9 Kills -- Stealth Bomber
11 Kills -- Chopper Gunner
11 Kills -- AC-130
15 Kills -- EMP
25 Kills -- Tactical Nuke

Yes, nukes. A freaking nuke. So as you can see above, there's a number of perks with the same number of kills, but you can only choose one at a time, so you can't have Chopper Gunner and AC-130 at the same time. All apart from UAV/Care Package/Predator Missile are locked from the start, and you have the option of only choosing one to unlock after every 5 levels or so.

My personal favourite is the care package. You can get stuff like ammo or killstreaks that you haven't unlocked yet available for you to use, so it's a great way of being able to use them even if you don't have the skill to get 11 kills in a row. For sheer killing power, I highly favour the chopper gunner. I swear I counted 12 kills in 30 secs with it. And for sheer spectacle, it has to be the Stealth Bomber. Watching this massive thing soar across the sky and drop bombs by the bucketload is very visually impressive.

On top of this you have Deathstreaks. If you've died around 3 times in a row you can use this as a means of trying to help you out. So Copycat will allow you to copy your last killer's class during loadout. Final Stand is much like Last Stand except you can crawl and use your Primary Weapon. And I think there's martyrdom and a variance on Juggernaut as the remaining ones.

So you probably heard the controversy surrounding the PC version of MW2. How they would not support dedicated servers and PC gamers famously forming a boycott group on Steam. So 2 days on, how is the boycott group standing firm for their beliefs?

Oh.
